This apartment is located in Reis Magos, a small village by the sea, known for its beach and promenade.
This large apartment has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. Each room is decorated and prepared to offer the best comfort.
In the living room, the revival furniture combines with the current standarts, where neutral and relaxing tones offer all the calm and relaxation that you need for your vacation.
On the balcony, you can catch your daily dose of Vitamin D, with a fantastic and relaxing view of the sea.
The kitchen is fully equipped, ready for your home cooked meals.
If you choose to rent a car, the property has a parking space in the building.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
The ‘Reis Magos’ area is known for its tranquility and beautiful promenade, which connects in perfect harmony the sea and the land. The building is situated one kilometre from this fantastic promenade, ideal for a walk in the summer evenings and winter afternoons or to go to the beach during the hottest days.
You will also find in a walk distance plenty of bars and restaurants where you can indulge in our delicious gastronomy or in international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, in Caniço (five minutes by car) you will find a greater variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and a shopping centre with a medium-sized supermarket.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!
There are bus stops nearby to get you to Funchal.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always at your disposal to help or answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.
- Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arranged at an extra, affordable charge. The weekly cleaning and the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables will not be carried out for stays of less than seven nights.

ATTENTION
We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz.
All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.

Appartement spacieux, confortable et propre.
La vue magnifique depuis le balcon du séjour. Se réveiller et avoir l'océan juste en face, c'était très sympa.
Très appréciable d'avoir une place de parc dans le garage fermé.
Deux salles de bain dont une dans une des chambres, c'était top.
Équipement nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour.
Assez proche de toutes commodités, mais quand même besoin d'une voiture.
Le chemin qui mène à l'appartement est vraiment très compliqué à faire en voiture. Très raide et avec les voitures de location pas très puissantes cela peut être presque impossible de monter si vous devez vous arrêter en milieu de chemin. Nous avons trouvé une solution pour ne pas être toujours stréssés de faire ce chemin. Nous avons mis le GPS direction le supermarché Pingo Doce Super Cancela et de là nous allions direction l'appartement. Cela nous menait par une autre route beaucoup plus facile à rouler.
Nous sommes restés 6 nuits et aurions apprécié d'avoir quelques linges de plus en réserve au cas où.
Les prises vers le lavabo des salles de bains ne fonctionnaient pas, nous avons dû utiliser le sèche-cheveux dans le couloir, pas très pratique.
De plus, le sèche-cheveux a arrêté de fonctionnner d'un coup après quelques minutes d'utilisation...? Le lendemain de nouveau fonctionnel...?
La télé ne fonctionnait pas, après cela a été réparé, mais nous sommes restées deux nuits sans télé.

Looks exactly as photographed. Very spacious, clean with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and coffee was a nice touch. Loved the balcony and the ocean view. Local cafe/bar was in walking distance with authentic food. Walk to the ocean promenade was great but be prepared to walk back up the steep hill

The apartment is well equipped, soap, washing machine and dishwasher tablets were prepared. Very spacious, good balcony with a great view. For our 6 person family it was a perfect place to stay. The flat is on the 5th floor it is quiet and a good place to stay.
Maintenance of the facilities is required. One of the bathrooms smells, the tap is clogged a bit, the vacuum cleaner not working, the garage door remote not worked (even after replaced the battery), shower heads should be replaced.

Unser Aufenthalt im Apartment war wunderschön. Die Umgebung ist bis auf ein paar freundliche Bars und Tavernen ruhig und friedlich. Die Zimmer und Betten waren sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet.
Leider hatten wir beim Check-In kleine Schwierigkeiten, da kein Schlüssel in der Box hinterlegt war. Das war nach einem langen Anreisetag zwar frustrierend, aber nach ca.40 Minuten Wartezeit konnte die freundliche Mitarbeiterin Joana uns netterweise aufsperren.

The place is big and nicely furnished as presented in the pictures.

We had a problem to navigate the page with all instructions and it was a bit confusing to get to the apartment as the remote to the garage was not working properly. Couldn't find the trash as well. The location is kind of not convenient as you have to walk a very steep way down to any store/restaurant - so you should better have a car or it's gonna be a hike.

As soon as we checked-in the apartment instead of nice welcoming message we got an automated SMS sayin that noise level is too high - which is concerning as we weren't doing anything, we just walked in. Maybe barking dogs from the next door apartments trigger this, as they were loud despite the hours... Anyways, if you have noise detector in the apartment or record any sounds/videos - you should inform the guests about it. This message made us feel very uncomfortable till the end of our stay - as the apt echoed & I was afraid to trigger this message again...

