Casa tradicional madeirense, renovada, de três andares, localizada na cidade do Funchal. Com quintal, jardim e churrasco.
Esta casa tradicional madeirense, renovada, de três andares fica perto do centro Funchal, a cerca de 5 minutos de carro. O seu acesso é por escadas, e logo no piso -1 encontra um quarto de dormir com uma cama de casal, uma casa de banho com duche, a cozinha e lavandaria, um escritório e uma sala de estar. No exterior encontra um quintal, duche externo e um jardim com churrasco onde pode preparar as suas refeições ao ar livre. O piso 0 tem dois quartos de dormir com cama de casal, e duas casas de banho privadas com duche. Já no piso 1 tem um sótão com uma sala de estar espaçosa.
Esta propriedade tem a capacidade máxima de 6 pessoas.

ÁREA
Está casa está localizada perto do Estádio dos Barreiros onde diversos jogos de futebol decorrem. Esta propriedade tem uma ótima localização para quem quer ficar perto do centro da cidade do Funchal. Por perto pode encontrar a Levada dos Piornais, o miradouro da Nazaré com vista para a centro do Funchal, e o Jardim da Quinta Magnólia. A cerca de 20 minutos a pé pode facilmente chegar ao Complexo Balnear do lido, e a cerca de 25 minutos pode caminhar até o Casino da Madeira, o Parque de Santa Catarina, e o centro do Funchal onde encontrará outras atrações.

A melhor opção para chegar à propriedade será o transfer. Peça-nos para marcar um com os nossos parceiros locais. É mais barato do que os táxis que encontra no aeroporto. Se alugar carro, qualquer aplicação de navegação encontra facilmente a morada.

Estamos sempre disponíveis para ajudar ou para tirar dúvidas. Faremos os possíveis para acorrer a todas as solicitações. Temos também uma aplicação para os hóspedes com todas as informações importantes sobre a propriedade e outras informações úteis para a sua estadia.

- Conforme a lei portuguesa, todos os hóspedes são obrigados a apresentar um documento de identificação válido. (ex. passaporte, bilhete de identidade).
- O check-in deve ser agendado antecipadamente. Caso não seja agendado num máximo de 48 horas, os hóspedes estarão sujeitos à disponibilidade da nossa equipa.

Informamos que será cobrada uma Taxa Turística a todas as pessoas que pernoitem no concelho do Funchal. Assim, a todos os clientes alojados em empreendimentos turísticos e/ou estabelecimentos de alojamento, com 13 anos ou mais, será cobrado 2,00€ por pessoa/noite, até um máximo de 7 noites no máximo de 14,00€ por pessoa/estadia. Perto da sua chegada, receberá um link para pagamento desta taxa municipal.

We were surprised there was no ‘welcome’ package, which we’ve always found in other rented properties. After a long day travelling there was nothing to drink but water from the tap and no snacks. Nor was there any information about where to buy food or eat locally. So go prepared.
Fortunately we noticed a guest house - Vila Camacho -almost opposite the house which was very welcoming and we used daily for an excellent breakfast and a few times for dinner. The staff were very friendly.

quel bonheur de se réveiller au soleil face à l'océan. La maison est très lumineuse.
Je recommande vivement le restaurant juste en face, dans la maison d'hôtes : il propose des cocktails délicieux à bon prix, une bonne cuisine et des soirées à thème. leur terrasse est super agréable.
l'arrivée dans l'appartement avec boîte sécurisé et la communication avec an island Resort sont très pratiques.
Je recommande vivement et je reviendrais avec plaisir !

A few small things could be improved to make the overall experience better.
- Soap dish or shower shelf in showers
- Extractor fans in the bathrooms
- Basics in the kitchen (eg oil, salt, pepper, til foil, and so on)
- Clearer information about house maintenance (staff turned up unannounced to do laundry) and how to leave the house on departure
- Deep clean the living room, as it had a very musty smell

Free safe gated parking and fairly easy to access most of island for sightseeing.
Bbq and outside area very nice but not used as we only stayed a few nights. House is suitable for 6 people to be comfortable. Bed and breakfast opposite handy for cocktail or snack. Nice garden area. We would stay again if owners sort one little problem which we addressed privately

There are x5 air con units in the house which are fantastic, We used the kitchen facilities quite a bit and every single time the power at the house cut out and we worked out the air con units had to be turned off before being able to cook, this was the only inconvenience that needs addressing.
We would happily return!

