Fully restored villa with a traditional stone facade, located in Campanário, Ribeira Brava, in an area with excellent sun exposure and sea and mountain views. This property is perfect for large families. It is a 20-minute drive from Funchal and has a terrace, barbecue and lounge area.
With its traditional architecture and stone façade, this property is ideal for family holidays. Located near the village centre of Campanário - Ribeira Brava, the property is set in a rural area.
The spacious and recently renovated Casa da Pedra has 2 floors and an annex with a maximum capacity of 8 people. It has 3 bedrooms with double beds on the upper floor, with access to a communal balcony and a bathroom with shower. In the annex of the house, there is a bedroom suite. This room has a bathroom with shower, a double bed and a desk.
On the ground floor of the house, there is a pleasant living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A communal bathroom with shower is also available on this floor.
In the outdoor areas you can enjoy the mountain and sea views or the lounge area, perfect for meditation. Here you'll also find a jacuzzi to recharge your batteries at the end of the day. Finally, there is also a barbecue area equipped with a dining table, ideal for getting together with family or friends.
The property has air conditioning, Wi-Fi available in all areas and a private car park.
Area
Casa de Pedra is located on the west side of the island, in the parish of Campanário, in the municipality of Ribeira Brava.
Explore some of the sights close to the house, such as the impressive 580 metre Cabo Girão, the largest promontory in Europe. Also close to the house is Fajã dos Padres, where you can enjoy one of Madeira's natural paradises. In the parish of Campanário there is a pharmacy, bars and small mini markets. The nearest supermarket is in the town of Ribeira Brava.
Ribeira Brava is 7 minutes away and the city of Funchal is around 20 minutes from the property by car.
Getting around
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

You have access to all areas of the property.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
Other observations
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

Cancelation policy
Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. If the reservation is made less than 14 days before check-in, the cancellation is free up to 48 hours after the reservation, up to a maximum of 5 days before check-in.
After that, guests may cancel up to 5 days prior to check-in and receive a refund of the price per night and the cleaning fee, but not of the service fee.

Man muss wissen, dass die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Haus etwas höher ist, dafür steht aber im unteren Stock ein Luftentfeuchter bereit. Ingesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top.

Les espaces sont grands, propre. La literie est bonne.
Les terrasses permettent de profiter un maximum des extérieurs.
La réactivité et les échanges avec l’hôte sont clairs et faciles.
Nous sommes arrivés lors de la fête du village. Nous avons donc commencé par profiter de la culture de Madère et c’était Génial séjour!

We really liked the house and the furniture.
Everything was nice and as described. Clean, full of dishes and can accomodate a family with kids without issue.
We could also use the wadhing machine which is great even you have little ones that get dirty quite often.
Lovely place, I recommend the Pareleria up the street, above the Igreja, look it up, great bread.
Also don't take the street from below, go around and come from above.
Be sure to have a small car if you want to enter the garage, otherwise just stay outside in front of the house.
I recommend the key box is moved to the right wall as the street was just rebuilt and it's very likely keys can fall on the pot hole bellow the box.
