Appartement rénové d'une chambre à coucher, avec piscine et à seulement 5 minutes de la plage, dans la zone touristique du Lido de Funchal.
Récemment rénové, ce bel appartement d'une chambre à coucher, au style simple et moderne, est parfait pour des vacances à deux ou à quatre.
La propriété dispose d'une chambre à coucher avec un lit double et d'une grande salle de bains équipée d'une douche, dans des divisions différentes. Le salon, la cuisine et le balcon sont reliés entre eux dans un espace ouvert à l'atmosphère articulée et fonctionnelle. La cuisine est équipée et partage la salle à manger avec une partie du salon, ce qui la différencie de ce dernier. Le canapé se transforme en lit, il est donc possible d'ajouter deux personnes supplémentaires à cette propriété, pour un total maximum de quatre personnes. Sur le balcon, l'espace invite à un agréable moment de détente en compagnie d'amis/famille, d'un bon café et/ou d'un bon vin.
Au sommet de ce bâtiment calme et ensoleillé, vous trouverez une piscine, partagée par la copropriété, où vous pourrez profiter du beau temps pour vous baigner, au milieu de la zone touristique du Lido de Funchal !

ZONE
La propriété est située sur l'Estrada Monumental/Rua da Casa Branca, juste à côté du centre commercial Monumental Lido, à 3 minutes à pied de la piste cyclable et à 5 minutes à pied du complexe balnéaire et de la promenade du Lido. Il s'agit d'un quartier privilégié car il se trouve à proximité de courts de paddle, de jardins, de restaurants, de bars, de boutiques et de services, ainsi qu'à 7 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Funchal ou à 30 minutes si vous choisissez de marcher.
Le centre ville offre de nombreuses attractions touristiques et activités pour tous les goûts (activités culturelles, activités radicales, activités de nature).

La meilleure option pour se rendre à la propriété est le transfert. Demandez-nous d'en réserver un auprès de nos partenaires locaux. Il est moins cher que les taxis que vous trouverez à l'aéroport.
Si vous louez une voiture, n'importe quelle application de navigation peut facilement trouver l'adresse.

- Tous les draps et les serviettes sont fournis. Nous pouvons également fournir un lit pour bébé, une chaise haute et une baignoire pour bébé si nécessaire, mais vous devez en faire la demande. Il y a une trousse de premiers secours, des extincteurs et une couverture anti-feu dans la propriété.
ATTENTION
Veuillez noter qu'une taxe touristique sera facturée à toutes les personnes qui passent la nuit dans la municipalité de Funchal. Ainsi, tous les clients séjournant dans des stations touristiques et/ou des établissements d'hébergement, âgés de 13 ans ou plus, devront payer 2,00 € par personne/nuit, jusqu'à un maximum de 7 nuits et un maximum de 14,00 € par personne/séjour. À votre arrivée, vous recevrez un lien pour payer cette taxe municipale.

Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. Ruime kamer met een fijne ligging. De host is vriendelijk en reageert snel. Ook een probleem met de deur werd vrijwel direct opgelost.
Het is erg gehorig, wat niet handig is met veel overlast van de gasten van de nachtclub die eronder ligt. Ook hing er een hele muffe lucht in de woonkamer/keuken en de hal van het gebouw. De kamer is erg vochtig.

A nossa estadia foi bastante positiva.
O ruido da principal avenida não nos incomodou uma vez que somos residentes em Lisboa.
O único apontamento a ter em consideração é de facto a necessidade do edifício necessitar de intervenção a nível de esgoto, cujo cheiro se faz sentir principalmente nas zonas comuns do edifício e um pouco no lava louça do apartamento. No entanto, nada de transcendente.
A localização é a ideal.

The apartment was in a very good position. Very handy to some very good restaurants. Very modern apartment with small balcony which had a front wall .When sitting down vision was restricted.
Bad points- Awful smell which I had read about by another guest but ignored.This smell is of mould/drains in the kitchen seemingly in the walls behind the leaking sink and outer walls in the corridor.
Apartment very noisy with traffic.
Not enough good quality towels and kitchen towels.
Lounge curtains filthy.Need washing.
Very hot during the night but cannot open windows due to noise.
Enjoyed holiday but not the apartment.