We were group of 3 couples sharing this apartment. It was very comfortable, spacious and with amazing view from balcony. Loved that there was private parking for our car and all necessary facilities.
The wifi connection was weaker in bedrooms, approaching property on a very steep road (requires very good driving skills), a little bit too far from shops/restaurants

We stayed in this apartment for a weeklong trip to Madeira. The apartment had all necessary amenities and was fairly clean. The apartment comes with private parking, making it perfect for those who rent a car to explore the island. The view from the balcony is hard to beat. An Island Apart was also very responsive and always on point.

War eine schöne Unterkunft, genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Leider ist man ohne Auto dort aufgeschmissen, da, wie aber auf der ganzen Insel, es sehr steil hoch und runter geht. In der direkten Nähe gab es auch nicht viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Hunde aus der Nachbarschaft sind leider ständig, zum Teil sehr laut, (Tag & Nacht) am bellen gewesen.
Wie beschrieben, gibt es im Wohnzimmer einen Geräuschmelder, der von 22-8 Uhr aktiviert war. Hier haben wir sehr viele Nachrichten erhalten, dass wir zu laut waren, obwohl normal geredet wurde. Sobald ein Hund gebellt hat, wurde wieder eine Nachricht an uns geschickt und irgendwann mit der Polizei gedroht. Das war wirklich unangenehm! Die Fernbedienung der Garage ging leider auch nach Rücksprache des Vermieters noch immer nicht. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne große Wohnung mit top Ausblick!

Everything was good. Sometimes it was not easy to order a taxi to this place, so we rented a car, there is a place to park a car. And I recommend to take a transfer to the airport that would be proposed by this Airbnb so you will be sure to be in time.

Bel appartement spacieux à double orientation est-ouest et vue mer aussi belle qu'attendue. Très fonctionnel, on s'y est vite adapté. Situé à quelques km de Funchal (environ 15mn en voiture) l'appartement était notre base pour rayonner dans toute l'île.
Seul bémol : à l'arrivée, l'adresse mérite quelques précisions qui sont immédiates sur demande. L'hôte a toujours été très à l'écoute et très réactif, ce qui est tout à fait agréable.

Its an experience to reach this place... you must have car and great in driving 20-30° steep narrow road and both way... every time we reach.. we pray..keys doesnt unlock the door.. use remote to gain access from garage.. place is nice, oven is not there..microwave acts as a oven but not the same thing.. in the night chicken and neighbours dogs make noise... so if light sleeper like me.. get exhausted hiking otherwise this chicken somewhere near will wake you at 3am.. overall was great experience in Madeira and enjoyed..

In short, we can't solve 90% of the problems mentioned in your comment. We can't control the road, dogs and chicken. About the locker of the building main door, you have to make a trick with the key when you put it in the lock... and it works. We have informed the condominium about this and we're waiting for a solution. We'll also consider the oven issue.

Diese Airbnb gehört zu einer meiner Lieblings Airbnb.
Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns ein Video gesendet für den Check-In. Tiefgaragenstellplatz fürs Auto vorhanden. Airbnb hat einen unglaublichen View auf das Meer aus fast allen Zimmern. Zwei Badezimmer die sehr modern eingerichtet sind. Möbel sind alle sehr gemütlich. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Waschmaschine ebenfalls vorhanden mit Tabs und Waschpulver.
Zwei große Doppelbetten und ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Ich kann diese Airbnb jedem uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

- The beautiful view and the appartment itself. It was spacious, quiet,clean and well furnished. There was everything you needed from hair dryer to wine opener.
Very comfy and in a safe area. I definteley would recommend this place!
- It is not a negative point but just a small remark … The access is quite difficult , the road is not the best one and extremly steep hill. You need a good driver and a powerful car.

Great spacious aparment with an amazing view. Three bedrooms with beds of decent size, very clean, good furniture.
Amazing view and balcony, just like the photos or better. Good enough double glazed windows to keep the general noise out. Good hot water pressure; OK kitchen, but no oven. Very good parking spot included right near the elevator

everything was okay! there was just one thing made us disappointed.. It’s written that we can do check-in at 4 p.m.. we arrived the apartment agt 4.30 and there were cleaning the place.. (they said that they will
be done at 6 p.m) and nobody didn’t let us know about this.. So we were really tired and planning to rest and we were needing to wait for them
to finish cleaning..
Except that everything was okay! The wiew from the balcony is amazing! and the neighbours are so nice and helpful!

