Located in the countryside, this stone house is perfectly renovated. A good option for both winter and summer vacations. The country air is perfect for relaxing and escaping the stress of everyday life.

With an eclectic decoration, where the combination of different styles are in perfect harmony, this house stands out not only for privileging the natural light inside, but also for having a very pleasant outdoor space.
Inserted in the middle of the green rural environment and with a view that goes from the sea to the mountains, sun beds, swing and barbecue. For the colder days, the living room has a salamander and a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
With two bedrooms on the upper floor, both with double beds, and a sofa bed in the living room, this property sleeps a maximum of 5 people.

AREA
The house is located in the western part of Madeira Island, specifically in Arco da Calheta, a parish in the municipality of Calheta. As it is situated in a rural area, nearby, about two minutes walk, you will find a grocery store. Twelve minutes by car from the historical center of Calheta, you will find a supermarket, bars, restaurants, an artificial yellow sand beach and the Porto Recreio da Calheta.
Near the house you will find the Miradouro das Florenças, which you can visit on foot or by car and where you can enjoy the incredible view over Arco da Calheta and the sea.
A 15-minute drive away, you will find the Rabaçal Belvedere and the trails where some of the best known levadas start, such as Levada das 25 Fontes, Levada do Alecrim and Levada do Risco.

The city of Funchal is about 45 minutes away by car.

HOW TO GET TO
The best option to reach the house will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the street.

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.
