Der Innenraum wurde optimal genutzt, um den Komfort zu bieten, der mit einer modernen und sorgfältigen Dekoration gepaart ist, die Ihre Erwartungen erfüllen wird. DIE NACHBARSCHAFT ÜBERBLICK
Die Gäste haben einfachen Zugang zu mehreren Restaurants (es gibt ein kleines Café direkt vor dem Gebäude), Geschäften, Einkaufszentrum und Supermarkt.
Die Wohnung liegt ganz in der Nähe des berühmten Bauernmarktes (Mercado dos Lavradores), des historischen Zentrums von Funchal (lokal als "Zona Velha" bekannt) und der Kathedrale. Von hier aus können Sie viele der wichtigsten Touristenattraktionen unserer schönen Stadt zu Fuß erkunden. (z.B. die Seilbahn, der Yachthafen von Funchal, das CR7-Museum, die Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

Der Strand von Barreirinha ist etwa zwanzig Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, wo Sie sich entspannen und in das kristallklare Wasser der Insel eintauchen können.

GETTING AROUND
Obwohl eine Aerobus-Haltestelle für An- und Abflüge vom Flughafen nur vier Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung entfernt ist, empfehlen wir den privaten Transfer-Service als die beste Option, um dorthin zu gelangen. Kontaktieren Sie uns im Voraus, um einen privaten Transfer mit unseren lokalen Partnern zu vereinbaren. Es ist billiger als ein Taxi am Flughafen zu nehmen!

- Nach portugiesischem Recht müssen alle Gäste einen gültigen Ausweis vorlegen. (z.B. Reisepass, Personalausweis).
- Der Check-in muss im Voraus geplant werden. Falls der Check-in nicht innerhalb von 48 Stunden vor der Ankunft geplant wird, müssen die Gäste die Verfügbarkeit unseres Teams abwarten.
- Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden. Bei Bedarf können wir auch ein Kinderbett, einen Hochstuhl und eine Babybadewanne zur Verfügung stellen. Ein Erste-Hilfe-Kasten, ein Feuerlöscher und eine Feuerlöschdecke sind in allen Unterkünften vorhanden.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass für alle Personen, die in der Gemeinde Funchal übernachten, eine Touristengebühr erhoben wird. Für alle Gäste, die in Ferienanlagen und/oder Unterkünften übernachten und mindestens 13 Jahre alt sind, wird eine Gebühr von 2,00 € pro Person/Nacht erhoben, bis zu einem Maximum von 7 Nächten und einem Maximum von 14,00 € pro Person/Aufenthalt. Bei Ihrer Ankunft erhalten Sie einen Link zur Zahlung dieser Kommunalsteuer.

La ubicación es buena, está cerca del centro de Funchal y de las atracciones de la ciudad, se puede llegar cómodamente a cualquier parte andando. El acceso con la clave y las llaves fue rápido y bien indicado.. El apartamento está muy bien equipado con menaje y otras facilidades (sal, café, bolsas de basura para la estancia, etc.).
Al llegar a las 23 de la noche el primer día el apartamento no había sido limpiado, entré en el apartamento y encontré todo sucio y patas arriba, fue muy incómodo después de todo el día viajando. Avisé al teléfono de contacto, me atendieron rápido y en español, en cuestión de 30- 45 minutos me buscaron otro apartamento, pero estaba a 500 metros, era tarde e iba cargado, no fue una buena experiencia. El apartamento para esa noche era de mayor calidad pero al día siguiente tuve que volver al mío, me dejaron hacerlo por la tarde, por las molestias me dijeron que me devolverían la cuota de limpieza, no fue así, por lo que no puedo valorar bien la solución. En cuanto a la ubicación a pesar de ser buena, actualmente están construyendo junto a la ventana, a mi no me molestó demasiado porque me iba temprano, pero estaban toda la mañana con obras en la ventana, ruido y polvo, deberían avisarlo para quién busque descanso. El resto de la estancia y el check out fueron bien.

Die Wohnung hat eine super Ausgangslage für Sehenswürdigkeiten in Funchal. Sie ist sehr zentral gelegen, Restaurants, Fußgängerzone, Geschäfte, Promenade, alles sehr nah. Man ist praktisch mitten drin. Parken ist dementsprechend schwierig, mit ein bisschen Suchen haben wir ein Parkhaus (Santa Luzia) in der Nähe gefunden, wo man nur 5 Euro pro 24h zahlen muss. Bei vielen näher gelegenen zahlt man bereits 15€. Zum Ausladen kann man das Auto kurz an der Straße stehen lassen. Die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich und hatte eine gute Ausstattung an Küchengeräten(Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Salz, Öl,…). Wir hatten die Wohnung etwas größer erwartet, aber der Platz hat ausgereicht. Wir haben etwas Zeit gebraucht, um den Eingang zu finden, trotz sehr guter Anleitung des Gastgebers. Der selbstständige Check-In war reibungslos. Trotz zentraler Lage war es sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Wer eine zentrale Wohnung sucht und nicht viel Platz braucht, kann ich die Wohnung nur empfehlen!

