Being in the city center is a privilege. Having the freedom to leave home and get to the various points of interest without much effort is ideal for those who like to get to know the city on foot. This pleasant city apartment, located on one of the city's main arteries, is close to the main accesses to the highway that connects the east, west and north of the island, as well as the streets that give access to the city center. Simply decorated, practical and functional, the apartment has a living room with a sofa bed, dining table and natural light. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook your own meals. The property has air conditioning and can accommodate a maximum of four people. AREA This apartment is located in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. 10 minutes walk from the Mercado dos Lavradores and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore the various tourist attractions of our beautiful city (e.g. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Cathedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...). In addition to these amenities, close to the house (10 minutes walk) there is the 'La Vie' shopping centre with several shops, cafés, restaurants and a medium-sized supermarket. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