Our stay at the location was just like expected, to our surprise we had our own parking lot which was great. Funchal was not far from our stay at Caniço and easy accessible by car. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Madeira!

La estancia fue buena, alojamiento muy amplio, limpio y bonito, las fotos tan fieles a la realidad, sin embargo, algunas cosas no nos gustaron:
- Cada vez que he pedido información del check-in previo a la llegada, me han redirigido a su página web con mucha publicidad adicional y dónde buscar la información del check-in no era tan sencillo.
- El impuesto local de turismo tienes que pagarlo a través de un enlace a una página web externa a Airbnb que ellos te facilitan (unos días antes de tu llegada) a te tienes que fiar enlace que te dan, a mí no me ha gustado, personalmente, aunque lo hice sin problema.
-No funcionaba la llave del portal, no avisaron, y acabamos accediendo por el garaje. Al lado de la plaza de garaje hay un coche con cristales rotos y al que bloqueas el paso para salir si aparcas en la plaza.
-El olor a sardinas al entrar no fue agradable.
- La cafetera estaba rota y aunque me dijeron que la cambiarían ese mismo día, la cambiaron el último día, estuvimos 3 noches.

Lamentamos sinceramente los inconvenientes que experimentó durante su estancia. Tomaremos en cuenta su comentario sobre las instrucciones de check-in y trabajaremos en mejorar este aspecto. Su feedback sobre el impuesto turístico es muy importante y valoramos su sinceridad.

Pedimos disculpas por el inconveniente con la llave del portal y el olor al entrar al alojamiento. Estamos trabajando para evitar que estas situaciones vuelvan a ocurrir.

También lamentamos el problema que experimentó con la cafetera. Aunque nos esforzamos por resolver estos problemas lo más rápido posible, entendemos que la solución llegó tarde en su caso.

O apartamento fica situado a cerca de 20 minutos do Funchal e é tal e qual como se vê nas fotografias: moderno, espaçoso e com vista para o mar. Além disso também tinha lugar de estacionamento, o que foi ótimo pois é uma zona de difícil estacionamento e numa subida íngreme.
Como ponto negativo, de destacar o exagero no controlo do ruído após as 22h.
Mas em resumo, recomendo imenso este alojamento!

Appartement très bien situé confortable et très bien équipé. Place de parking très appréciable.
Gros bémol sur le Check in. Nous sommes arrivés à 16h30 pour récupérer l’appartement celui ci n’était pas prêt. Il ne l’a été qu’à 18h30. Une petite déception car nous étions debout depuis 6h du matin pour notre voyage.
Hormis ce point noir rien à signaler je recommande.

Great stay, very spacious - lots of hot water for showers and kitchen ammenities. We arrived late at night and driving up from the highway was a challenging route due to steep roads and tight turns. The other direction was much smoother. The lock to get into the compound is difficult even with the video the host shared on how to open it - prefer entering through the garage (you just need to get into the unit first before you have access to the garage fob). The hosts are responsive and overall wonderful stay!

Było wszystko czego nam potrzeba, no może przydałyby się pojemniki do lodu.
Niewielka rzecz, a ulepsza życie :)
W kuchni uzupełniony płyn do naczyń, tabletki do zmywarki. W szafce kawa, herbata i pyszna oliwa.

Ancak check-in saati oldukça geçti (16.00) ve evin müsaitliği olmasına ve ev girişe tamamen hazır olmasına rağmen 12.00 civarı giriş talebimizi (ki aslında makul ve erken sayılmayacak bir saat olmasına rağmen) 15 euro gibi bir ücrete tabii tutmak istemelerini iyi niyetli ve dost canlısı bulmadım.

O apartamento é incrível, tem uma vista maravilhosa sobre o mar. Uma sala super confortável e espaçosa.
Só tenho a apontar um defeito: o extrator de ar da casa de banho. O extrator nao tinha interruptor direto, ligava-se quando se acendia a luz, porém não se desligava imediatamente, ficava ligado 10 minutos após. Idas à casa de banho à noite era certo que quem estivesse a dormir, acordava.
Se o extrator fosse devidamente arranjado, um apartamento 5 ⭐️

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und für 5-6 Personen ausreichend groß. Die Lage war super, von dort aus waren wir schnell in Funchal und anderen Teilen der Insel. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und zwei Badezimmer sind bei mehreren Personen komfortabel. Wirklich gestört hat aber der Geruch, der in beiden Bädern aus den Abflüssen kam und sich auch nicht durch Abdecken der Abflüsse verringern ließ! Außerdem war die Lüftung im Bad so laut, dass sie selbst mit zwei geschlossenen Türen dazwischen bis ins Wohnzimmer zu hören war. Zuletzt war es mit dem Schlüssel nicht möglich, ins Haus zu gelangen, da er im Schloss klemmte, weshalb wir immer über die Garage mit Fernbedienung reingegangen sind. Schade, die Wohnung hätte mehr Potenzial!

