Three-bedroom villa with a relaxing atmosphere and sophisticated decor. Located in the highlands of Ponta do Sol, with stunning views of the valley, garden and pool, for an unforgettable vacation on Madeira Island.
This 3-bedroom villa is located in the highlands of Ponta do Sol and is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing stay on Madeira Island. With a capacity to accommodate up to 6 people, this spacious house offers the comfort and privacy you need for your vacation.
As you enter the villa, a spacious living room, decorated with a modern and cozy touch, welcomes you. There are three elegant bedrooms, each with a double bed and two bathrooms with a shower. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals to enjoy in the adjoining dining room, which overlooks the garden.
The outside space of this villa is truly enchanting, with a well-kept garden and a small swimming pool for a refreshing dip on warmer days.
In addition, the villa offers private parking, providing convenience for those who choose to rent a car and explore the island.
The location in the highlands of Ponta do Sol offers a breathtaking view of the valley, with truly inspiring scenery.
Please note that this villa does not accept children, which makes it especially suitable for groups of adults.
AREA
The house is located in the southwest of the island, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. This property is a 10-minute drive from the center of Ponta do Sol, where you can find a pebble beach, several restaurants, cafés and some local stores. In the municipality of Ribeira Brava, which is a 10-minute drive away, you'll find supermarkets, a market, the Madeira Ethnographic Museum and some local shops.
In Ponta do Sol, Ribeira Brava and Calheta you'll find more restaurants, supermarkets and local stores. Take the opportunity to visit Calheta, a 13-minute drive away, where you can dive into the waters off the sandy beach, visit the Marina, the "Casa das Mudas" Contemporary Art Museum and the Calheta Sugar Mills.
Funchal is 25 minutes away by car and the airport is 35 minutes away.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Place is absolutely stunning. We stayed for two weeks and would have stayed there longer. Very cozy, clean, comfortable. Feel of home with incredible nature around. Very spacious and private. Loved the interior, amenities. Place looks even better then on pictures. We could see the stars while laying in bed. Place located very high and slightly isolated which was perfect tranquil for us. We absolutely loved it and wish to come back.

We had an amazing time at the white house and it's a really beatiful place. The only slight downside for us was that it was far up in the mountains and had a really steep and narrow entrance ramp to the property. If you don't mind that, you get an amazing apartment with stunning views and amazing hiking trails close to the place (on our first they we went straight on foot up the road and into nature).

Très bon séjour dans ce logement, très bien équipé, parfait pour y séjourner à 6. Logement très lumineux et disposant d’une magnifique vue. Proche d’un certain nombre de points d’intérêt (Funchal, randonnées, musées, etc.). Seul point d’attention, l’accès en voiture qui n’est pas le plus facile. Nous recommandons !

BEAUTIFUL VILLA! And YES, it’s real 😊! Huge,modern, with everything you need! More beautiful than photos! A lot of place! Villa itself is amazing!
Just few things to know:
1. The road to villa is very steep, I mean VERY VERY steep! Maybe steepest street in all our trip! You need to be great driver and have strong car!
2. Few times we lost electricity and car gates didn’t open/close so we closed them manually.
3. Rooms are not soundproof!
4. Normally is very nice, relaxing place to spent your holidays but every morning we heard a lot of dogs sounds from the forest so we couldn’t sleep well.
But all 5 of us were very happy with this villa choise! Very beautiful and great for the price!

The house is phenomenal. The place is exactly listed in the photos. Everything was great and we had a great stay. Everything was clean and spotless. There's also a gate to the house which made it very secure. The address of the place does not show up in googlemaps so make sure to save the GPS coordinates. I would also strongly recommend having a car to drive up here as it's at the top of the hill. The roads are narrow and steep at times but that's the tradeoff to get a nice location and view.
Pool could be a little bigger but not the biggest downside. Installing air-conditioning would be nice as the house got really warm even during the night and the fans were not as strong in cooling the house down.

As a 'grand design' modern property we loved the spaciousness, privacy and bright interior with the glass walls/doors out into the garden. The house was spotless on arrival and the mid-stay clean was welcome. Dmitri was very helpful as a contact point if we needed him. You must have a car to stay here due to the long steep hill and distance into town. The house is well positioned for accessing all areas of Madeira in reasonable travel time, including the airport in 40 mins and Funchal in 30 mins. Some great restaurants in the village at the bottom of the hill by the sea. Highly recommended.

The check-in was a bit confusing because of the communication made though other channels then Airbnb, but the host responded fast and made everything clear.
We have dropped 2 stars from the overall rating because of the following two aspects.
We chose the location mainly for the pool and decided to go over our budget for this reason.
The host failed to inform us that the pool is damaged and not available prior arrival.
We checked and discovered that other previous guests already mentioned this in a previous review.
The second reason are the beds.
The mattress is practically a soft sponge and you will sleep on the wood frame. The pillows are solid and bend your neck. These items are probably the lowest quality you can buy.
If the host manages to fix these aspects, which don't rise to the luxurious level presented, I would recommend this location.

it was a very pleasant stay at the white house, the only problem ws with the keysvat our arrival and with th pool which was not usable due to a leakage

Die Unterkunft ist super schön und alles noch sehr neu. Man muss nur wissen, dass sie etwas abgelegen ist und man sehr steile Straßen hochfahren muss, um zu ihr zu gelangen. Das war für uns aber kein Problem. :)

We stayed here for 7 nights over the Christmas period. The house was beautiful and comfortable and well equipped. Amazing views. It was a great base for exploring and resting. Communications were great and the hosts were very helpful. You do need a car for this property - there is nowhere within walking distance but that was part of the appeal for us. Also, it is worth getting something with a bit of power, our Citroen 1.2 struggled a bit!

We had an absolutely amazing time in Madeira, and this was a great home base. We liked staying in Ponta do Sol as it gave us easy access to many parts of the island. The house is beautiful, with a lovely view, and we enjoyed being able to eat and drink in the well-equipped kitchen (high-end appliances and bottles of wine available for purchase!) and on the balcony.
If you plan to stay here, I would suggest that you both should have a car (there's virtually nothing in easy walking distance) and be comfortable driving up some steep roads. (Pro-tip: instead of taking a very sharp right onto the street you can drive up, turn around, and then be able to make an easier left hand turn.) Generally speaking, having a car in Madeira is nice and makes it much easier to get around.
