This property is situated in the small and quiet village of the 'Reis Magos', known for its calm and pebble beach, much appreciated by locals and tourists.
The apartment stands out for its comfort and simplicity. With two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a living room and two full bathrooms, the house receive a maximum of 4 people.
On the balcony, you will be able to catch your daily dose of Vitamin D, with a fantastic and relaxing view to the Atlantic Ocean.
It has all the amenities to make your holidays calm and relaxing!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
The ‘Reis Magos’ area is known for its tranquility and beautiful promenade, which connects in perfect harmony the sea and the land. The building is situated five hundred meters from this fantastic promenade, ideal for a walk in the summer evenings and winter afternoons or to go to the beach during the hottest days.
You will also find in a walk distance plenty of bars and restaurants where you can indulge in our delicious gastronomy or in international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, in Caniço (five minutes by car) you will find a greater variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and a shopping centre with a medium-sized supermarket.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!
There are bus stops nearby to get you to Funchal.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always at your disposal to help or answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz.
All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.

Wir waren zum 2. Mal auf Madeira und wieder war es wunderschön.
Die Ferienwohnung ist gut eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht, war sauber und hat einen super Ausblick.
Das Personal war freundlich, der Check in problemlos und bei der Abreise mussten wir nur die Schlüssel auf dem Tisch lassen und los geht's.
Aber, es gibt auch 2 kritische Stellen. Die Stellung der Drehgriffe am Gasherd stimmen nicht, zeigen auf 0 und es strömt Gas. Hier immer den Haupthahn zudrehen!
Und beim Duschen gibt es extrem schnelle Wechsel von kalt zu heiß und umgedreht. Da muss man sehr aufpassen!
Die Wohnung hat auch ihre Alterserscheinungen, ist aber eine gute Wahl für den Preis.

Hosts were super responsive via text and flexible with the check in times. we were met by a person who was friendly and quick, the condo itself looks just like the pictures. very clean. balcony was amazing and peaceful. extra linens. shower in the hallway leaked slightly but over all it was great!

Das apartment hat eine gute Lage um den Osten der Insel und Funchal zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung und der Ausblick war wie auf den Bildern und in der Anzeige. Der check-in war sehr flexibel und die Kommunikation gut und schnell. Ich war nur verwirrt, das mir verschiedene Personen über verschiedene Wege geschrieben haben. Aber hat alles gut geklappt. Nach der Buchung verlangt der Gastgeber noch eine Öko-Steuer in Höhe von 2€ pro Nacht pro Person. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Spacious and clean apartment in a good position to explore the island by car (parking spots available). The highlight is definitely the terrace with the ocean view. A rocky beach for a swim is very close, even though the return trip has to be slow and steady.
Very good communication with the host, they waited for us for a very late check in and provided a towels and bed linen change half way our stay.

Very nice and calm accomodation with a parking place right in front of the house. The street in front of the house is quite steep but if you go down you can find a bar, a restaurant and a beach. The next supermarket (with normal prices) is a little bit far away but if you have a rental car, you can easily get there in a few minutes. The accommodation is otherwise exactly like in the pictures with a great balcony.

Excellent appartement !

Très bien équipé et agencé, propre, avec une vue MAGNIFIQUE sur l'océan. Super restos en bord de mer à moins de 5 minutes en voiture.
Plage de galet en contrebas, à 10 min de marche ou 2 min de voiture.

Parfait pour un voyage en famille, pratique pour visiter toute l'île.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement vue sur l'océan, appartement bien conçu avec ses deux salles de bain, rien à redire sur la propreté, situé au dessus de la plage, c'est un endroit calme.
Merci à la dame qui nous a attendu malheureusement nous ne sommes pas arrivés à l'heure prévue retard d'avion et notre GPS ne fonctionnait pas bien pour trouver l'appartement , la dame a eu le bonne idée de filmer tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour accéder à l'appartement, nous avons apprécié.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Wohnung mit tollem Meerblick sehr genossen. Alles war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Was uns sehr gefallen hat, waren die beiden Badezimmer. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und man erreicht verschiedene leckere Restaurants in der Umgebung zu Fuß. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. wir werden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