O alojamento está numa localização muito boa, perto do centro (de carro), rodeado de supermercados e restauração.
Está bastante equipado para o habitual dos apartamentos: maquina de lavar roupa, aspirador, tábua de engomar, os utensílios necessários para a cozinha.
O barulho.
As janelas deixam passar todo o ruído da rua (onde passam bastantes carros e motas) o que torna as noites desconfortáveis.
Outra situação desconfortável, mas que não depende deste alojamento, são os vizinhos (não percebemos se eram de outros alojamentos locais existentes no mesmo andar - queremos acreditar que sim), a meio da noite andavam pelos corredores a bater nas portas e a tentar abrir todas as portas (inclusive a nossa).
Não sabendo se há possibilidade de melhorar estes aspetos de isolamento de som o apartamento melhorava consideravelmente o conforto dos seus visitantes.

Apartament w świetnej lokalizacji, z pełnym wyposażeniem. Blisko market, przystanek i mnóstwo restauracji. Do centrum Funchal 30min spacerkiem, natomiast z pod mieszkania jeżdżą również autobusy. Tak naprawdę nic nam nie brakowało. Świetny basen na dachu z którego można podziwiać okolice. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Dużym plusem jest również prywatne miejsce parkingowe.
Jedyny minus to dość duży hałas z ulicy, ale tylko przy otwartych oknach.

Oltre l'odore nauseante di fogna costante non siamo riuscite a dormire perché sotto la finestra c'era un club di spogliarelliste aperto dalle 2 alle 6 con gente ubriaca che urlava e faceva casino. Inoltre quando ci siamo lamentate che il divano non fosse letto con materasso ci hanno portato un materassino da mare gonfiabile per 1 persona. Abbiamo dovuto comprare detersivi e spugnette per pulire il bagno e anche per lavare i piatti che erano incrostati. Quando abbiamo chiesto di pulire casa ci è stato detto che se non ci andava bene potevamo pure andarcene. Ovviamente non avevamo alternativa ma non mi sembra il modo corretto di risolvere problemi.

We passed a great travel in Funchal but we noticed different problems in the appartement. When we got there the host didn’t say to me this facts :
First, there was electric breaks, power cut (5 times for 9 days) Secondly, the doorknob of the room was broken, so one day i´ve been blocked in the room. The doorknob could only get open from outside. Third, the water of the bathroom was dysfunctional. The water turned suddenly from hot to cold water. We had also a problem with the sound of the appartement. there was a noise detector. 2 times, i receveid electronic messages which said to me that we makes a lot of noises. But my friends and me were not at home and when we were there we were just watching movies on TV. i’ve tried many times to get in contact with the host Joana in order to understand but she never answered to me. The host should have told us the différents problems and about the noise detector. I suspect for a caméra, in general, one doesn't go without the other.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. It’s a great location, lots of restaurants nearby and close to the sea. It is directly above a gentleman’s club that’s open 10pm-6am. We weren’t too disturbed by it, but I think it’s worth knowing in case this would make anyone feel uncomfortable.
The apartment itself is roomier than the photos look and we had the rooftop pool to ourself most days, which was amazing.
Issues were resolved really quickly. Overall a great stay and would recommend and return.

We had a lovely stay here. The check in instructions were clear and helpful, and the host was always responsive and made check in very easy for us. The apartment is a great size and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the underground parking was ideal. As others have stated in reviews there is an unpleasant smell which we tried to get rid of by having the windows open, but it never completely went away. It did also get quite noisy on some nights which was a little disruptive, but mostly fine. It was a 30 ish minute walk to the town centre but there are a number of restaurants and shops immediately nearby. Great for a shorter stay we would say. Thank you for hosting us.

het appartement is recent gerenoveerd in een oude appartementsblok met wel wat problemen, alles ruikt nogal muf, in het appartement staan er verschillende parfumverstuivers om dit te proberen oplossen. vlak onder het appartement is er een gentleman's club gevestigd die open gaat om 22u en sluit om 06u en dat geeft heel wat geluidsoverlast. leuk en groot genoeg appartement met jammer genoeg enkele nadelen