The view and the rooms were stunning. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and it was quiet and beautiful! The rooster was the best and funniest alarm clock I’ve ever had :D!

Only the bathrooms seem a bit old and worn down, but of course still usable! There’s a weird smell coming from the drains.

Let's start with the view from the balcony - it is stunning.
The appartment is very spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
when we arrived place was clean, but the smell wasn't the best, as if the floor was cleaned with an old cloth. Luckily it went away after we opened the windows.
The bathroom was clean but smelly and that continued throughout the stay. Seems to be coming from the pipes.
No oven available, but a microwave with a grill. Other than that, all cooking equipment was available.
In the middle of our stay the appartment was cleaned.
Parking spot was a plus.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. It has everything you need, even a spot in the parking garage.
Only 15 minute drive from the airport and supermarkets nearby. You can reach every place on the island within an hour.

Excelent apartment but where isn't any cafes nearby. Also the building is placed on hill and any walking around is very hard. Take this into account.

The apartament was very comfortable, clean and big. All facilities on-site: washing machine, dishwasher, iron, hair dryer, full kitchen equipment. Great view from the balcony. Two parking places in the underground garage. Check-in and check-out with no problems.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience here.

The key issue for us was that it is almost impossible to gain entry into the apartment with the keys provided and on several occasions we had to be rescued by the neighbours who opened the internal door which obviously isn’t ideal.

The flat was really smelly and there is clearly an issue with the drains throughout the apartment. Despite the apartment itself being clean on arrival. It is also not possible to have both showers running at the same time.

When we tried to raise these issue via thenumber provided we were given with really dead end responses so it is clear this isn’t properly serviced.

Unfortunately we would not stay again and this certainly isn’t worth the amount we paid. All in all for us this was a rather frustrating experience.

Great place if you’re visiting Madeira and renting a car. Two car parking spots available and very easy to find the location of the property .

Great property with ocean views. Only 15 minute drive to Funchal and 15-20 minutes to the airport.

Plenty of space in the apartment for a family and friends. Well equipped apartment.

Would recommend.

The apartment was really nice !
it was spacious, clean with a really nice view on the ocean !
The apartment is well located, close to the airport and to Funchal (15min by car for each)
There is a parking with a reserved slot, which is useful considering there is. o many place to park the car outside !

The Airbnb host is really helpful and kind, and proactive !
we face an issue with the parking remote and the recycle bin, and the host helped us almost instantly !

One point which is not directly linked to the apartment: there is a dog barking the neighborhood, that can annoy people who are noise sensitive.

To summary : Really beautiful appart, with a wonderful view on the ocean, well located, with a really helpful host !

Everything was great, except one small detail - we had problem, because the key from entrance doors of the building was not working, but there was really nice neighbour who helped us with her keys. Once you get to the apartment you have keys from the garage so you can use that doors instead of the main ones. Communication was great, they respond quickly. Clean apartment, good for 6 people. I would recommend this place.

As described, a car is essential make sure that you approach the property from the inland road and not the coastal road we made the mistake of following the satnav and it wasn't pleasant meeting oncoming traffic on a narrow near vertical road. Once we had the road network in our heads this was an excellent base from which to drive and explore the island. The description claims that they have an oven we were quite disappointed to find they were referring to the microwave and the first aid box was non existent. Other than these minor points we had an excellent stay

We stayed at here for 7 nights in January 2023. The place proved to be an excellent location in a quiet quarter of Caniçal offering breathtaking see views from the balcony. It was extremely spacious for our party of 4, each of us having a separate room and a big living room to share. It was fully equipped with all the facilities needed and designed with exquisite taste. The beds were exceptionally comfortable as was the rest of the furniture in the whole apartment. We loved spending our evenings there with tv on and lovely views outside. Last but not least, it was spotlessly clean too. We would highly recommend the place to anyone wishing to have a great and unforgettable stay in Madeira.

The location is great and apartment has a really great view especially in an early morning. The best place inside was the living room - it looks the same as on pictures, is modern, comfy and spacious. The balcony was our favourite place to stay too.
We didn’t like the lack of cleanliness. The floor was dirty and sticky. There was the unpleasant smell of mold in the bathrooms and the third bedroom (which is located not at the sunny part). The mattresses on all the beds weren’t comfortable. We expected much more better conditions according to the pictures and price.