Very well placed room to sleep in Funchal. Beware that they use photos of the view from suite which is on last floor. We were on the 2nd floor and we cannot see city and beautiful landscape - only wall of the another building and part of the street.

The accomodation was perfect for us, it's silent, we couldn't hear noise nor from the neighbour, and nor from the street. And the location ...! It is in the old city, close to the Sé, the Avenida do Mar, the bus station, and trleferico.

Excellent location. Ideally positioned near the seafront, cable car, bars, restaurants and shopping.

Supermarkets just around the corner. Cuban bar/restaurant at the bottom of the apartment. Pharmacy 2 minutes walk away. So much choice in the area and only about ten minutes away from the fruit/fish market. I cannot rate the location highly enough. Not on a steep road. Near to bus routes and taxis can be found just down the road.

One of the best showers I've ever used in an apartment. Very powerful, had great adjustable temperatures and I always felt very cleansed. Towels, hand soap and shower gel/shampoo available.

Well equipped with good facilities: induction hob, microwave/grill, toaster, coffee percolator etc. Table/chairs for dining. Walking up liquid and sponge, tea towels, cleaning cloths and refuse bags. This was very appreciated. TV available. Plug sockets in the room good storage for clothing. Lift to apartment. Code & key access. WiFi which has great connection. Instruction manuals for electricals. Information for guests readily available.

Customer service staff were always available by message with quick responses and recommendations. Laundry available downstairs as was a refuse area which included recycling.

Small and compact but with plenty of amenities and in a superb location overall. I would stay here again 100%.
Small ants in the floor which could get in via the sliding door. Not terrible (I've had worse in Malta!) but reported to the accommodation and acknowledged.

Awkward position of bed (for me personally) as I was on the left of the bed which is positioned against the wall so it was a little challenging to get in and out - this is mainly due to the size of the apartment and available space so is not a deal breaker, just useful for people to know. This also meant that I had no side table. My husband did on the right.

We were not aware of an issue with the outer electric blinds (they seemed to work fine for us) nor were we pre informed of a potential visit. This could be a difference in approach by the country but we had an unexpected visit by 4 men who needed access. We had been in the middle of an afternoon nap after a 17km walk so it was a bit awkward because my husband was in bed sleeping (everything is in the one room). Notice would have been appreciated.

There were building works happening directly outside the property but we were out most of the time so it wasn't terrible for us. Sleep could be disrupted some mornings by the sound of metal saws and banging. It is out of summer season however so building is not unexpected for most destinations. Our views were of a street with bars but mainly we could see a building site out of the balcony window. Worth knowing if this would be a deal breaker for you. We didn't mind so much but someone else might.

TV is fine. Large and ideally positioned but is not a smart TV so we were not able to connect to it for Netflix or YouTube. Again, not a deal breaker but useful to know. TV wasn't why we were away so this wasn't a problem for us.

More pillows would have been nice 👍 we only had one each but we managed.

Die Lage des Appartements ist super, zentral und nachts dennoch ruhig. Bett bequem, Dusche gut, auf sehr kleinem Platz ist an alles gedacht. Die Kommunikation und Checkin per Schlüsselbox gut. Auf Beanstandungen wurde schnell reagiert und repariert.
Von den Fotos her hatten wir eine Terrasse erwartet und etwas mehr Platz, - es war aber dennoch ausreichend. Leider war direkt vor unserem Fenster eine Baustelle, wo ab morgens gearbeitet wurde.

The location is great!
I couldn't do either the pre check in or the pre check out forms properly due to the options available. I was contacted to be let know someone was going to my room in two hours - after I told them I wouldnt want anyone to go to the room whilst I wasn't there - when I mentioned this again they did not go to be fair but it was not great, at least ask if the person minds. The room is a bit small. I ended up not cooking there - just breakfast - and I don't think I would have enough space.

I enjoyed the most that it was very well equipped. More than this, the property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Its position is also an advantage as the property is based right in the center of Fuchal and very close to the sea.

