Fantastique maison de vacances avec piscine commune pour une expérience unique entre vin et forêt.
La Casa do Lanço fait partie d'un domaine viticole de 25 000 m2 situé dans une zone de transition entre la forêt de Laurissilva et les terres agricoles de São Vicente. Les vignobles en terrasses abritent les cépages Tinta Negra et Verdelho, qui produisent le célèbre vin de Madère.
La propriété est située dans un groupe de maisons où vous trouverez plusieurs jardins avec des arbres centenaires, dont un grand chêne de plus de 250 ans et plusieurs espèces endémiques de la forêt de lauriers comme les tis, les vinháticos, les barbusanos et les loureiros.
La maison est décorée avec divers détails, dans une fusion entre le classique et le contemporain, qui suit la tradition d'une maison de famille. La maison dispose d'une chambre avec deux lits simples de style traditionnel, avec une porte d'accès à l'extérieur, de sorte que vous pouvez vous réveiller avec une vue fantastique sur la cour et les jardins de la maison.
À l'intérieur de la propriété, vous pouvez profiter de la piscine commune, d'une promenade le long du ruisseau et des jardins ou de la cour extérieure, où vous pouvez prendre le petit déjeuner (non inclus), préparé tous les matins par le concierge. Pendant votre séjour, vous pourrez participer au processus de viticulture au moment des vendanges ou acheter les vins disponibles à la maison.
AREA
La maison est située dans le nord de l'île, plus précisément à Rosário, une paroisse de la municipalité de São Vicente. Comme il s'agit d'une zone plus isolée, il n'y a pas de magasins à proximité de la propriété. À dix minutes en voiture de la ville de São Vicente, vous trouverez des magasins locaux, des restaurants, un supermarché et une pharmacie.
Dans les environs de la maison, vous avez accès à plusieurs sentiers et levadas, où vous pouvez profiter de l'occasion pour vous promener et explorer notre île fantastique à pied.
Si vous voulez trouver d'autres endroits ou activités, la ville de Funchal est à 45 minutes en voiture.

Die Wohnung und das Gelände ist entsprechend der Fotos eingerichtet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Die Feuchtigkeit ist teilweise ein Problem, da es dadurch im Badezimmer immer etwas muffig war. Unsere nassen Sachen haben sehr lange gebraucht zum trocknen.
Ansonsten hatten wir kurzzeitig Probleme mit Ameisen im Schlafzimmer, die aus der Steckdose kamen.
Ein größeres Ärgernis war eine nervige Amsel, denn das Haus und alle Scheiben sind verspiegelt, wodurch sich Vögel von ihrem Spiegelbild "angegriffen" fühlen und ab früh 7 Uhr den ganzen Tag gegen die Scheibe fliegen und hämmern. Ich empfehle sehr, etwas dagegen zu unternehmen, beispielsweise mit einer Folie. Wir haben irgendwann Handtücher vor die Fenster gehangen. Vor den Fenstern und Türen war irgendwann alles mit dem Kot der Vögel verschmiert.

Messer waren stumpf. Waren Ende August da und die Temperaturen abends kühl; ein mobiler Heizkörper war zu wenig, um das große Wohnzimmer zu heizen. Der Kamin konnte nicht genutzt werden, da das vorhandene Holz zu groß war. Automatische Außenbeleuchtung fehlte. Warmes Duschwasser kam nur langsam und zu wenig. Unsere Bewertung bezieht sich auf das Haus Verdelho.

Leider sehr enttäuschend
Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Appartement war leider alles andere als angenehm. Das Gebäude und die Einrichtung sind stark in die Jahre gekommen, es hat sehr unangenehm störend gerochen.
Besonders ärgerlich war, dass die angeführte Waschmaschine nicht vorhanden war.
Der Pool war prinzipiell sehr schön, allerdings gab es nicht genügend Liegen und keinen Sonnenschirm.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war minimal – statt eines persönlichen Empfangs gab es lediglich eine kurze Nachricht, die uns mitteilte, wo der Schlüssel versteckt ist.
Die Eigentümerin gab sich trotz Anwesenheit nicht zu erkennen und die Dame von der zuständige Agentur war sehr nett.
Zudem war unser Aufenthalt durch eine lautstarke Party gestört, die die Besitzerin in ihrem eigenen Haus auf demselben Grundstück veranstaltete. Das hat unsere Erholung erheblich beeinträchtigt.
Sie hat sozusagen während der Zeit dieser Party (ihres vermeintlichen Enkels) die Vermietung nicht gesperrt und wollte auch hier Profit machen.
In der Hausordnung ist jedoch angeführt, dass kein Lärm und keine Partys erlaubt sind.
Besonders besorgniserregend war jedoch die Elektroinstallation. Der FI-Schutzschalter ist mit 300 mA ausgelegt, was in Wohngebäuden nicht zulässig ist und eine ernsthafte Gefahr für die Sicherheit darstellt.
Insgesamt können wir dieses Appartement leider nicht weiterempfehlen!
Für 1200€ pro Woche ohne Verpflegung erwarte ich mir viel mehr!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Seitental und bekommt relativ wenig Sonne (wir mussten Ende April heizen). Daher ist sie tendenziell feucht, und das Badezimmer riecht daher entsprechend. Den tollen Pool konnten wir auf Grund der Temperaturen nicht nutzen. Die zweite Bank am Betontisch auf dem Foto war nicht da, dafür konnten wir den runden Bistrotisch schön auf die Terrasse stellen. Das W-LAN wurde im April komplett neu aufgesetzt, hat aber bei uns nicht nicht getan. Das wird aber bestimmt-der Gastgeber ist dahintersetzen.