First of all, most all of Madeira is on hills but there was no mention in the listing about driving up a steep windy hill. The en-suite bathroom fan stays on after you turn the lights off so if you use it at night be prepared for 20 mins of fan noise, which doesn't help at all with the smell, which is terrible. The back king size bedroom has no wifi and the door sticks badly. The sheets in both larger bedrooms are very rough, like burlap. There is no shampoo or shower gel. Other than that it does have a parking spot, there are a few good cafes a short walk up the hill, and the location is close to the airport and Funchal. The bed was very comfortable aside from the rough sheets.

Apartamento muito espaçoso e limpo. Localização não é perfeita atendendo a que fica longe do Funchal e não é central, mas a vista mar compensa. Falta uma máquina de café expresso e as ventax das casas de banho devem ser substituídas já que fazem imenso barulho durante muito tempo.

Das Apartment ist toll gelegen, man erreicht alles schnell. Es ist komplett mit allem ausgestattet was man brauchen kann. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist phänomenal und unser Urlaub war rundum prima. The Airbnb was just perfect! The view was sooo dreamy and the apartment itself was really big (we were 4 people). The apartment had everything we needed, was close to the beach (3 min. away) and when we had a problem, they came and took care of it very quickly. I loved that the communication was so on point. It had 2 Parking spaces in a garage which was perfect. Thank you for hosting us!

Wundervolle Wohnung mit sehr moderner Einrichtung. Alles war vor Ort. Tolle Aussicht, sehr bequeme Betten und eine schöne recht zentrale Lage!

Alles was benötigt wurde, war bereits vor Ort! Wir mussten nichtmal Klopapier kaufen.

Check-in und Check Out absolut unkompliziert und Parkplätze in der Garage ebenfalls sehr gut.

Tolles Appartement, welches wir wieder mieten würden.

The agency was very helpful and answered questions providing all helps needed.
The living room is fantastic. The furniture is new and the view amazing. We even had a Christmas tree. It was very thoughtful from the owner.
The bedrooms have good beds. The closets are old and smell unpleasant. The bathrooms and the kitchen should be also modernised. The furniture in the kitchen is too old and there ants living in it. The bathrooms smells like hell at night.
All in all we had a good stay for a good price.
Who is afraid to ride the hill up is wrong here. The view from the flat compensated for all the inconveniences however.

For everyone who is looking for a perfect place to stay - that's THE ONE! We spent there one week and honestly we couldn't have wished for more. It's located close to the airport, in the neighbourhood there are supermarkets, restaurants and everything what you need. And apartment itself is even better than what you see on the pictures. Amazing living room with balcony with an outstanding ocean view made us fall in love with that place. Apartment was perfectly equipped and clean. Contact with our host Fabio was really good, we always received quick answers and he was always friendly and helpful for us. So if are really looking for a great place to stay - I can definitely recommend THIS ONE. You will for sure not regret it even for one second!

Apesar da localização do apartamento não ser no Funchal, o acesso à cidade é bastante rápido. O apartamento é bastante organizado e confortável. A varanda da sala tem vista para às Ilhas Desertas.
Em relação à limpeza do apartamento estava tudo impecável.
Quando chegamos ao apartamento na cozinha tinha alguns utensílios como azeite, sal, pastilhas para a máquina da loiça, as quais, agradecemos atenção do anfitrião.
As indicações enviadas pelo anfitrião foram fáceis e úteis para o acesso ao apartamento.
A única sugestão seria terem mais toalhas de banho à disposição para trocar, uma vez, que o apartamento tem máquina de lavar roupa para quem queira usar.

Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Dierekte Nachbarn teilweise in den Abensstunden sehr laut.

A lakás számunkra, csecsemővel, minden igényt kielégített, tisztaság, rendezettség, modern lakásfelszerelés, tökéletes sötétítési lehetőség, nagyméretű ágyneműk.
Majdnem teljes kilátás az óceánra. A közelben (autóval) több nagyméretű üzlet. A vízparton kiépített strand kellemes vendéglőkkel.
Fel kell készülni a szűk, kanyargós és sokszor nagyon meredek utakon történő vezetésre.
Kicsit nehéz a szálláshely megtalálása a hagyományos utcás településekhez képest.
A gázkazán 2 db góliát (R20) elemekről működik, ezért a lakás átvételénél rögtön meg kell győződni, van-e melegvíz. Szerencsére a sarki bolt nyitva volt és kaptunk elemet a lemerültek cserélésére.
