Les amoureux du mouvement et de la vie urbaine aimeront ce penthouse convivial et raffiné, situé au cœur de la ville de Funchal.
Son espace intérieur a été utilisé au mieux, afin d'offrir le confort associé à une décoration moderne et soignée, qui répondra à vos attentes. L'appartement dispose d'une chambre à coucher avec lit double, d'une salle de bains avec douche et d'une petite cuisine équipée. Depuis le petit balcon, vous avez une vue privilégiée sur l'architecture du centre-ville et la tour de la cathédrale.
La propriété est entièrement préparée pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous !

VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Les clients ont un accès facile à plusieurs restaurants (il y a un petit café juste à l'extérieur de l'immeuble), magasins, centre commercial et supermarché.
Cet appartement est situé très près du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores), du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha") et de la cathédrale. De là, vous pourrez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville. (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

La plage de Barreirinha se trouve à environ vingt minutes de marche, où vous pourrez vous détendre et plonger dans les eaux cristallines de l'île.

SE DÉPLACER
Bien qu'un arrêt d'aérobus pour les arrivées et les départs de l'aéroport se trouve à quatre minutes de marche de l'appartement, nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme la meilleure option pour s'y rendre. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi tout seul à l'aéroport !

Niestety w nocy robiło się bardzo duszno. Było zbyt głośno żeby spać przy otwartym oknie balkonowym a jednocześnie klimatyzacja bardzo hałasowała. Nie było również dostępnej suszarki do ubrań a balkonu prawie nie było więc mokre rzeczy trzeba było rozwieszać na krzesłach. Widok z okna rozciągał się na plac budowy przylegający do budynku.

The Studio apartment was spacious with good comfortable beds, Table Chairs, fully equipped kitchen & utensils. The washing machine facility was also available on the ground floor.
Will recommend staying here if you are looking for good stay in center of Funchal.
The price of the room felt a little bit high. If it was a bit less then we would have felt more value for money. Otherwise we don't have any other thing that we didn't like.

L appartement est très bien situé . Très propre et suffisamment équipé . Juste assez grand pour deux personnes . La literie est très confortable .
Parfois un peu bruyant car en centre ville sur une rue très passante mais surtout en journée donc pas gênant. La vue annoncée n était pas, a 4-5m de ma fenêtre il y avait un immeuble en rénovation . Il serait bon de changer la description . Et le balcon était insignifiant , largeur baie vitrée sur 40 cm. La machine a laver se trouve au rez de chaussée.

At the start place was hard to find because construction site next to it. Easy to get in with given codes. We got 2nd floor and the window was facing that construction, which wasn’t the best but at least no one was working there while we were at home.
Since there was 2 beds pushed together, there was quite a gap and we could not sleep tightly together. But overall bedding and mattress was very comfortable.
Bathroom had powerful hairdryer, shower was big and clean.
We didn’t use, but there is possibility to wash clothes on first floor. Looked like there was available washing powder. Also iron and ironing board.
In kitchen was available kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and even hand blender. Also microwave. Drinking water from tap.
Overall we are satisfied 👍🏽

the location was excellent.
They made me fill a check in form where I stated my arrival time to Funchal, it was during the morning, I reached out to the place and other guests still in the apartment, I get it wasn't time for my check in but then it doesn't make any sense to ask me about my arrival time if I wouldn't have any feedback on the information provided by me. Then I received multiple messages requesting a local payment for a tax per guest, and they considered 2 instead of one (I was traveling solo) I requested for a correction on this since I wasnt willing to pay for 2 since I was by myself and first the administration was reluctant to provide a correct link and after telling I would pay and contact booking customer service they provided the right link telling me I should do this in advance, another thing that doesn't make sense for me, since before of my arrival I was traveling in another location and how is possible I paid taxes in advance? Anyways, I was able to check in at the right hour and the first night I noticed the sheets of one of the beds were smelly, I assumed they didnt changed them, since they didnt have too much time between guests. I didn't tell anything to staff because I didn't want to engage in another situation and just used the other side of the bed, with the other set of sheets. Other than that the place has everything to cook and be comfortable, also the Laundry room is very helpful. Another thing they provide the name and the number of a contact that act as my "host" I reached out to him several times and just answered "sim?" I told him I was arriving that day and there wasn't further communication.