Convenient location, near the ocean, bus stops, shops, car rental, excursion point. There is a direct bus from the airport to the house. This apartment looks OK in the photo’s but they do not tell the whole truth.
I’ll start with the good points; the bed is comfortable, the kitchen appliances are of good standard; the apartment is centrally located for public transport; restaurants etc.
Now here is the rest- The smell in the apartment is absolutely VILE. The agents know there is a problem because there are 8 air fresheners in the small living area to try and mask it. Shame the batteries had stopped working, or the perfumed liquid had run out. There appears to be major issues with the sewage system just outside the apartment building as the local water/sewer company had the manholes up twice in the time we stayed. As for the smell. I suspect that there was a cracked pipe allowing the sewerage smell to permeate the apartment. It meant that windows had to be left open all the time, day and night, or the vile smell made you feel sick. Leaving the (single glazed) windows open is problematical as the apartments sits right above a “Gentlemans Club”. This opens from 10p.m. until 6 a.m. The “clients” of this club exit at all hours of the early morning and are usually very drunk, loud and congregate just below your bedroom window. Given the type of club they have frequented the “clients” were swearing and making lewd comments in a variety of languages. Once the “clients” move on, usually between 2:30-5:00 a.m. the staff exit. They talk and laugh whilst waiting for lifts/taxi’s and some slam car doors or rev up their motorbikes. This is 6 nights a week and it is impossible to sleep until after the club is closed. The pillows were stained and disgusting and you could smell them if you closed the door to the bedroom. I bought new ones. Sheets were unclean and we had to strip the bed, was h and dry before using after the intermediate clean. If you still book this apartment after this review then you need to seek help. It is the WORST accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Het appartement was prima, compleet volgens verwachting! Geweldige locatie met barretjes, restaurants en supermarkten kortbij. Huurauto kon geparkeerd worden in de garage. Goede smart-tv aanwezig in het appartement.
Geboekt vanaf 16 uur, bij navraag via de app was eerdere aankomst om bijvoorbeeld bagage alvast neer te zetten niet mogelijk. 16 uur gevraagd aan de Host: Eerder afleveren van bagage was mogelijk geweest.

Echt een hele mooie week gehad dankzij dit mooie appartement op een zeer goede locatie.
Geboekt vanaf 16 uur, bij navraag via de app was eerdere aankomst om bijvoorbeeld bagage alvast neer te zetten niet mogelijk. 16 uur gevraagd aan de Host: Eerder afleveren van bagage was mogelijk geweest.

Very happy with the property, its set close to great restaurant options and its an easy walk back into Funchal central. The wifi was great and we were able to work using the connection without any issues. Would happily stay here again.
The only negative would be that the street can be a bit noisy at times so bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise at all

The apartment is in a good location. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Bus stop to the city center is nearby if you don't want to walk. The apartment itself is quite nice with outside roof swimming pool. The host was always available and after a late flight let us into the apartment at 1:30 AM. There wasn't a manual check-in available. The only reason I am giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was a little pricey for the value and for some reason there were weird smells in the kitchen and bathroom from time to time. Overall it's a good place to spend a few days.

Clean, new, accessorised apartment. The private parking was very useful. We stayed one week, everityng was perfect. You have also the possibility to use the pool on the rooftop.

Bien situé. Un peu bruyant en soirée mais il faut s’y attendre car la localisation en au centre du secteur touristique. Plein de restaurants à proximité. Plage à proximité. L’hôte nous a donné un excellent service à l’arrivée et lorsque que nous avons accidentellement oublié les clés à l’intérieur du logement le 2e jours. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Well equipped apartment, you can find everything for comfortable staying : washing machine, coffee machine, iron. Bit there is no air conditioning, we were staying in August and it was hot a little bit. Private parking, everything was clean, quick replies from the host. Nice experience!

Wir konnten bereits um 14 Uhr in das Apartment. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns das sehr bequeme Bett.

Der Türgriff zum Bad ist kaputt, weshalb man die Tür nicht schließen konnte. Sehr schade denn die Wohnung ist optisch sehr schön.

Nice flat, really close to Funchal city center (15-20mn walk). Room was very clean. A bit noisy at night but nothing too bothering. The pool was a nice addition !