The only thing which was missing was the remote control for the garage entrance. Without it was a little bit tricky to handle the car and park out of the narrow dead-end street.

Niestety w naszym przypadku nie mielismy kluczy w skrytce wiec musielismy czekać aż Pani przyjedzie i otworzy nam dom, nie dostaliśmy też pilota do bramy więc nie mogliśmy korzystać z miejsca parkingowego na posesji. Jednak pomimo to zdecydowanie warto było. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z wyboru i szczerze polecamy!

We can't call this location really walkable but there are bus stops relatively near by and if you rent a car you are going to be alright.
The host was very responsive and allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful ❤️
The backyard is really nice. Our 3yo daughter enjoyed running there.
We rented this property because our other rental got cancelled and luckily we could book this house instantly! It took us a while to get to the property because there are two streets with similar names close by so we really recommend asking for a GPS after you book this house.
We can really recommend this property!

Es gibt ein tolles, großes TV-Gerät, ist aber sehr kompliziert zu bedienen in Bezug auf Kabelkanal bzw. Videothek. Man muss mit 2 FB hantieren und es gibt leider keine Bedienungsanleitungen. Es wäre schön gewesen, am Abend einen schönen Film anzusehen, aber leider...
Ich habe mehrmals versucht die Kontaktperson anzurufen - nicht einmal einen Rückruf,
Im Außenbereich sind am Abend leider einige Riesenkakerlaken herumgelaufen. Durch ein Lüftungsgitter von der Waschraumtür im UG direkt ins Freie sind diese Viecher auch in das Haus gekommen. Sehr unangenehm.....

As for the unwelcome visitors, we understand your concern about the cockroaches. Please note that due to the tropical climate in Madeira, these occurrences are unfortunately not uncommon, despite our best efforts to manage them. Nonetheless, we will redouble our pest control measures to minimize any such encounters in the future.

Raumaufteilung ist gut, Matratzen etwas hart, Badezimmer gut ausgestattet und die Küche ausreichend. Der Garten ist leider etwas klein…Wir haben mehrere Tage gebraucht um die unzähligen Lichtschalter richtig zu bedienen - war unlogisch angeordnet und ein Ratespiel.
Leider sind die Nachbarhunde am Abend und in der Nacht sehr aktiv und bellen. Mit offenen Fenstern schlafen ist schwer möglich. Leider haben wir in der Waschküche und am Grillplatz im Freien riesige Kakerlaken vorgefunden. Die kommen wohl aus der Nachbarschaft, sind aber trotzdem ein Problem für dieses Haus. Die Waschküche hat eine Tür direkt ins Freie und besteht aus Metalllamellen wodurch diese nach außen hin offen ist. Hier kommen die Kakerlaken wohl und den Raum und von dort in die Küche ….
Das große und tolle TV-Gerät ist unbrauchbar wenn man nicht Portugiesisch spricht. Es ist uns nicht gelungen einen Film oder ein Programm auf Englisch zu finden. Gebrauchsanweisung - Fehlanzeige. So hatten wir an den Abenden viel Zeit zum Reden….
Leider hat auch die Kommunikation mit dem lokalen Ansprechpartner nicht funktioniert. Wir hatten versucht ihn mehrmals telefonisch zu erreichen - leider erfolglos. Und auch kein Rückruf. Schade!
Insgesamt eher eine Enttäuschung. Das Problem mit dem Nachbarhunden kann wohl nicht so einfach gelöst werden, das mit den Kakerlaken IM Gebäude schon.

We will take into account the issues you mentioned and fix it as soon as possible. As you can understand, somethings are out of our control, such as the neighbor dog and the insects outside of the property. We disinfect our properties so it won't happen, but if the property is open, it's normal insects to come in.
We give always instructions for everything in the property on the guest area which every guest have their own.
