Lovers of movement and city life will love this friendly and refined penthouse, situated in the heart of the city of Funchal. Its interior space has been used at its best, in order to offer comfort paired with a modern and careful decoration, that will meet your expectations. The apartment has a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, and a small equipped kitchen. Outside, you can enjoy your meals or take your daily dose of Vitamin D, with a privileged view of downtown architecture and the Cathedral Tower. The property is fully prepared to make you feel at home! AREA Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there is a small cafe just outside the building), shops, shopping centre and supermarket. This flat is situated very close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc.). Barreirinha Beach is about twenty minutes' walk away, where you can relax and dip into the crystal clear waters of the island. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
