Das Studio befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, das in der Vergangenheit ein kultureller Ort von großer Bedeutung in Funchal war und eine Zeit lang als Kino diente. Dieses dreistöckige Gebäude ist mit verschiedenen Themen einiger der großen Klassiker der siebten Kunst dekoriert.

Diese Wohnung befindet sich im 2. Stock eines alten Kulturhauses, das jetzt komplett renoviert, umgestaltet und mit Details dekoriert wurde, die sich auf Afrika beziehen, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Marokko liegt (Weißes Haus).
Die Dekoration wurde bis ins Detail durchdacht und verbindet kulturelle Elemente mit dem, was auf Reisen am meisten gefragt ist: Zweckmäßigkeit, Modernität und Komfort.
Diese Unterkunft bietet Platz für maximal 2 Personen. Es bietet einen offenen Bereich mit verschiedenen Wohnbereichen, einem Doppelbett, einer gut ausgestatteten Küche, einer Essecke und einem Bad mit Dusche.
Das Gebäude hat einen gemeinsamen Eingang für alle Wohnungen und befindet sich in der Rua Ivens, hinter dem Stadtgarten von Funchal, einer der Hauptverkehrsadern der Stadt.

Das Gebäude liegt in der Rua Ivens, hinter dem Stadtgarten von Funchal und 1 Minute zu Fuß vom Stadttheater Baltazar Dias entfernt. Von diesem Gebäude aus können Sie zu Fuß die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Hauptstadt der Insel Madeira kennenlernen und besuchen. In der Nähe befinden sich Restaurants, Einkaufszentren, Bars, Museen, die Kathedrale von Funchal, der Jachthafen von Funchal und der Park Santa Catarina.

So werden allen Kunden, die in touristischen Einrichtungen und/oder Unterkünften übernachten und mindestens 13 Jahre alt sind, 2,00 € pro Person/Nacht berechnet, bis zu einem Maximum von 7 Nächten und einem Maximum von 14,00 € pro Person/Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war schön und zentral gelegen .. Man konnte vieles zu Fuß erreichen, allerdings hatte unser Zimmer ein Gerät in der Küche, welches nachts laute Geräusche gemacht hat und wir dadurch die ersten Nächte nicht gut schlafen konnten. Nach einigen Nachrichten hat sich das Problem gelöst, da etwas an dem Gerät gemacht wurde, wodurch es dann nicht mehr so laut war. Abgesehen davon war alles super

A special thank you for the tote bag, it traveled around the entire island with us😄

We really liked the location of the building—2 minutes to the ocean and 1 minute to the shopping center.

It was a bit noisy from the street, but we were so tired by the end of the day that it didn’t bother us.

Ein sehr schönes Airbnb, jedoch leider etwas zu Laut durch die Lage zur Straße. Eine Klimaanlage bei hohen Außentemperaturen hätte ebenfalls nicht geschadet. Bei Ankunft gab es Probleme mit dem Elektronischen Türschloss, da dieses entfernt worden war und ein Mitarbeiter extra mit einem normalen Schlüssel kommen musste, was allerdings sehr schnell ging.

Numa estadia de 11 noites, apenas foi efetuada troca de toalhas, roupas de cama e produtos de higiene ao fim de 8 noites.
Como o sistema de código de abertura de portas estava inativo, foi-nos deixada chave. No dia em que foi efetuada limpeza ao estúdio, quando chegámos ao final do dia, encontramos a porta aberta.
Quarto virado para a rua muito barulhento. Caixilharia pouco eficiente em termos de corte acústico.
Limpeza dos espaços comuns deixa a desejar também.

Tür öffnet sich mit elektrischem Schloss und ist nur mit Code zu öffnen. Tür verriegelt sich automatisch. Öffnen der Tür dauert ca 10 Sekunden… in einem Notfall unvorstellbar.

The host was very responsive and was always available when i had questions. Place was as shown in pictures. Saw some reviews about how you could hear the noises outside - i would disagree, we came in feb and it was pretty quiet. Could only hear noises if you had opened the window, otherwise when shut the noise would pretty much disappear. All the amenities were working. They provided both heating and a fan which was extremely helpful. Felt very safe and the place was clean when we arrived. Would recommend this location and place for all visitors

We spent a wonderful week here and our experience was excellent. The property is in close proximity to La Vie mall, near the harbor, with all the sights nearby. We are very pleased with all the conditions offered by the property and would return anytime with great pleasure.

Generally I feel I overpaid for what I got. A small apartment which did meet the basic requirements for a one night stay in a convenient place in Funchal however no more than that I feel.

