Une maison de vacances fantastique dans un endroit calme et paisible avec une piscine et une place pour le barbecue.
Le calme, la vue et la piscine sont autant de raisons de passer des vacances en connexion directe avec la campagne.
Située sur un terrain avec deux maisons jumelles, cette propriété offre confort et bien-être pour vous et vos compagnons. Avec trois chambres à coucher : deux avec un lit double et une avec deux lits simples, la maison a une capacité maximale de 8 personnes, grâce au canapé-lit double disponible dans le salon.
La pièce est grande et a été décorée en détail, en pensant à la fonctionnalité et au confort des invités.
La cuisine, en mode open space, dispose de tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour préparer vos repas.
A l'extérieur, c'est la "cerise sur le gâteau" : une fantastique piscine située dans une grande pelouse où vous passerez certainement vos journées avec plaisir et bonheur.
Un espace comme celui-ci appelle aux longs déjeuners et aux barbecues en famille ou entre amis. Vous pouvez faire vos barbecues quotidiens dans l'excellent espace intérieur, conçu pour les amateurs de bonnes grillades !
Si vous louez une voiture, vous pouvez vous garer à l'intérieur de la propriété.
VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Cette propriété est située à l'ouest de l'île de Madère, dans la paroisse de Ponta do Pargo, municipalité de Calheta. Étant dans une zone plus isolée, vous ne trouverez aucun type de commerce à proximité de la propriété.
À 40 minutes en voiture se trouvent les célèbres piscines de Porto Moniz. Dans les environs, vous pouvez visiter le phare de Ponta do Pargo, qui se trouve à 8 minutes en voiture.
Dans la région de Prazeres, vous trouverez un marché et des restaurants.
Dans la municipalité de Calheta, vous pouvez visiter le musée installé dans la "Casa das Mudas" ou faire un plongeon dans la plage de sable, en plein centre du village. Vous y trouverez un supermarché de taille moyenne et plusieurs restaurants servant une cuisine régionale et internationale.

The location is not great. We were first time on Madeira and didn't know it. The temperature on this villa is 5 degree less then in Funchal. So when we had +15, Funchal had +20 and so not heated swimming pool was not useable. And after fires - nearby forests are all burned and nice. And there is no ocean view from the villa, only from bedrooms on the first floor.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und in einem guten Zustand. Besonders fande ich das nach einer Woche das Haus sogar gereinigt wurde.
Verbessert werden könnte die Beschreibung der Parkplätze Vorort. Wir mussten trotz Fragen wo wir stehen können, mehrmals umparken und wurden von neuen Nachbarn im Nachbarhaus zugeparkt.

Large spacious rooms
The host (Dimitri) was nice and helpful
Almost everything. This being our first time in Madeira I booked this seemingly nice holiday villa with a pool for 2 nights for €618 but unfortunately it was a disappointment.
Apart from the host (Dimitri) being nice and helpful nothing else was positive.
•The villa is in the middle of no where (45 mins from Funchal) with no supermarkets or shops around, a taxi to the nearest shop or restaurant charges €50 each way and food delivery would not agree to come to the area
•The Pool was of no use since not heated (pump not working) in addition it wasn’t clean with algae growing all over (I have pictures).
•There were Ants and flies all over the place (we took a video) the kids could not sleep
•Drainage in bathroom wasn’t working well so after a shower the whole bathroom becomes flooded with water
•Outside the villa there was no light so coming in at night we have to use our phone flash lights to be able to see our steps
Definitely not worth what we paid for.

View from windows and calm neighborhood.
There is camera installed in the living room, this shall be not allowed. Swimming pool heating option was not available although it was an option given by the Owner during reservation ( paid 40 Eur extra a day) . Thus pool cannot be used and this was the key factor to chose this apartment! Alarm was ringing at 04:50 morning due to smoke detector faults, awaking everybody. Coffee machine didn't work, and this was not fixed for the whole stay. Most of the doors shall be greased as they give terrible noise when operated. Contact with the Owner difficult.

We would like to clarify that there are no cameras installed in the living room, as this is strictly prohibited by law. The only devices present are a smoke detector near the kitchen, which may beep if the battery is low, and a noise detector.
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused by the pool heating issue, alarm, and the coffee machine not being resolved during your stay. Your concerns about the noisy doors and communication difficulties have been noted, and we will address them to enhance future guest experiences.

