Weil unser Flug gestrichen wurde haben wir eine Nacht hier verbracht. Obwohl es nur ein Doppelbett gab und ein Sofa wurde der volle Preis für vier Personen gebucht. Das ganze Gebäude ist sehr anonym, ich weiß nicht ob es noch andere Gäste gab. Im Bad roch es ekelhaft, auch der Abfluss in der Küche stank. In der gesamten Wohnung roch es süßlich, lüften könnten wir wegen Moskitos und Lärm nicht so richtig. Der seitliche Meerblick ist ein Witz, man sieht das Meer nur vom winzigen Balkon aus. Die Beschichtungen der Teflon Pfannen in der Küche sind nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Mokka Kanne war so rostig dass wir sie nicht benutzen wollten. Alles in allem als Notunterkunft okay, aber nicht zu dem Preis! Das Zimmer war teurer als unser wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit sieben Betten...

At our arrival, parking the car wasn't clear. The garage key was inside the apartment, so entering the garage was only possible after check-in. We called for clarification and we were helped right away.
Checking in was a little messy without pre-knowledge, but after entering the apartment we had a great stay!

Apartment was clean & tidy. Check in instruction was easy. Plenty of clean towels. Location was central, 20 minutes from city centre, although if mobility is not good the walk back to the apartment is uphill and could be a challenge for elderly or infirm. Bathroom was clean, but after a day or so there was an awful smell coming from the trap/drain. A bottle of bleach to be left for visitors to the apartment may be a good idea. The mattress on the bed could maybe replaced it dipped in the middle and was a bit lumpy, on removal of the sheets the mattress was stained. Other than that, nice apartment and stay.

L’alloggio si trova in una posizione tranquilla abbastanza comoda per visitare la città anche a piedi e molto comodo anche per visitare delle cantine.
Ottimo il servizio di consegna chiavi e la velocità nelle risposte da parte dell’host. Molto comodo il fatto di avere un garage con posto riservato.
Grazie alla posizione non troppo in centro città è risultato molto comodo anche poter utilizzare l’auto per visitare l’isola ed effettuare delle camminate.
La vicinanza al centro città invece è comoda al fine di visitarla e di poter andare al mercato del pesce per acquistare il pescato fresco.
Alloggio pulito e il letto dispone di topper!
Fondamentale la presenza del climatizzatore!

- Very tight car park with instructions unclear on where car park buzzer would be. Was told beforehand that all keys would be in lock box but this wasn't the case - car park entrance gate stopped working so had to use exit half way through stay
- Bedding and matress topper loose so constantly had to fix it during stay.
Nothing wrong with the apartment and host was very responsive. Had a great time in Madeira

The apartment worked great for us - it had all amenities listed, and it’s a nice 15 minute walk down to the centre. The bed was not great, and when we complained about it, they came the same day with an extra cover mattress for the bed. It still wasn’t great, but they said they were going to change the entire mattress after we left. An island were great communication-wise, and did everything in their power to fix our problem in a very efficient way.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und vor allem die Ausstattung der Küche war perfekt.
Des Weiteren hätte man die Möglichkeit gehabt, seine Kleidung in einer Waschmaschine zu waschen, was auch sehr praktisch ist, wenn man mit wenig Gepäck verreist. Auch der vorhandene Balkon war ein Pluspunkt. Die Aussicht auf die gegenüberliegende Hausfassade war zwar nicht sehr schön, aber auch nicht tragisch. Auch erwähnenswert ist natürlich der vorhandene Parkplatz im Parkhaus, in das wir nach einem Anruf auch direkt geführt wurden. Super praktisch, wenn man sich vor Ort ein Auto mietet und es geschützt abstellen möchte.

Der Abfluss im Bad hat ab und an stark gestunken und die Bettdecke im Schlafzimmer war nicht ganz sauber. Ich denke jedoch, dass das übersehen wurde.

Bett, es hat sich angefühlt, als wäre Plastik über der Matratze, wodurch man viel geschwitzt hat und sehr laute Geräusche beim sich drehen im Bett gemacht hat. Unangenehm für den Partner, der vielleicht geschlafen hat.
Die Mitarbeiterin kannte die Ausstattung der Wohnung nicht sehr gut und wirkte unbeholfen. Auf Abfrage wo es einen Wäscheständer gebe, wusste sie keine Antwort. Wir haben später einen gefunden.
Das Klopapier war zu wenig, wurde aber auf Nachfrage nachgeliefert.

Great place and located right next to the hospital. The place is very large and has a big kitchen! The bed is very comfortable and the shower is strong. It’s decorated very nicely and the appliances are all very modern. I came to Funchal to do some activities for a few days, it was about a 20-30 min walk to the CR7 museum and to find good restaurants - the walk is pleasant and safe as I had to meet by this museum at 6am with no cab available as a solo female. The area is not as nice as downtown but I didn’t have any trouble.

Wohnung im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Toaster funktionierte nicht einwandfrei und die Schlafcouch für zwei Personen anzubieten bei einer Breite von 108cm ist eher ein schlechter Scherz.
Mit der Kommunikation war ich nicht zufrieden. In der Wochenmitte wurde eine Reinigung durchgeführt die am Vortag angekündigt wurde, jedoch nicht wann genau. Somit kamen wir gehen 16:30 zurück und es wurde noch immer geputzt. Weiters funktionierte kurzzeitig die Therme nicht und wir hatten kein Warmwasser. Nachdem meiner Freundin nicht geantwortet wurde habe ich mich noch einmal gemeldet. Das Problem wurde schnell behoben jedoch ohne unsere Zustimmung, dass jemand Fremder in unsere Wohnung darf während wir nicht anwesend waren.
Check-Out und Check-In haben aber hervorragend funktioniert!
Alles in Allem eine gute Wohnung in guter Lage (Parkplatz inbegriffen -top!). Als Paar mit Kind empfehlenswert, jedoch als Gruppe wie wir es waren würde ich die Finger davon lassen.

