This accommodation has a comfortable living room with two sofa beds, cable TV, space with dining table and natural lighting. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and private bathroom with bath and the other with two single beds. In the common area there is also a social bathroom equipped with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a dining area, laundry and storage area.
The access to the balcony is through the living room. In this outdoor space, you can enjoy a good coffee while enjoying the city landscape.

AREA
This property located in Rua 5 de Outubro, Edifício 5 d' Outubro Residence, is next to the main accesses connecting the highway, which connects the east, west and north of the island, as well as the streets that give access to the downtown.
The flat is a 10-minute walk from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal. From here, you may explore on foot the several touristic points of Madeira's capital (Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Sé Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...).
In addition to these facilities, the accommodation is close to the "La Vie" shopping centre and offers a number of essential services, such as: several shops; cafés; hairdressers; pharmacies; restaurants; and a medium-sized supermarket.
You can also find information on cultural activities, radical activities and nature-related activities in the centre of Funchal, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

You have access to all areas of the property.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Apartment was spacious and very clean. It was modern and nicely decorated. Had a small balcony which was nice. Great facilities including washing machine, dishwasher and lots of different pots pans and equipment, although we didn’t use them as we ate out.
Was nice to have 2 bathrooms and 2 hairdryer.
We were happy with location and was closer to the centre than I had thought from reading previous reviews.
Only thing was the beds in the second room were a little uncomfortable.

Fijn appartement met alle voorzieningen die je je kan bedenken! Het was fijn dat je even op het balkon kon relaxen en dat het appartement niet erg gehorig was. Het enige minpuntje waren de bedden en kussens in 1 slaapkamer en een kleine douche. Echter was het bed en de douche in de tweede slaapkamer helemaal goed waardoor het voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen aan te raden is!

The building itself is very private and quiet. There is outside noise from traffic but that didn’t bother us. At night we turned on the AC, in the bedrooms only, which was very quiet, well maintained or brand new, and this made sleeping pleasant. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was a welcome place to come home to. Well located. Would stay there again. Excellent greeting at checkin and we didn’t arrive until about 930 pm.

L'appartamento è molto bello e funzionale, molto curato nel design e gli spazi sono ben pensati e arredati. Ha tutto quello che serve per trascorrere il soggiorno nel migliore dei modi, ha tutte le comodità di casa propria ma in un isola splendida con un clima meraviglioso. L'appartamento è posto in una zona centrale ma raggiungibile con la macchina, ci sono diversi parcheggi nelle strade vicine oppure un grande parcheggio sotterraneo proprio sotto il palazzo. Il centro di Funchal è proprio a due passi, l'ingresso della tangenziale è vicinissimo, così come sono vicini i principali supermercati, questi aspetti ne fanno una sintesi perfetta di comodità e confort. Se devo dire un aspetto negativo, penso ai materassi che li abbiamo trovati un po' scomodi.

Property is new and modern. More tea towels and dishwasher tablets would help! Kitchen wall tiles need cleaning properly and some utensils were damaged broken (chopping board & bottle opener). Located up a steep hill! With lots of nearby construction work

super location and quiet for being in the city, though we did have to keep the twin bedroom windows shut most of the night due to traffic/motorcycles. beautiful views from all sides! loved that fans were available to help circulate air for the summer months. we were disappointed when we asked if we could check in 45 min early and they sent us straight to a link to pay, but we were eventually given contact to our host Jessica who met us 30 min early without a fee. comfy beds! plus washer and dryer!

Myself and my brother felt very well accommodated. After 2 weeks staying in the apartment it ended up feeling like a home. The facilities were perfect for what we needed during the stay. Appartement très grand et confortable avec de grandes ouvertures, deux salles de bains, un grand séjour avec le balcon, une grande cuisine toute équipée ! Équipement hyper complet : c’est simple ; il y a tout ! Beaucoup de rangement pour les affaires. Literie très confortable !
Possibilité de se garer au parking souterrain dessous pour un prix très abordable (au santa Lucia qui est plus spacieux pour manœuvrer que le 5 octobre très étroit !). Accueil à l’arrivée malgré l’heure tardive. Et juste à laisser la clé et fermer la porte pour le départ.
Juste un détail : les jets massants de la douche qui ne fonctionnaient pas. Sinon rien en négatif !

The appartment is really well located for walking to and from the city, taking advantage of fantastic restaurants, cafes, bakeries etc. Not to mention a walk around the harbour. It is a large spacious two bed appartment with all the amenities you could need, huge TV etc (although we only used it to listen to the radio), view of the sea and the mountains behind. Our host Beatrice was really helpful and made our stay a great one. Thanks

We had an excellent stay at this modern apartment. The host is always responding promptly to our inquiries. The kitchen is well equipped, has everything we needed during our stay. Pleasant balcony with sea view and cruise ships from afar. We will rent this place again for our next visit to Madeira.

The apartment was tidy and well furnished. It's a great location to be able to walk to central areas for food or heading out for the day. Beatrice was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived even though we arrived ahead of check in time and had expected to have to kill time. She was super friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do. We would happily recommend or return.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and can only recommend this place. Great flat with big living space, very well equipped kitchen, nice rooms and bathrooms. Close to the center, in a quiet area. Parking is 4€ per day just under the flat so it is convenient. We stayed 10 days and they did an intermediate cleaning.
The only minor issue was that it was hot inside, no AC but there’s a fan ;)

It is a spacious and modern fully equiped apartment. Those who enjoy the city more, it is a walking distance to the center and restaurants. There is a nice balcony as well to have a drink or eat on fresh air. There is no AC but it was not so hot inside the flat, you can use the ventilators whatsoever. There is a washing machine, dryer and dish washer which was super usefull to us.
The property itself is fine, in a new building, just finding parking even when is free for the weekend is almost impossible, so you must pay for example 4€ per entrance in the underground parkings. I would suggest some hangers in the bathrooms and also vacuuming the floors as we found thise not so clean.

The flat is very spacious, comfortable, luminous and well decorated. It is in the heart of Funchal, appx 8 min walk from the Cathedral. It is situated uphill which provides a nice view on the bay from the terrace.
The flat is well equipped, it has all you need for a perfect stay in Madeira.
There is no free parking available but you can pay for one close by so it was not a big problem.

Fantastic, modern, super-clean and large apartment in the centre of the city, but with views of the ocean. It would easily accommodate 6 people, kitchen was brand new with everything needed to self-cook, except a microwave which would have been handy