The only issue we had was no WiFi throughout the whole visit, they were very responsive but kept saying it was fixed when it wasn’t - if it wasn’t for that it would’ve been 10/10 - I would definitely come here again and hope they can sort the WiFi issue.

Ich hatte mir einen Park vorgestellt, die Anlage ist jedoch klein und nur bedingt zum spazieren geeignet. Es gibt nicht wie angegeben eine Waschmaschine, sondern man kann die Wäsche zum Waschen jemandem mitgeben ( das fand ich störend).
Ich würde das Haus nicht für Winter empfehlen, denn es gibt nur einen Radiator und der heizt den offenen Wohnraum schlecht. Den Kamin durften wir nach zweimaliger Nachfrage benutzen, das Holz brennt aber schlecht.
Hervorheben möchte ich, dass unsere Ansprechpartnerin immer sofort geantwortet und geholfen hat.

The house is actually attached to another one, with thin walls, so you end up hearing everything.
The terrace is also shared so you might end up having people chatting late in the evening or early, in front of your bedroom.
It's a great remote place but if you end up having neighbours, you won't have the quietness that you expect to find there.

Uitzicht was heel mooi.
Heel vriendelijke mensen. De wasmachine was stuk maar in ruil werd onze was voor ons gedaan, gewassen en gestreken en dat helemaal gratis.
De locatie is mooi maar in de nabije omgeving is niet veel te doen. Een auto is een must.

Leider gab es einen Wasserschaden im Badezimmer und Baumassnahmen am Nachbarhaus, die uns vor der Reise nicht kommuniziert wurden. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt beeinträchtigt. Der Betreiber der Anlage hat aber auf unsere Reklamation direkt reagiert und ist uns im Preis fair entgegengekommen.
Die Anlage ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, wir würden wiederkommen.

Everything was perfect. But if you come here, you should be aware that the accommodation in the house has its own specifics. It's definitely colder than a hotel. The bathroom is very cold in the winter months. If you won't chop wood and light a fire in the fireplace, you'll be cold. It is also good to know that the accommodation is conveniently accessible by car. But you can't get here by bus and it's quite a long and uphill walk from the town.

Kleine Abstriche gibt bei der Parkplatzsituation, wenn die Besitzer am Wochenende vor Ort sind,. Dann ist der vorhandene Parkraum zu klein und man muss sein PKW auf der öffentliche Straße parken.

Núria and Fabio were very friendly and helpful. They organized an airport transport for us, which was much cheaper then the airport taxis, even though we asked super spontaneously on the day of our arrival.

The nature around the house is stunning, quiet and there are many places on the property to enjoy the view. Besides, it is a really good starting point for many of the islands famous treks. Thank you very much.

Take into account though, that the cottage is not wholly yours, since there are two apartments in one building. you will have neighbours.
If thats no problem, you will absolutely love this property though!

The place is in the middle of nature and should be a quiet and nice place to relax, normally. However, during our stay there was some big construction work goiing on close to the property, which was loud and annoying for us. But it was only during the day and on weekdays. If you do want to spend quiet time during the day at the property, we would recommend to ask beforehand, if the construction work is still going on or not.
The apartment itself is nice as well. Only the bathroom was a bit dissapointing for us, since it was not exactly as nice as in the pitcures and there was some mold. Should be not too much work to fix it. Hopefully, the owners will fix it soonish.
However, as we said in the begin:
All in all we enjoyed the stay and would recommend others to stay there, too.

The housekeeper, Irina and João, who was in charge of the check-in are super kind! The country house has such a comforting, cozy touch, you just feel at ease!
At arrival (and even during your stay), you feel like you „landed“ in the jungle, except there are no dangerous animals but dog puppies awaiting you.
These cuties were such a highlight for us and our son!:)
They prepared a huge bowl of fresh fruit and local beverages to welcome us, which was very appreciated.
This location is the best ever, but rent a car if you plan to stay in Madeira. There are so many beautiful places to visit in a short time laps. But discover on your own;)
We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature.<3

The cottage is nice and cosy with everything provided, local shops are a short drive away.
I would recommend this cottage to anyone as the scenery is stunning and is a great location to relax and enjoy the island
