This modern and exquisite 3 bedroom villa, with garden and infinity pool, offers a family and cozy atmosphere in a quiet area, ideal to enjoy moments of full relaxation during the vacations.
This dream property offers three suites with double bed, private bathroom and balcony with a superb view, on the upper floor. Still in this area of the house, you will find a room equipped for physical exercise, a games room, and an outdoor area with a lounge space.
On the lower floor, the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living area and office area in open space provide a feeling of great space and comfort. On this floor, there is also a guest toilet and access is made to the outside, where you will find a pleasant garden, an infinity pool (with possibility of being heated), sun loungers, a relaxation area and a dining area.
The sublime view of the sea and Funchal, as well as the fantastic sunset, provide an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility for those looking to enjoy a totally revitalizing stay.
This property offers a very comfortable family environment and all the necessary amenities for an unforgettable stay.

AREA
The property is located in Lazareto, a very quiet and sunny area, just minutes away from the Funchal city center.
It is close to the Miradouro do Lazareto (viewpoint), Barreirinha’s beach, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal-Monte cable car, Lavradores Market, restaurants, bars, local shops and other services.
In Funchal's city center there are several touristic points of interest and information about cultural activities, radical activities, and nature-related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

My family and I had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Close to Funchal and easy to access all parts of Madeira in a couple of hire cars.
The facilities were exceptional and everything we could have needed was available.
The pool is great, garden spacious and living quarters maintained to a high standard.

Dies war mein dritter Aufenthalt in einem Ferienhaus auf Madeira. Ich wollte diesmal in der Stadt sein. Die Lage war für mich einmalig. Blick auf den Hafen, jeden Tag zumeist drei Kreuzfahrschiffe die gekommen sind. Der Pool, die Liegen und die Außenanlagen war zum genießen und wohlfühlen. Die Nähe zur Stadt hat den gewünschten Effekt gehabt. Bestes Essen, kurzweilige Ausflüge und schöne Spaziergänge. Hin zu Fuß und zurück meistens mit dem Taxi für unter 10 Euro. Die Architektur des Hauses ist gut durchdacht. Die Fassade macht einen bedenklichen Eindruck. Wenn man über optischen Mängel hinweg sieht ist das Haus eindeutig zu empfehlen.

Casa molto bella e corrispondente alle foto. Piscina bellissima e ottima vista dalle camere. Le uniche note che devo menzionare sono l’assenza di alcuni oggetti per pulire che non dovrebbero essere richiesti all’host (es. Aspirapolvere, paletta per la scopa), le maniglie di tutte le porte e di tutti gli armadi…veramente scomodissime e tutte noi ragazze ci siamo fatte male alle mani per utilizzarle e infine potevano esserci più utensili per la cucina. Per il resto tutto benissimo!

The home is high on a hill, modern and very clean. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic

Waren zu fünft mit einem Kleinkind zu Gast. Eine fantastische Villa, in der man wirklich schön entspannen kann. Extrem ruhige Gegend mit tollem Ausblick auf Funchal. Einziges Manko waren die sehr harten Matratzen der Betten und die fehlenden Handtuchhalter in den Bädern. Ansonsten alles top. Würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

A wonderful villa to stay for some relaxation. We were blown away by the amazing sunsets in the evening - world class. The villa was immaculate, a 5 minute drive to the Mercado and Old Town, and a very comfortable place to spend a week. We swam a couple of times a day in the pool, whilst relaxing in the sun drenched patio. I couldn't recommend this villa enough.

We had an amazing time here. The views are amazing, and the sunsets are a dream. The villa was as imagined, the pool just brilliant and a speedy 5 minute car journey into the old town where there are many bars and restaurants. Reid’s Palace for a G&T is only ten! Great villa and highly recommend.

Beautiful view. Overall a great place to stay. Very large. Very modern. Great patio. Pool was nice. Garage is huge! Getting there is a little challenging down a bunch of narrow streets but that is everywhere. Would recommend a car rental if staying here. Not very walkable. Kids loved the place. Host is very helpful and responsive.

Aus unserer Sicht ist die Villa in die Jahre gekommen. Die gesamte Fassade ist beschädigt, das Inventar in Teilen stark abgewohnt und sollte ersetzt werden. Die Duschen sind teilweise geschimmelt. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut!
Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes Probleme mit der Waschmaschine und dem automatischen Tor - beides wurde umgehend und schnell behoben.
Alles in allem würde ich es auf Grund des Zustandes des Hauses nicht als Luxusvilla bezeichnen und auch nicht wieder buchen. Es fehlte an gewissen Kleinigkeiten.
Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes Probleme mit der Waschmaschine und dem automatischen Tor - beides wurde umgehend und schnell behoben.