Das Haus und die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die äußerst gute Ausstattung der Küche. Die Mitarbeiter von "An Island Apart" waren immer erreichbar und konnten sehr schnell Probleme lösen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt:)
Was man bedenken muss, ist dass die Zufahrt zum Haus sehr steil ist und fußläufig eher schlecht erreichbar ist. Unser Mietauto hatte Mühe, den Hang hinauf zu fahren. Zudem ist der Pool nicht beheizt und kann zu kühleren Jahreszeiten kaum benutzt werden.
Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in Ponta do Pargo und der Unterkunft.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt:)

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der tollen Unterkunft! Das Haus ist super sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht :)

Beautiful, new home! We loved using the pool and bbq. Knocked off a star because we all had to sleep downstairs as the upstairs was too warm. Easy to visit friends in Paul do Mar and even Porto Moniz.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus mit Blick auf das Meer in einer ruhigen Gegend der Insel, perfekt zum entspannen und erholen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hat immer reibungslos und schnell funktioniert. Die Möglichkeit, dass über den Gastgeber ein Transfer (Flughafen-Unterkunft), bei Bedarf, zusätzlich gebucht werde kann ist ebenfalls ein toller Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Krásné prostředí, čistá kuchyně, najdete zde i kávu, olej, sůl a pepř.. Myčka i pračka včetně prostředků. Hostitel nás sám kontaktoval. Jediný problém je parkování přímo u branky do domu, je malinké, takže pokud máte větší auto, bude potřeba parkovat venku. Jinak za nás 10/10.

We loved the spaciousness of the property, it was very clean and everything we could have needed.
We did find the property quite cold due to inclement weather. The air con unit did blow intermittent warm air but we feel it was faulty as it only worked occasionally.

Taj jak na zdjęciach. Spokojna okolica. Trzy małe sklepiki w wiosce na dole. Dom bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Pralka, zmywarka. Zostawione detergenty. Kominek i jadalnia zewnętrzna. Zestaw ręczników do łazienki i do basenu. Było nas siedem, od razu dowieziono dodatkowy zestaw pościeli.
Klucze można odebrać samemu lub ktoś poczeka. Są 2 komplety kluczy i pilot do bramy. Jeden samochód można zostawić pod samymi drzwiami, drugi (w razie potrzeby) na drodze wewnętrznej, już za bramą na pilota.
Lokalizacja GPS źle pokazuje (dom wcześniej), trzeba pojechać ostro pod górę do samego końca drogi. Pierwsza brama otwierana na pilota, druga ręcznie.
SMS powitalny i łatwy późniejszy kontakt telefoniczny w razie potrzeby.
Nie dotykać białego kwadracika - głośnika (załączyłam zdjęcie) . Można przez przypadek uruchomić alarm.
Zdjęcia robione po pobycie, więc już nie wygląda tak ładnie jak na wejściu.
Dodatkowa opłata za ogrzewanie wody w basenie. Najlepiej zgłosić przed przyjazdem, ponieważ potrzebują na to 2-3 dni.

In the self-check-in description it is clearly explained the operation of both gates. The High curb already has a platform to prevent situations like this from happening as can be seen on the property pictures.

La villa est exceptionnelle loin de tout certes, ce qui oblige à faire de la voiture mais c est le jeu. Par contre une fois à la villa le calme et la vue si vous avez la villa du fond. Les couchés de soleil sont incroyables.
L’équipement rien à redire moderne propre et cerise sur le gâteau ménage intermédiaire et final compris dans le prix.
Nous pensons y retourner afin de finir les visites que nous avons pas eu le temps de faire.

Location was fantastic. Property and pool were great. Super Levada walk down the road. Wonderful rural location which is what we were after (may not suit everyone).
A heads up about entering the property via the key box to get the gate opener to access the road to the property with a vehicle. A couple of issues we had were dealt with extremely quickly.

Maison très cosy, neuve et très bien agencée, remarquablement bien équipée - nous avons regretté ne pas rester plus longtemps. Un havre de paix avec une vue sur la mer superbe. Un bon spot pour visiter toute l'ile car prêt de la route rapide qui en fait le tour. Literie exceptionnelle. Epicerie bien achalandée dans le village, et bons restos à proximité. Touche d'attention : Dmitri nous a guidé pour l'arrivée, accueilli avec sourire et moultes informations, et nous a sauvé sur un diner le 25 décembre (tout était fermé à notre arrivée et nous n'avions rien a manger) - encore mille mercis !

Very clean and Dmitry looked after us very well.
bbq wasn’t particularly ease to use and the dishwasher didn’t do the job - needs to be replaced. Also beware, especially if visiting with young kids, that during the winter months that house needs 1-2 full days to fully warm up as it is only heated with one a/c. Also on day 2 of our stay lots of ants appeared in the kitchen and it was somewhat unpleasant - hope this gets addressed v soon.