The apartment is like in the pictures and equipped with everything we’ll need. A very clean, nice, new renovated, located close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable for us. Communication with host was good. The free garage, where we could park our car was very useful for us :-) The only thing, that was quite unpleasant, was the smell of sewage in the kitchen. The smell was especially felt when we returned to the apartment in the evening, because the windows were closed. If it wasn't for the unpleasant smell in the kitchen, everything would be wonderful.

The apartment is close to many excellent restaurants, the seafront, and the local bus service. It is however located at a busy intersection so noise can be an issue. The unit is bright, modern, spacious and well equipped for short or longer term stays. During our stay there was however an odour that came from the building’s plumbing system and infiltrated the apartment in the area of the kitchen sink. If this can be fixed and noise is not a big deal then this apartment ticks all the boxes for an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Funchal. AIA are a good company to deal with and they were quick to respond to any questions we had.

A clean, good size apartment on a busy street but conveniently located close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is located on the first floor so unfortunately, you can occasionally hear the noise from outside despite closed windows. Communication with host was good. One of our bed sheet was missing and the host reacted very quickly and brought it despite the late hours. We also appreciated the garage where we could park our car.
The building where the apartment is located needs maintenance, the wall paint in the corridors peels off and there is a smell of sewage (unfortunately also present in the apartment's kitchen). The apartment had an air freshener which I personally found opressive.

Perfect apartment for a stay in Funchal, it was close to both the city as well as beaches and lidos. The rooftop pool has a great view and we seemed to be the only ones using it! We were working remotely from the apartment and the wifi was great and had no issues with two of us taking video calls. The apartment was well stocked with essentials such as coffee, oil, shampoo and pool towels. We had a couple issues with the appliances as I think the apartment needs a larger electrical connection but the host was very responsive in getting someone in quickly to take a look.

Clean and bright apartment in a good location, short drive from Funchal. It was especially convenient to have a parking space (though bare in mind the parking space was a squeeze for our 4 wheel drive). The pool was a lovely feature, and we enjoyed the view overlooking the city. The only thing that could’ve been better was that the shower did not have enough hot water for two showers. Otherwise a lovely flat.

We stayed at the apartment for 3 days and had a pretty good time. Check-in and communication with our host was also very simple. It’s very well located, there is a supermarket downstairs, a lot of restaurants and a bus stop near the apartment. So it was pretty simple to do some day trips with the bus for example to Funchal old town or Levada dos Balcões. The apartment is like in the pictures and equipped with everything you’ll need during your vacations. Especially the washing machine was very useful for us. (They also provide some laundry detergent) The only thing that was quiet unpleasant for us was the smell of waste water, especially in the kitchen & living room. Also it was pretty noisy, especially at night because it’s a pretty touristic area with a lot of cars & motorcycles.
But all in all we had a great stay. Thank you!

We stayed here for a week while working remotely, the place is in a great location close to lots of bars and restaurants and the beach. The apartment is well set up and we had everything we needed for the week and the internet was strong! It’s nice having the parking space as well. The apartment comes with basic necessities such as oil and vinegar, coffee and shampoo which we loved! We had some issue with the appliances in the apartment as I don’t think the electrical capacity in the apartment was high enough, every time we tried to use the oven the power went out, it sounds like this is going to be fixed shortly. During one of these power cuts we also had white clothing in the washing machine and everything came out with black spots on them.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Apartment. Uns hat nur der Abwassergeruch, welches von der Küche aus kam gestört. Dies war nur ab und an der Fall. Uns wurde auch gleich ein anderes Apartment vorgeschlagen, welches wir dankend abgelehnt haben, weil wir die Lage recht gut fanden und schnell zur Abkühlung mit den Kindern ins Lido Pool-Komplex zu Fuß gehen konnten.

Det kunne dog være rart med aircondition.
Vi manglede vejledning til TV og vaskemaskine (skulle have ligget i en skuffe).
Desværre oplevede vi, at der lugtede meget af kloak omkring køkkenet flere gange dagligt og dette blev ikke afhjulpet ved ekstra rengøring.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for the month of August working remote. The space was perfect for the two of us. The hosts were great at communicating and quick to deal with any requests we had! It’s in a very central location so the traffic could get a little bit noisy at times but other than that it was perfect!
