Right in the middle of downtown
Small and very central located; but extremely silent at night!!

Comfortable apartment in a great location
We had a great week in this apartment - everything went smoothly and as planned. An Island Apart were very quick and efficient in confirming our booking and professional and friendly for all communications prior to and during our stay. This is a self-check-in property and it was very easy with good and clear instructions. The apartment is spacious, modern and comfortable – it is at the back of the building so it is nice and quiet (no vehicles and very few people) and has all that most guests will need during a stay – even for those that decide to self-cater for some or all of their stay. Wifi was consistently fast and reliable. It was great to have a good size outdoor space – we had good weather so we ate outside most days. The apartment is in the perfect location in Funchal – good restaurants/cafes/bars are all around you, the seafront is only 2 minutes walk away and the bus station, the cable car station, main shopping streets and the Old Town are no more than 5-10 minutes leisurely walk. We would very gladly stay here again.

Worth the Stay!
I would recommend this apartment for a stay in Funchal. It’s central so you can stroll out in the evenings without worrying about driving anywhere. We were spoilt for choice of restaurants surrounding. Keep in mind you will need to pay for your parking at one of the public parking lots nearby. It’s about 5 euros per day which we thought was fine. Enjoyyyyy!! 🎉🎉

Location fantastic but lacking the few extras for the price
Fantastic location, but unfortunately had a few minor issues which would be easily sorted A dishwasher would be nice and better kitchen equipment The washer leaks, we only discovered this when I slipped in the water and fall. Outside sail awning was broken so when it flapped it knocked everything of the table and kept us awake banging bedroom window and gave no shade I did buy pegs and fix it temporarily No housekeeping and loo roll etc not replaced. Bed very uncomfortable could be bigger and sunk in middle and sides so you rolled together or fall out! Over grown garden next door with rats and lots of unpleasant insects coming into apartment from it. Cockroaches in shower! If two people showed the second shower would run out if hot water. All little things that if sorted would make this a lovely apartment It's got steps up to it, so is not disabled friendly but is in a fantastic location.