Big, beautiful, and clean House. Everyone will find a place for himself. Very nice view of the Ocean. The barbecue place was fully prepared. Although it was a little bit higher and a little bit colder the sun was shining in the garden warming it all. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, oven, etc. There was also coffee and oil in it. We really enjoy it all.

The house is very pleasant and it is a pleasure to arrive in a clean house.
It is situated in a quiet location.
The kitchen with a wood-burning oven does smell of fire. This did not bother us as we did not use it.

Wir haben fünf Wochen in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Lage und der Ausblick auf den Atlantik ist toll, auf jeden Fall wird ein Auto benötigt. Der Service ist super, jede Woche wird gereinigt, auch der Pool. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist ausreichend, es sind mehr als genügend Töpfe und Pfannen vorhanden.
Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.

Wir waren mit dem Haus sehr zufrieden. Erstens war die Lage unbeschreiblich mit dem Blick aufs Meer und die Ausstattung des Hauses war auch super. Wir hatten ein Kleinkind (1) dabei und hatten nach babybett und hochstuhl gefragt und es hat problemlos geklappt. Mit dem Auto sind wir sehr gut überall hingekommen. Direkt 5 min von dort entfernt sind auch sehr gute Restaurants gewesen. Das Haus war aber mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet gewesen. Jedoch hätten wir uns einen sehr großen Esstisch gewünscht gehabt. Aber auch so war es zu 5. Kein Problem.

La maison est magnifique. Très bien équipée avec une vue incroyable.
Malheureusement, plusieurs petits désagréments. Les clés n'étaient pas dans la boîte à clefs comme indiqué.
La cafetière ne fonctionnait. Le micro onde tactile ne fonctionnait pas à chaque fois. Des chiens ont aboyé souvent la nuit . Et la piscine n'est pas chauffée si vous ne faites pas au moins 5 jours sur place. Toutefois le personnel est réactif. Attention l'accès est en pente pour les véhicules.

Sehr schön gelegen in ruhiger Lage. Die Schnellstrasse ist in 2 Minuten erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Fotos, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber war sehr gut.

Well-equipped, nice, 2-level apartamanet. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and additionally a room with a grill and a table - a canteen and a summer kitchen in one. The house is situated on the slope, outside the village, so there is complete peace and a feeling of being away from civilization. It was very good for us, because we needed to mute our heads. The only downside is the barking dogs from a small farm, but after 3 days it becomes like a mantra;) We recommend people who do not want to spend time in tourist zones.

Absolute disappointment on my entire trip.
To the point:
1. Check-in was scheduled from 4pm, but when I arrived I saw cleaners cleaning the house. I had to wait until the house was cleaned.
2. The house was cleaned horribly. There were flies, mosquitoes and butterflies on the ceiling everywhere.
3. The house is next door to a similar house also for rent. Guests arrived and started making noise until 2am. I had to call the manager at night, but only in the morning I was informed that the guests had been spoken to.
4. Wi-Fi does not work on the second floor, only on the first floor.
5. The place is very windy and rainy, so you will not be able to use the pool or dinner on the terrace.
6. Constantly barking neighbor's dogs.
I do not recommend this place for any money, even if it would be rented for free.

However you need to understand that, it's a country house and very easy to find bugs other animals. You will always be welcome at our properties :)

Casa bien equipada, con vistas estupendas, totalmente nueva y muy limpia. El jardin y la zona de la piscina muy bien cuidada. Estuvimos 8 noches y seguro que si volvemos a Madeira repetiremos en el mismo alojamientos.

Las vistas al mar, la zona donde se encuentra localizada la casa es excelente: muy tranquila, rodeada de bosque con vistas al mar. Las instalaciones de la casa son todas muy nuevas, un casa diseñada con mucho gusto, muy bien equipada. Muy limpia, camas comodisimas. Sin duda repetiremos.

ADOREI!! A casa tem excelentes condições, espaçosa, muito limpa, organizada, bonita, moderna, bem decorada, bem equipada. A piscina é ótima, limpa e com uma temperatura excelente. Corresponde a 100% com o que é anunciado aqui no booking. Recomendo vivamente a estadia neste alojamento. Zona solarenga e tranquila. Foram uma férias incríveis.
Gostei de tudo. Apenas quero fazer referência a duas situações: a falta de privacidade no nosso jardim, por ficar ao nível do caminho que fica junto à casa e o barulho/ latir dos cães à noite, que estão acorrentados na propriedade em frente à casa!!