- da localização mesmo no centro do Funchal, ao lado de um Shopping e perto de um parque de estacionamento acessível (Parque São João);
- do conforto do quarto e equipamentos da casa de banho;
- da relação qualidade/preço;
- Wi-Fi com excelente qualidade;
- cozinha com quase todos os equipamentos necessários;
- máquina de lavar/secar a roupa e ferro de engomar:
- entrada por código, sem necessidade de chave.
- não tinha micro-ondas, nem máquina de café (cápsulas);
- quarto sem ar condicionado (apenas com uma ventoinha);
- sem estacionamento gratuito e o existente pago era muito escasso.

Locație situata în centrul istoric aproape de restaurante,gradina și alte zone de interes. Apartamentul este dotat cu tot(plita, masina de spalat, fier de calcat si masa de calcat, frigider) . Este situat aproape si de un centru comercial și o patiserie ce poate fi o alternativa bună pentru mic dejun.
Lipsa aerului condiționat și lipsa unui loc de parcare. Proprietate nu dispune de loc de parcare. Se poate parca în centrul comercial, dar este o alternativa mai costisitoare.

Location was perfect! Right in the heart of Funchal, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, really close to shopping mall La Vie with big and cheap grocery store. The apartment was really well equipped.
We had little difficulties in finding parking spot - but there is big, paid parking lot in La Vie, and at night parking lots nearby are free (20.00-8.00).
We had no problem with accomodation.
The only inconvenience was lack of air conditioning. On hot nights we wanted to open the window for fresh air, but it was very loud outside and we couldn't fall asleep. There is fan in the apartment that saved the situation a bit.

l'emplacement était bien situé dans Funchal. Arrêt de bus en direction de l'aéroport à 4 minutes et centre commercial avec un supermarché juste en face. Bel emplacement.

Petit point négatif, c'est le manque d'air-co dans la chambre qui retient toute la chaleur extérieur.

Very nice, well equipped flat in the city center. The kitchen has everything you would need for a few days.
It’s located in a small street so it’s not too noisy, there are a lot of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, and a shopping center 2 minutes away.
There is no key or card, it’s very easy.

Staff was very kind and helpful throughout the whole journey. I like that their response on booking was always fast🫶🏼
I would add more towels especially if someone is staying for longer than 5 days. And change the pillows as they are super low and too soft. Basically flat and poor quality. You’d wake up every morning with headache and/or pain in your neck.
Kitchen has more or less everything you need to cook and inside the wardrobes you can even find a fan and a radiator as they do not use AC. Even though I would add it as the room becomes really hot :)

Appartamento piccolo ma funzionale. Ideale per stare pochi giorni, in due ci si sta precisi perché è praticamente un corridoio con cucinino, camera e bagno. C'è solo una finestra grande in stanza e per arieggiare di notte per via del caldo dovevamo lasciarla aperta. Purtroppo la strada è molto rumorosa di notte quindi non abbiamo dormito sempre bene. Comunque la posizione è buona per spostarsi a piedi. Per il posto auto invece scomoda perché non ci sono parcheggi gratuiti. Abbiamo pagato il posto auto tutti i giorni. Sommariamente siamo stati bene.

could have had a secure room to leave luggage if checking out was hours before flight ( boiler room/ bin store partitioned would have been idea) very inconvenient having to cart suitcase around for 6 hours, this put a damper on a great holiday

A couple things to note:

Gmaps will take you to the wrong address. The building is next to the organic food store called Loja Bioforma just put that in.

The silverware is located in the oddest place. It’s in the drawer under the oven. It took me nearly three hours to find a fork. It sounds like other people in the reviews never found it.

There is no heater or air conditioner. I was here in January and needed to wear sweatshirts and warm pants with warm socks around the apartment.

The hot water in the shower lasts for a maximum of 8 minutes. Which was fine for me as a solo traveler but you’ll need to plan your showers as a couple. And plan when you wash dishes. There’s no hot water in the bathroom sink which made shaving a pain. I just filled up a cup with hot water in the kitchen and shaved that way.

Overall a great stay! You get weekly cleaning. Awesome location that is right next to the mall with an amazing grocery store, gym, farmacia. Id definitely stay again.

Newly converted place, clean and comfortable. Noisy street close to local amenities. No cutlery, kitchen knife, or mugs provided, had to buy these from the supermarket. These items should be provided in self catering accommodation.

Great location, within walking distance from the old town and port. Close to cheap public parking at the postal office building (if you rent a car) and near one of the shopping malls with a big supermarket.

Ok clean, modern, well equipped. Minimalistic, clean design which we liked.

The accommodation is perfectly located, it was very clean and the communication with the host was also very good. At the beginning we were a bit lost: the indicated address in the confirmation email was Rua Ivens 4 and this is what we set in the GPS. However, the apartment was a bit further (at the end of this street). If it is your first time in the city, you might be lost. After our call to the host, he navigated us to the right address. Although the kitchen was very well equipped, we were missing the cutlery.
