An apartment in Garajau, fully renovated, on the top floor with a balcony and a full sea view, equipped with all amenities. Located in a quiet area, close to bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, a few minutes away from the Cable Car and the Garajau's beach.
This is a renovated apartment, with simple and modern decoration, situated on the top 5th floor of a building with a lift located in Garajau, located on a hill that enhances a magnificent sea view. This is a T2 property, which has two bathrooms with showers and two bedrooms: one master bedroom with a double bed and another one with an ensuite bathroom with a single bed convertible into a large double bed. The living room has cable smart TV, a comfortable sofa bed (can sleep 2 children or one adult), a dining table and a nice balcony with an unrestricted view of the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, a fridge, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. This property has a maximum capacity of 5 people.
WI-FI available in all rooms. The Internet is suitable for online work due to a fibreoptic cable, ethernet cable connectivity in the living room and in the smaller bedroom which may be used as an office. The Internet speed is 300Mbps and the connection is stable.
There is a reserved car parking space in the garage in the basement of the building. Also, there is a playground available in the common area of the building.
AREA
The Garajau area is known for its peacefulness and proximity to the sea. Situated between Funchal and the airport, it has various services and restaurants close to the property. There is also a beach and a short trail next to the Cristo-Rei monument, as well as a cable car with a direct access to the beach, which is Garajau Partial Nature Reserve where you can enjoy diving and snorkelling. Renting a car at the airport can be a good option to discover the island at your own pace. Moreover, there is a car rental office (8 minutes walking distance) in Garajau as well.
The centre of Funchal is within a 10-minute drive from this property.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 7 minutes walk from the apartment.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz.
All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.