Unbedingt zu empfehlen, da die Unterkunft nur 15 Minuten fußläufig ins Zentrum ist und die sich Garage im Haus befindet für die längeren Ausflüge . Ein Lift fährt von der Wohnungstüre bis runter zur Garage👍

Parking space in the underground garage also quite useful.
One negative note the matterasse was not up to our standard

Helaas was onze buur vrij luidruchtig, tot in het midden van de nacht, precies of een olifant waggelde van de ene kant naar de andere. Het bed was zeer oncomfortabel en te klein voor twee personen. De locatie was wel degelijk dicht bij de stad en voor de mindere mobiele mensen is er een busstop. Al bij al toch wel wat ontgoocheld.

Logement sympa et bien équipé. Il faut par contre monter une bonne côte quand l'on revient du centre ville (environ 15-20 minutes de marche).
Par contre, le logement est sur une route bruyante et on l'entend bien dans l'appartement.

The welcome was great and made sure we had everything we needed, the apartment itself is located about a 10/15 min walk from the centre of the town which doesn’t feel like too long to walk. Would highly recommend

This is our second visit to Andre’s apartment and we were not disappointed. Location is great for enjoying all of Funchal’s amenties and restauarants. Flat was really clean and has all the benefits of being at home. We will definitely be back next year for our third visit

We stayed in the apartment during our holidays in Madeira. We really loved the interiors and functionality of the apartment. It has everything you need during your visit on the island.
It is just a few minutes walk from the town and the parking space was a bonus for us. Apartment is also located in a very convenient place if you have a car and you want to travel around the island (just few minutes from entrance/exit to the motorway).
It was a great choice and we really enjoyed our stay!!!

The apartement was very nice, modern and clean. We stayed there with my family (parent and brother) for a week and it was a great choice! The location is perfect, communication with André and Carolina was also very nice and fast. They even gave us some tips for places we shouldn't miss.
The only thing I would mension is that the bed in the livingroom is quite small for 2 people. For a couple or 2 children, it would be probably fine, but for friends or older siblings it's just not enough. But besides that I have nothing to complain about. :) Big thanks to André and Carolina once again!

Fantastic base for exploring Madeira. Modern and trendy with everything you would need. Lovely balcony with sea view. Walking distance to Funchal.
Carolina checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very hot but she provided a fan when we asked which helped. It is still hot though!
We would recommend this place for your visit to Madeira.

Nur kurz Schlüsselübergabe mit einer Service Kraft, ansonsten Andrè nie gesehen.
Wir haben uns dafür aber mit anderen Gastgebern anderer Jahre getroffen.
Alle Sitzgelegenheiten sind aus Plaste und sehr hart. Der kleine Sessel ist etwas für Kinder. Sehr kleiner Kühlschrank und nur im bücken zu bestücken . Für den Preis sollte ein Geschirrspüler und eine ordentliche Kaffeemaschine mit mehr als 2 Tassen drin sein. Dann auch etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck.TV nicht einen deutschen Sender. Am Abend hatten wir dann einen regelmäßigen Besuch von Massen von Ameisen in der Küche. Keine Schallschutzfenster , aber Straße und Fluss. Aber sehr sauber und alle 7 Tage Reinigungsservice
Wohnung gut ,Möbel aber nur für Junge Leute und kurz Urlauber . Nicht wie wir für 5 Wochen

Andre's apartment was absolutely as described on the website. Very clean, central and well equipped. We loved the fact that there was safe underground car parking, that we could go out for the day and then come back and walk into Funchal in the evening. This is a residential area of Funchal - the tourist area is set away from the town. That is what we wanted - when we are on holiday we try to be 'locals' not tourists.
Check in was easy - Marta met us at the apartment and showed us everything.
We hope to come back in the not too distant future and would absolutely stay in the flat again.

André’s appartement is exactly as you can see on the images: a wonderful place with tasty modern design. My husband and me stayed the full week during our winter holidays. The place is not perfectly in the center, but in a walkable distance. We enjoyed the flat because it offers a garage if you have rented a car.

Die Unterkunft ist für zwei Personen perfekt. Auch in einer guten Lage, wo man zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus (5 min) im Zentrum ist. Wir hatten auch einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz der in dieser Lage wirklich wichtig war! Wir würden jedesmal wieder kommen - Preis-Leistung wirklich super! 😊

The apartment has everything for your needs. Good facilities, clean, though there is no hand soap or cleaning products in the bathroom. We had to buy wipes to keep everything clean. The shower only has enough hot water for one, then it has to be allowed to heat up again. Up a very steep hill from Funchal, but there is a bus stop 20 feet outside the apartment. Buses run regularly until late.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le parking souterrain privé.
Inconvénients:
Ne se trouve pas dans un quartier très agréable
Bruit important (circulation et rivière) nous obligeant à garder les fenêtres fermées.

Santa Catarina I apartment is an excellent option 5 minutes from the heart of the city. This place has all the facilities and is very well equiped. Parking is an important commodity, is very quite and has a nice side view to funchal harbor. Very clean and confortable, nice decoration!
I recommend and would stay again!