Vi er en familie på 2 voksne og 3 børn.
Vi havde et vidunderligt ophold i villaen. Udsigten kunne ikke fås bedre, og er med længder den flotteste udsigt vi nogensinde har boet med.
Poolen var et hit for børnene og trappen ned i poolen er dejligt sikker for de mindste, når de skal i vandet.
Villaen er særdeles veludstyret og vi manglede ikke noget. På facaden fremstår villaen en smule slidt/ufærdig, men ikke noget der forstyrrede vores ophold. Indvendigt er villaen i top og er i rigtig fin stand.
Rengøringen var super flot og vi følte os straks hjemme.
Værten var nem at få fat i da noget af fitnessudstyret ikke virkede, og de sendte straks en tekniker ud for at reparere det.
Beliggenheden er kun 5 minutters kørsel fra det centrale Funchal, og hvis man lejer en bil har man den luksus at man kan køre direkte ind i villaens egen P-kælder.
Vi kan varmt anbefale denne villa til andre.
Vi havde et vidunderligt ophold i villaen. Udsigten kunne ikke fås bedre, og er med længder den flotteste udsigt vi nogensinde har boet med.
Poolen var et hit for børnene og trappen ned i poolen er dejligt sikker for de mindste, når de skal i vandet.

We really enjoyed the Villa...with a few minor improvements, it would be close to perfection. The Villa itself is spacious and well equipped, with an excellent stereo system and aside from having more light switches than one could count, it was difficult to fault. A few minor additions; more tea towels, better pillows etc would be helpful but didn't detract from our enjoyment.
Outside, the pool is a very good size...around 5ft deep and the kids loved it. It was heated but could do with being a little warmer, especially in the morning. Some parasols would be useful, there isn't really anywhere to hide from the lunchtime sunshine. The view is exceptional and having dinner out on the terrace (Uber deliver) looking over Funchal is difficult to beat.
The location is around 2km to 3km from the centre of Funchal down a reasonably steep hill so Taxis were essential to keep the kids happy but were reasonably easy to arrange and only cost circa 7 to 10 euros each way.
An Island Apart were excellent, always available via Whatsapp and I would certainly recommend them.
Overall, we loved it and will certainly consider returning next year.

This has got to be the best AirBNB on Madeira. It's a beautiful, amazing place. The view alone is incredible, you get the bay and the sea during the day and the lights of the town at night (it also faces the sunset). The villa is brilliantly designed to take full advantage of the view. Super-clean and very classy inside, everything is high-end, instead of a normal toaster you get a fancy retro Smeg one. The villa was so nice we actually spent most of our time there, but it's only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Funchal. This is along a narrow, winding road with no pavements, but there is a bus service (no. 40) which goes right past the villa and into the town. When we did go, we walked in and then took a yellow cab back, it was about 7 Euros. The villa is also about a 20 minute cab ride to the airport. An Island Apart are a very professional setup, they were extremely helpful, responsive and flexible. We had a fantastic time here and were very sad to leave.

Вилла хорошая, дизайнерский ремонт, стоит своих денег (примерно 2200 евро за 5 ночей). Шикарный панорамный вид на город с каждой комнаты. Все было для комфортного проживания. Прекрасный двор, зона барбекю. К центру 20 минут пешком.
На фото вилла немного лучше чем в реальности. Вилла уже не новая и начинает сыпаться. Видно что строительная компания делала не качественно. Несколько фасадных плит при сильном ветре отпали при нас. Проблемы с выключателями, они то работали, то нет. Выбивало несколько раз автомат, я сам нашел и включил. Бак с горячей водой был поставлен на минимум 30 градусов и ванну нельзя было принять. Тоже нашел бак и сам поставил температуру выше, другое дело. Ну и двор был не ухожен, не покошенная трава и было неудобно ходить по тропинкам. Было только 2 пляжных полотенца, хотя я указывал что 3 человек на заселение.
Но в общем отдыхом доволен.

We were not able to check in, house number was wrong on listing. The checkin person was not able to tell us directions and kept saying they would call us back. We used satellite earth to see where the house was on this very steep hill. I would not suggest if you are not able to drive properly with manual up and down hills. Upon arrival several outlets do not work. The pool was freezing and unusable, the pool cover did not work. There were no towels upon arrival for pool, bath towels dirty and yellow. Loud construction in the valley from 9am to 4pm daily. The internet would kick us off every few hours and not allow us to log in. Overall this stay we would not recommend or suggest to stay. There is parts of the building that are falling off and do not work. Dryer does not work in. We left with wet clothing. Definitely new to airbnb with a lot of things they can do to make it more clear and easy for someone staying.