Lage ist perfekt, besser geht gar nicht.
Einwenig mehr entgegen kommen wäre nicht schlecht, mit Koffer abstellen zum Beispiel. Da konnte man schon eine Lösung finden.

Am fost dezamăgit de prezentarea locației care nu a răspuns cu realitatea. Am achiziționat un apartament cu vedere la oraș. Am primit în schimb o singură cameră care avea canapeaua la capătul paturilor și pe care gazdele o numesc leaving. Vederea era la o construcție de lângă. Când se va termina construcția, camera va avea vedere la zidul clădirii de lângă. Pozele cu terasa și vedere spre oraș sunt de fapt de la apartamentul de l ultimul etaj.

Otrzymaliśmy apartament ze zdjęć. Czysty i dobrze wyposażony. W łazience była suszarka z dyfuzorem i żel pod prysznic. W kuchni wszystkie przydatne naczynia do gotowania, toster i mikrofala. Wi-fi działało bardzo dobrze. Widok z mini balkonu na budynek w remoncie i uliczkę z barami, jednak nie przeszkadzało nam to. W nocy było cicho i spokojnie, gdyż bary zamykają ok 22, a sam remont nie był zbyt głośny, zresztą nie było nas przez większość czasu w mieszkaniu. Mieszkanie w samym centrum. Wszędzie było blisko. Sklepy, autobusy, restauracje i autobusy w odległości kilkuset metrów. Bezproblemowe zameldowanie i wymeldowanie. Łatwy kontakt w razie problemów i szybka pomoc ze strony właścicieli. W mieszkaniu była klimatyzacja, ale jej nie używaliśmy. Podczas kolejnej wizyty na Maderze będziemy chcieli tam wrócić.
Malutki apartament, ale na tygodniowy pobyt wystarczający. Jeśli o coś poprosiliśmy, otrzymaliśmy, ale ktoś wchodził do mieszkania pod naszą nieobecność, by to przynieść. Pralka i suszarka do ubrań znajdowały się w pomieszczeniu na parterze, a nie w mieszkaniu. W mieszkaniu było troszkę malutkich robaczków, ale zupełnie nieszkodliwych.

Letti, non é possibile nel 2024 avere letti così scomodi, in più 2 lettini e se sai che arriva una coppia che ti chiede il matrimoniale come minimo metti un coprimaterasso che li unisce, il cuscino piccolo e pessimo plastico e rumoroso, inoltre consiglio che ok le pulizie in stanza una volta a settimana ma il cambio biancheria almeno ogni 2 o 3 giorni

Зручне розташування, все в центрі.
Було все необхідне на кухні для приготування їжі
Була погано прибрана квартира, коли ми засилились( не було одноразових тапочків) довелось ходити босоніж, зразу відчули усі крихти, багато пилу і волосся на підлозі…пил був погано протертий. За 7 днів нашого проживання, жодного разу до нас ніхто не приходив і не прибирав, ніхто не змінював рушники і постіль. Не було місця де посушити одяг. Фото при бронюванні номера не відповідають дійсності, балкону не було, малесенький вихід який не можна назвати балконом. Ліжко теж було не зручне, при бронюванні я вказала, що потрібне двоспальне ліжко, а вони поставили два односпальних і між ними велика про глибина і нам не було зручно спати із чоловіком. Подушки не зручні, були усі зімʼяті і не однакові.

It is also mention that an intermediate clean only happens for bookings longer than 8 days. There is a laundry room for all guests that includes iron, ironing board and a place to hang clothes. We do not provide slippers to our guests nor is this promised.
As for the cleaning we will investigate the situation and take immediate measures to make sure this does not happen again.

the property was clean . had all we needed. in a safe central area. the bed was comfortable.
Instructions on how to use appliances were not there. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable as a sofa we had to take the quilts and pillows off our bed to put on the sofa as the metal frame had little or no padding.