La ubicación inmejorable. Parking cercano aunque de pago (económico). Limpieza general tanto de las habitaciones como de las zonas comunes. Todo lo necesario para pasar unas agradables vacaciones. Lavadora/secadora comunitaria (genial con las sudadas de las rutas de senderismo). Vistas al exterior, todos los electrodomésticos y accesorios prácticamente nuevos y de marcas conocidas. No echamos nada en falta, la verdad.
En general me gustó todo, aunque mejoraría las camas y almohadas.

Perfect location to explore Funchal. The flat was quiet and warm.
Communication with the letting agency was annoying. During both the online check in and check out they kept trying to upsell something. I don’t want to have to go through a ton of adverts just to check out.
I also didn’t like the fact that the check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 10 AM. Yet when I arrived at the property at 3:50 PM I was told by three cleaners who were standing inside the flat, two of them checking their phones, to come back in 20-30 minutes. Which technically would be past the check out time.

1eres photos qui donnent envie avec la terrasse mais il faut bien savoir que ce logement n'a pas de vue ni terrasse. Bien regarder avant.

An Island are quite fast to respond if there is a problem and they’re sympathetic with refunds if you aren’t totally 100% happy, so it turned out to be a good stay in the end. Be warned though - air conditioning in this apartment is very strong so please do not set it to lower than 23 degrees as you will end up with sore throats and colds! Other than that, great location, walkable distance to all shops, cool water front locations and everything!

We would like to clarify this. On booking.com we advertise photos of the building in general, including photos of the balcony of the penthouse flat. However when you proceed with the booking, it only shows the specific photos of each flat and in this specific case, it does not indicate that the 4B is a penthouse, but only shows a photo with a small balcony.

Pokój z pięknym tarasem ze zdjęcia na bookingu okazał się być zwykłym pokojem z balkonem wielkości 30cmx100cm z widokiem na stare budynki.
Kabina prysznicowa była zagrzybiała i brudna...
Brakowało bardzo miejsca parkingowego, najbliższe miejsce do zostawienia auta było jakiś 1km od mieszkania i oczywiście ten parking był płatny (15eur za samą noc).
Cała reszta była po prostu ok.

Overall the stay was fine but we wouldn’t book here again. We really liked the location since it was in the centre of town. There is a very nice bar downstairs and they close around 22:30/23:00 so you won’t have any noise after that and if you close the balcony doors you have almost no noise at all anyways. We were also very happy with the taxi service that we booked from the airport to the appartement.
BUT, the apartment was not really clean. There were hairs on the bathroom wall, molt around the sink and the shower was full of molt. The bedsheets had stains (we think of greasy food, but it doesn’t look clean..), there were food stains left in the kitchen and the kitchen tools were not cleaned properly. Stains on the walls and cabinets, which are so easy to clean.. The most disgusting thing that we found were clipped nails on the balcony, really gross.
We let the owner know on our 3rd morning and they told us they would refund the cleaning fee, which is kind.

Lage ist unschlagbar zentral und doch ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Nahverkehr, Hafen, Museen ... alles mit wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Zugang durch Zahlencode einfach und sicher. Frühzeitige Info über An- und Abreise durch Anbieter sehr gut.

Nicht das typische Airbnb - eher ein solides 3* Hotelzimmer, nur eben ohne Rezeption. Zentral gelegen, aber trotzdem noch akzeptabel ruhig. Das Zimmer ist recht klein und deshalb eher für Alleinreisende geeignet. Sonst ist eigentlich alles vorhanden. Etwas ärgerlich, dass weder der Backofen noch der Geschirrspüler aus der Beschreibung vorhanden waren. Man sollte sich im Klaren sein, das es keine kostenlosen Parkplätze in der Nähe gibt und selbst die Unterbringung eines Leihfahrrads problematisch ist. Ich durfte meines in der Lobby abstellen, aber mehr als eines passt da auch nicht rein.

La ubicación, del apartamento era perfecta, lo que buscábamos, en el centro, y tranquilo al mismo tiempo
En las fotos al alquilar , salía una terraza espectacular, y la terraza existía, pero en otro apartamento, no en el nuestro, nos sentimos algo engañados, por ese precio si supiéramos que no tenía terraza, cogerianmos alguno de los otros apartamentos que estuvimos mirando, cogimos ese exclusivamente por la terraza que no tenia

A melhorar: A primeira porta de entrada deveria também ter acesso por código para evitar a intrusão de pessoas externas aos apartamentos e o gradeamento deveriam ter menos espaço entre as grades.
