Elegant city loft located in a luxury condominium in the centre of Funchal. With a private balcony and communal pool on the rooftop of a recently built building in one of Funchal's prime neighbourhoods.
Located in one of the newest and most exquisite developments in the city of Funchal, this loft is perfect for a tasteful holiday on the island of Madeira.
This flat is part of a true masterpiece, based on the carefully planned reinvention of an old regional factory. A flat that is a remarkable example of elegance and good taste. The property offers a modern and functional space, with a bedroom with a double bed, situated on the mezzanine, with a bathroom equipped with a shower.
On the entrance floor, there is a social area with a living room, equipped with a TV and sofa bed, and an open-plan kitchen. There is also a guest toilet.
The private balcony provides a pleasant place to relax.
AREA
The property is located in the center of Funchal, Madeira Island. Take advantage of your stay to explore this town, which offers countless possibilities! Take advantage of the apartment's proximity to the Mercado dos Lavradores. Guests have easy access to various restaurants, bars, stores and supermarkets, including a nearby beach and promenade.
Perfect location for exploring the city on foot (within a 5-15 minute walk of the cathedral, marina, CR7 Museum, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Municipal Garden, Baltazar Dias Theatre, Electricity Museum), by car (parking nearby) and by public transport (bus stop right outside the building). There is a Pingo Doce supermarket in the Anadia Shopping center.
Don't miss the experience of taking the cable car to Monte or the Botanical Garden. You can also walk to the starting point (5-7 minutes).
You should also know that in the center of Funchal there are several tourist attractions and information on cultural activities, extreme activities, nature activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Cancelation policy
Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. If the reservation is made less than 14 days before check-in, the cancellation is free up to 48 hours after the reservation, up to a maximum of 5 days before check-in.
After that, guests may cancel up to 5 days prior to check-in and receive a refund of the price per night and the cleaning fee, but not of the service fee.

Ich hatte einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert – vom Check-in bis zum Check-out. Die Kommunikation war super freundlich und unkompliziert.
Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar: zentral, ruhig und dennoch mitten im Geschehen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind ganz in der Nähe, sodass man von hier aus wirklich überall hinkommt – besser geht’s nicht!
Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und es war alles da, was man braucht. Ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt und komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

The doorman was quite rude. He woke us up one morning at 8 am, ringing the bell because our towels were hanging over the balcony rail. No one said we were not allowed to hang them there. Also rude to my husband about where to park the car. Called me '"your missus" when telling my husband that he told me where to park. Which he did, but I hadn't got to tell where by the time he got to the parking lot.

Faces an office block so there are people working right opposite & you can see each other. Very little natural light as large curtain motor was broken. Small balcony nice touch but no view as the windows face a side street & sun rarely shines on it.
There are 2 fold out sofas and a massive double bed. Lovely bathroom set up with massive shower.
Parking also in basement.
Basics are provided... salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, shower gel...

Unfortunately, the automatic curtains in the apartment didn't work and crucially we couldn't open them manually. After we reported the issue, the hosts ensured it would be resolved. But, despite following up multiple times, it was never fixed and we had closed curtains throughout our stay.

Die Lage ist Zentral und man kann zu Fuß Funchal erkundigen. Essen ist auch um die Ecke.
Das Auto kann man in der Garage lassen, was gut ist, denn es gibt bedingt öffentliche Park Möglichkeiten.
Das Team ist per Chat gut erreichbar und bemüht sich Probleme schnell zu lösen.
Das nächste Mal auf Madeira werden wir wieder bei an Island Apart buchen.