In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man braucht, vor allem in der Küche (Kaffee, Gewürze, Toaster, Wasserkochen, Töpfe/Pfannen, etc.).
Die Lage war super gut, man ist in 2-3min zu Fuß sowohl im Stadtzentrum als auch am Strand.
Es gibt viele sehr gute Restaurants und Bushaltestellen in der Nähe (1-5min).
An sich war die Sauberkeit super. Es hätte nur bei der Zwischenreinigung mal der Boden gewischt werden können, aber das ist wirklich meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, man ist in 2min zu Fuß sowohl am Strand als auch in der Innenstadt von Funchal.
Es gibt tolle Restaurants und Bars (1-5min Fußweg) und Bushaltestellen/Taxistände in der Nähe (3-5min Fußweg).
Bezüglich der Einrichtung war alles vorhanden was man benötigte und wie beschrieben war, besonders in der Küche (Wasserkocher, Toaster, etc.).
Im Waschraum befand sich eine Waschmaschine und es gab sogar Waschmittel zur freien Verfügung.
Das Personal war super freundlich und falls man Fragen hatte, wurden diese innerhalb von ein paar Minuten sofort beantwortet. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte schnell und problemlos.
Die Sauberkeit war super, nur der Boden hätte bei der Zwischenreinigung (nach 6 Tagen) auch kurz gewischt werden können, da uns lediglich ein Besen zur Verfügung stand.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen, da wir im Gesamten sehr zufrieden waren und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis extrem gut ist.

Very good location. Convenient to walk around Funchal. Comfortable beds. The room was cleaned etc mid way through our stay
The room was a bit smaller than we expected. Could have done with an extra socket as we had to keep unplugging the kettle in order to use the toaster.

Jeg bodde her i en periode på 3 uker. Beliggenheten var utmerket. Alt av utstyr i leiligheten fungerte som det skulle. Totalt sett var jeg godt fornøyd med oppholdet.
Rengjøring. Burde vært rengjøring og skifte av håndklær og sengetøy 2 ganger pr, uke i stedet for kun en gang. Gjerne også bruk av støvsuger ... en del støv ble liggende igjen under bord og andre møbler etter rengjøringa. Jeg bodde her i en periode på 3 uker.

Studio/apt 2A. Overall a very nice but small space, adequate for 2. The bathroom was the disappointment, mildew marks on the floor and wall tiles in the shower, which WEcleaned off easily. No toilet brush!! Good location. Little bit of noise from the couple of café bar and cocktail bar below, but didn't lose any sleep.

Die Ausstattung ist top und bietet alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht.
Der Service ist super. Es ist immer jemand erreichbar und es wird bei allen Fragen sehr schnell und super kompetent weitergeholfen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Die Lage war super! Das Ein- und auschecken war sehr flexibel und einfach.
Das Zimmer ist wirklich sehr klein und hat eine kleine Grundausstattung. Ein Balkon wäre sehr schön und eine weichere Matratze (sehr hart).

Skvělá lokalita. Pokoj pohodový.
Sprchový kout špinavý, dlouho nikdo nemyl dlaždičky. Po týdnu jsme měli úklid, tam jsme měli pocit, že bylo vyměněné jen povlečení. Jen nás rozesmála jedna věc.....před úklidem jsme tam měli 2 toaletní papíry, po úklidu již jeden, to jen veselá historka :). Jinak nic špatného tam nebylo.

Excellent location. Very convenient to almost everything. Restaurants, public transport, supermarkets, coffee shop, pharmacy, etc. Will definitely recommend..
The fact that checking in at 16:00 is very inconvenient to vulnerable adults and families with children, especially when you take an early morning flight and reach the destination around 10:00 am.

Excelente localização, no coração da zona velha da cidade, muito próximo quer do centro e de toda a zona de lazer e restauração, quer dos acessos/transfers do aeroporto. Estúdio pequeno, mas com todo o essencial (incluindo os utensílios de cozinha), em óptimo estado, muito limpo e com boa insonorização, sendo uma zona calma durante a noite (o nosso quarto ficou virado para a Rua Direita). Supermercado mesmo próximo. Sem estacionamento na rua, mas com dois parques pagos a pouca distância (5 min a pé, o mais distante). Processo de check in e check out muito simples, resposta breve e eficaz às dúvidas que tivemos. Tem lavandaria, mas não usámos.
Nada a apontar, 5 estrelas.

Die Lage des Apartments ist sehr zentral in der Stadt.
Es gibt praktisch keine Aussicht aus dem Fenster / der Balkontür. Der in der Webseite genannte Blick auf ein historisches Gebäude kann nicht nachvollzogen werden.

beliggenhed var super- ingen larm selvom den lå lige midt i byen - nemt til alt..pænt og rent - fin lille lejlighed

La verdad la estadía estuvo perfecta, tiene lo necesario y muy bien ubicado. Estuvimos en el 2A y todo funcionaba bien, la vista es hacia la calle de atrás, abajo hay varios sitios para comer , recomiendo comer "empanadas venezolanas" en "sabor tropical" al lado del bar madeira.

