Close to the beach, promenades and a shopping center, this nice apartment has a balcony with sea view.
How about staying in an apartment with sea view and close to beaches, promenades and a shopping center with great stores, supermarket and movie theater?
This nice apartment is located in Ajuda, one of the tourist/housing areas of the city of Funchal. Close to the sea and promenade, this property is perfect to relax after intense days of discovering the charms of our island.
With two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, and a pleasantly decorated living room, this property has a maximum capacity of four people.
From the living room or the balcony you have a beautiful view of the blue Atlantic Ocean.
The apartment is fully equipped with all amenities and has a free parking space.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this apartment is close to a pleasant promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, stores and the shopping center Forum Madeira, which has several international brands and movie theaters.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight yourself with our gastronomy or with international cuisine. Besides the closest options, you can also go to Funchal city center (five minutes by car) where you will find a larger variety of restaurants.
Praia Formosa beach is about two kilometers away from the apartment, perfect for swimming and sunbathing on the pebble and black sand.
TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about 2 minutes from the house. For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be a transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.

Hello Christine, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay, it is indeed unfortunate that you had a few mishaps with bugs, unfortunately this is quite normal in Madeira due to the borderline tropical climate we have. We treat all our flats for pests regularly, thus finding dead ones mean that the treatment is working. We always intervene when these situations arise and try to fix the situation. Do not recommend despite the price and location

The area where the apartment is located is one of most sought after areas in Funchal to live and is surrounded by many hotels. Meaning this a very lively area in the City. I do not recommend as they cooperate with taxi drivers which may ruin your holidays

Regarding the issue with the taxi driver, we would like to inform you that we have a contract with an external taxi company that work with several taxi drivers. Unfortunately, we can't control the behaviour of each taxi driver in this company, however, we will inform the taxi company that they should reprimand this driver to avoid similar situations in the future with other guests. About the cockroaches, we live in a tropical island and, unfortunately, this kind of pests can appear. After your comment, we started desinfecting the areas inside the flat to avoid this issues in the future a, fortunately, we have the situation under control. Once again, we appreciate your comment and for pointing out what we need to improve because allow us create a better conditions for next guests and provide you a better experience for the next time that you come to the one of our properties here in Madeira Island!