L'accueil par notre hôte était souriant.
Le logement est calme,est bien placé,proche des commerces et de la plage.
La literie est à revoir car le matelas n'est pas du tout confortable, nous 'e sommes en général pas sensible mais là,le matelas n'est plus du tout de qualité .
Nous avons demandé le lendemain de notre arrivée à changer les transats car les deux présents étaient cassés.... malheureusement nous les attendons toujours....il en va de même pour le parasol... le pied de fixation n'étant pas adapté au parasol de remplacement et vu le vent présent sur l'île, celui ci ne tenait pas...
.c'est dommage car nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse comme espéré, surtt avec des enfants.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung ist gut. 2 Bäder sind sehr angenehm. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber dafür ruhig. In Strandnähe, aber mit steilen Weg. Die Balkonmöbel waren reparaturbedürftig.

Die Wohnung ist geräuming und gut eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist riesig. Es war sehr sauber. Reinigung und Wäschewechsel nach 1 Woche war super. Das Meer und der Strand sind nicht weit, man muss sich nur überwinden, den Berg hinunter und wieder hinauf zu laufen. Gleich am Strand sind auch 2 gute Restaurants. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Die Zufahrt ist extrem steil. Es kostet Überwindung zum Parkplatz zu fahren. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Ohne Auto ist es aber nicht so einfach. Die Sonnenliegen müssten ausgetauscht werden. Der Sonnenschirm war defekt. Insgesamt haben wir uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt und würden sie wieder mieten.

Prostorný a čistý apartmán. Perfektně vybaven. Ocenili jsme i pračku. Po týdnu přišla dokonce nečekaně uklízečka uklidit celý apartman a vyměnit ručníky. Teresa s výhledem na oceán. Narozdíl od jiných míst a lokalit byl perfektní přístup ke koupání a oceán byl rovněž kousek od ubytování. Výhodou bylo i vlastní parkoviště. Nevýhodou bylo autobusové dopravní spojení na větší dálky. Zastávka byla sice jen 1,4 km ale do obrovského kopce. Naopak zastávka do Funchalu asi jen 200 m od apartmánu, což bylo fajn. Na větší vzdálenosti jsme po ostrově tedy cestovali za pár korun Boltem a na cca 7 dní jsme si půjčili auto z místní půjčovny, která byla kousek od apartmánu. Skvělý přístup i cena a nechtěli za půjčení vozu zálohu. Kousek od apartmánu byly dobře vybavené obchody a u pláže výborné restaurace. Určitě doporučujeme toto ubytování.

Bel appartement très spacieux, beau balcon avec superbe vue sur la mer, 2 grandes chambres chacune avec sa salle de bain avec WC. Grande cuisine bien équipée avec petite table pour 4 personnes .

We expected the apartment to be great because of good reviews, but it was better than expected!:) Initially we had some concerns because of the concreate/stone beach next to the apartment, but after visiting most of the island's beaches (including the sandy ones) turned out that ours was probably the best one - good access, good views, good crowd (not too busy, but not too quite as well). Connection to Funchal is good as well - took a taxi a few times (costs 10 Eur during the day, 20 Eur during the night), also tried a bus - 2.2 Eur. Although the trip to Funchal was kind of pointless as we found better food places and more action on Friday nigh in the village than in the city. The apartment also has super easy access to the highway, so it easy to drive to all the hikes you want to take. Oh and the internet if you have to do some work - it was actually 500 Mbs, never seen such fast connection even in Lithuania were it is supposed to be the fastest in EU. All in all, never write reviews but I thought I will write this one as it was brilliant!

The apartment was nice, spacious and clean. The location, however, is isolated. The taxis and delivery could not find it and walking is tough with steep roads. I guess if you have a car, this place is good. All the amenities you need and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Nur Kleinigkeiten: Manchmal Schwierigkeiten mit dem Warmwasser, Matratze im Hauptschlafzimmer könnte besser sein, Kaffeemaschine bzw. deren Kanne nicht ganz in Ordnung.

Große Terrasse mit sehr schönem Ausblick auf's Meer. Sehr ruhige Lage. Nah am Strand. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Gute Unterstützung durch den Vermieter.
Es gab Probleme mit der Warmwasseraufbereitung für das Bad und die Spüle in der Küche. Der Warmwasservorrat war sehr limitiert. Im Master-Bedroom stand bei Ankunft eine der Kleiderschranktüren demontiert neben dem Schrank.