Me encanto la buena ublicación, tener la marina cerca, el teleférico, abajo hay muchos sitios para comer, hay uno que se llama si mal no recuerdo : 'sabor tropical' al lado del bar madeira, que venden 'empanadas venezolanas' brutales! 😋, las mejores de todas las que probé en Madeira.
La habitacion tiene todooo lo necesario! Quede encantada 😁
Es una tonteria, el tv cable no tiene la opcion para la grabacion de programas, y perdí mi serie, pero repito es una tontería.

A really great place to stay in an incredibly perfect location. Everything is within walking distance. The host was super friendly and helpful. I always got a quick and friendly response. The apartment was incredibly well equipped and super clean :)

The apartment at An Island’s Place was comfortable, well equipped and very centrally located, close to restaurants, cafés, shopping, transport and the seafront. Self check-in was a breeze. Fabio did a great job communicating with me. My 10-day stay was wonderful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay.

Замечательные небольшие апартаменты, отлично оборудованные и уютные. Соседей вообще не слышно, встречаешься с ними только в лифте. Вообще тихо в отеле - половина его (номера под литерой А) выходит на маленькую живописную улочку Руа Дирейта, там есть кафе, но они не шумели.
Отличное расположение: историческая застройка, 5-7 минут до океана, рядом остановки транспорта, улица с ресторанами, супермаркеты и рынок.
Кровати, кондиционер, интернет, душ - все отлично. Стиралка, гладилка, утюг есть внизу.
Хозяева хорошие, внимательные и ненавязчивые. Связь с ними несложная. Чек-ин у них то ли в 15, то ли в 16, но мы прилетели утром, и нас заселили без всякой доплаты за ранний заезд. Нас встретила и все показала милая девушка Мадалена.
В целом все очень понравилось! С удовольствием бы остановились в этом отеле еще. Спасибо!
Номера под литерой Б выходят на большую улицу 31 января, кроме довольно интенсивного движения (не в московском, конечно, понимании :) ), там идет стройка: ремонт канала. Может быть, за 2-3 месяца его завершат, но пока он доставляет определенные неудобства. Примерно в 8-30-9.00 утра начинается шум. Если вы встаете раньше, то никаких проблем. Если любите поспать, как мы - просите себе номер А. Мы и в номере 2А спали с закрытой балконной дверью и кондиционером, чтоб утром просыпаться самим, а не от шума. Звукоизоляция при закрытой двери хорошая, шум не слышен.
Балкон есть, но он, увы, не очень функционален - слишком мал для сидения по вечерам.
И еще - негде сушить белье, по крайней мере, мы не нашли. Хотели постирать, но не на стульях же вешать. Веревочка на балконе не помешала бы.
Но плюсы все же значительно перевешивают! Фуншал и Мадейра прекрасны, и это жилье имеет отличное соотношение цена-качество.

We really liked the location of the apartment, the kindness of the host, the cleanliness, the furnitures are modern, kitchen is enough for a holiday. This was the 3rd time in their apartments, we really like it when we are in Madeira.
The view from the 2nd floor is not the best and the bed would be better if it is a double bed, not 2 single one put together. It would be better if the intermediate cleaning contain the bathroom, as well.

Zur Schlüsselübergabe hatten wir uns per SMS/Whatsapp mit der Agentur verabredet, was wunderbar funktioniert hat.
Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll modern eingerichtet, in der kleinen Küchenzeile sind neben einer Kaffeemaschine und Mikrowelle eine gute Grundausstattung an Geschirr, Töpfen, Pfannen vorhanden.
In den unteren Stockwerken hört man bei geöffneten Fenstern die Musik und die Gäste der umliegenden Cafes und Bars. Wir konnten jedoch nach Rücksprache mit der Agentur problemlos direkt umziehen.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral nahe am Hafen
Der Balkon ist viel zu klein. Nicht mal Platz für einen Stuhl!

Um ótimo espaço em Funchal para dormitar, tem no quarto uma mini-cozinha perfeita para fazer refeições caso esteja de férias e não queira almoçar ou jantar sempre fora.
Excelentes condições. Recomendo vivamente.

Um bom espaço bem decorado, estruturado, limpo e muito bem localizado. Algumas dificuldades na obtenção de água quente no duche. Difícil gestão para estacionar carro.
