DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The natural light, large terrace and superb views over Funchal and the mountains are the symbols of this apartment.

It is a duplex and is on the sixth floor of a quiet and sunny building: invites sunbathing and dips in the pool embedded in the building's garden.

On the first floor of the apartment are the three accommodations: two bedrooms spacious and at the bottom, a suite with dressing room, safe, and hot tub. It is also on this floor which is the dining and living room, with a balcony and a splendid view, and a spacious kitchen with modern appliances.

The large windows of the rooms and the balcony of the first floor offer stunning views over the island, but when we went up to the second floor where the view is breathtaking: the chillout space with lounge chairs and a table to meet with friends and / or family, gives way to a large terrace overlooking the city, the bay of Funchal, in contrast to part of the mountain range of the island. You can see the Pico Fortress, built in the seventeenth century, the Cathedral of Funchal or the Summit of the Convent of Santa Clara, arranged between the different greens of flora of Madeira. The terrace also has sun loungers for those wishing to extend to the sun (or under the stars!) And a barbecue where you can prepare a snack while enjoying the scenery. Also see the typical houses, the Funchal Marina and cruises, and very sunny days, the Desert Islands as a backdrop.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW

The street of Jasmineiro, where is located the apartment, leads one of the arteries of the city, Avenida do Infante. Here, there are traditional Portuguese terraces, typical pastries, and gourmet restaurants. In front, is the Madeira Casino and advise you through the Santa Catarina Park, the garden is on the left, to reach the center of Funchal. It's five minutes worth and do not reveal more, we want to find out for yourself. If you go to the right side, the ride is also inviting and takes you to the beach area - in any case, choose which path to choose, always light the fact-suite in the backpack as the temperature of the sea water is around 22 degrees and it is time for almost all dives the year.

GETTING AROUND

To get from/to airport, there is a aerobus stop within 3 minutes walking distance from the house or you can ask us to arrange a taxi transfer with our local and trustworthy partners. Cheaper that the airport taxis!

La location était conforme à la description avec une pièce de vie agréable, 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain confortables, 1 grande mezzanine avec un coin canapé et un autre lit double. Seule la 2 ème salle de bain manquait, il s'agissait en fait d'1 douche extérieure. La vue sur mer est magnifique' entourée d'1 végétation luxuriante, et l'accueil de la propriétaire chaleureuse. Les routes sont par contre très sinueuses, ce qui implique un temps de route important, mais c'est l'effort nécessaire pour calme et nature.

Fine place for few days in beautiful Madeira!

Very nice apartment for staying at the center of Funchal. Property is excellent equipped, you have everything what you need . Just few minutes by walk to old city, Marina, market etc. Perfect view from you windows and roof terrace to Funchal and ocean. Next time in Madeira - definitely here! Thank you for hospitality!

Very nice flat, near the center of the town (less ten minutes by foot), very quiet. A great terrace with a great view. In january, it was a little cold inside because there is just one little electric heater, and we liked to have an electric coffe maker and an orange squeezer (because a lot of oranges at Madère). A very good stay for a week in a wonderful island

Fabulous apartment in a convenient location

Jasmineiro I is a fabulous and stylish apartment located a short walk from La vie shopping centre and several excellent eateries. The apartment is on two levels with a stunning sun room and large terrace on the top floor. Even with six adults staying in the three bedrooms, the apartment still felt spacious and comfortable. The only real negative point is the shower screen in the bathroom which makes it difficult to get into the bath/shower safely. I would definitely choose this apartment again if staying in Funchal with family or friends.