The location was absolutely stunning. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The balcony with the sun-loungers and hammock were lovely and we used the balcony a lot. The apartment was very large and there was plenty of storage and all the facilities needed - we especially liked the coffee machine! It would have been nice to have some basic kitchen items for our arrival, like kitchen roll - in other places we have stayed in Madeira, we have been lucky enough to receive a 'welcome pack' including bread, milk and wine for example.
Unfortunately, the hot water wasn't working when we arrived but the hosts responded very quickly & called out plumbers. After their visit however, water poured out of the gas boiler when we next used the tap! They must have come back & fixed this when we were out that day as it didn't happen again but the gas boiler was very dodgy! It absolutely stank of gas everytime we used the hot water - we had to open all windows & doors in the apartment when the hot water was running, & stay out of the kitchen until the sink was filled with hot water to do the washing up (no dishwasher!). We could only do the washing up when the smell had dissipated. There must have been a problem with the boiler as we also couldn't use more than one source of hot water at a time (e.g. no one could use water anywhere else if someone was taking a shower, or the water would run between freezing cold and scalding hot - very unsafe, esp. for our child). Even when someone else wasn't using another water source, the shower was inconsistent & very hard to get the right temperature as it kept changing between hot and cold (but at least not freezing or scalding!).
In the en-suite bathroom, the shower head holder was very loose, so the shower head wouldn't stay in one place & would spray all over the bathroom if the water was running! We actually had to have showers with one hand, which was really frustrating.
In the main bathroom, the shower door kept coming off the runners, and although we managed to keep putting this back, water leaked everywhere anytime we ran the water. It was honestly unusable...
The pillows in all the bedrooms (we had one each), were very poor quality and lumpy. It was hard to use them as pillows and we had to make our own with towels and rugs!
It's such a shame as the apartment is so lovely and in a beautiful location.

We stayed 11 nights in the apartment and it tells everything if I say that we really felt ourselves like at home. It is very well-equipped, spacious, and the view from the super-huge balcony is absolutely amazing. The apartment is located in a peaceful and silent part of Canico, but in walking distance you can find various restaurants and 2 smaller supermarkets, also the beach is very close. The house has an own underground garage, it is very convenient and simple to park there, we liked it. All in all we were very satisfied with everything and can mention only positive facts.

Appartement spacieux, très propre, et bien situé. La vue depuis le balcon est magnifique, c’est très agréable d’être aussi proche de l’ocean et d’entendre le bruit des vagues. Très bonne réactivité de travel to Madeira suite à nos demandes. Quelques points faibles : pas de lave vaisselle ni d’aspirateur, réparations à mener sur une fenêtre et un volet, et les transats mériteraient d’être remplacés.

This apartment is perfect! The view can’t be beat...to be able to have dinner or coffee out in the patio and stare out to the sea - magical! Our host was so helpful and was really quick to respond whenever we needed help. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of living space. Great location and walkable to the supermarket and a local beach. Loved it!

The apartment is very spacious and clean and has everything you need, the balcony is has a stunning sea view. Thank you for the very nice check in and the various tips for restaurants and things to see and do! We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely recommend this apartment!

Très bonne accueil chaleureux de Carolina, souriante et précise dans ses explications. Appartement spacieux et propre (idéal pour 4 personnes), la terrasse vue sur la mer est très agréable en été. Le fait d'avoir une place de parking s'est avéré très appréciable à Madère où il n'est pas toujours facile de se garer. La situation de l'appartement est pratique pour visiter l'Ile et proche de l'aéroport.
Madère est une très belle ile, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Had a goed stay.Nice view.Small beach just a few minutes walk.Appartement is well equiped and clean.
A lot of places in Madeira have hills,you beter can walk well.
Would definately recommand the appartement.

Le logement est propre et bien aménagé. Nous avons pu apercevoir de nombreux dauphins depuis la terrasse qui surplombe l’océan. Seul bémol : nous n’avions pas été prévenus de travaux qui avaient lieu dans les parties communes de la résidence au moment de notre séjour.
