Situé dans un quartier calme et serein, ce bel appartement offre confort et vues sur la mer.

Cette belle propriété est construite dans la partie haute de la ville de Caniço, où la bonne exposition au soleil et la vue sur la mer, offrent de bons moments de détente et de bien-être.

L'appartement se compose de deux chambres à coucher, l'une avec un lit double et l'autre avec deux lits simples. L'espace intérieur est décoré de manière simple et pratique, avec un salon spacieux, équipé d'un canapé-lit, ce qui donne une capacité maximale de cinq personnes à cette propriété.
À côté du salon, il y a un grand balcon avec vue sur la mer, où vous pouvez vous détendre ou prendre vos repas, avec toute la tranquillité que la région offre.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour que vous puissiez préparer tous vos repas.

La tranquillité est le mot qui définit le mieux les alentours de notre appartement.
D'ici, vous pouvez vous rendre à n'importe quel endroit de l'île, grâce à la proximité de l'accès à l'autoroute, qui vous permet de vous déplacer rapidement vers les points d'intérêt. Un restaurant se trouve à proximité de l'appartement. À cinq minutes en voiture se trouve le centre de Caniço, où vous trouverez des pharmacies, des bars, des restaurants, un hypermarché et un centre commercial de taille moyenne.

Si vous souhaitez trouver d'autres types de lieux ou d'activités, la ville de Funchal se trouve à 20 minutes en voiture.

Pour les départs et les arrivées de l'aéroport, la meilleure option pour se rendre à l'appartement sera le transfert. Demandez-nous d'en réserver un auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que les taxis que vous trouverez à l'aéroport !

Awesome experience. I can recommend An Island apartments with a clear conscience. The equipment was on highest level, there’s even more than you can find out about. Customer service is great as well. All good. The online checking was easy and the keys was in the keybox. Room was clean. And one time there was cleaning service who gave us new towels and all we need.
Near Funchal by car.
Rented car we left on the street near appartment.
All was great, except the hair dryer needed to be change - it's already far from new.
But it's just a small thing.

La casa era molto bella, come da foto. Posizione molto comoda per raggiungere tutte le camminate che ci eravamo prefissati. Le camere erano pulite e in cucina c’era tutto il necessario per cucinare. L’unica cosa negativa è la poca reattività dell’host, e il fatto di non aver avuto indicazioni chiare per il check-in. L’host mi ha fornito la posizione, ma una volta arrivati davanti alla porta, non ci è stato fornito il codice per il lucchetto, ma abbiamo dovuto fare una registrazione da un link per poterlo ottenere, sulle chiavi c’era scritto “V”, ma non c’era nessuna porta con quella lettera, dopo 50 minuti di ricerca con una cordiale vicina, abbiamo trovato la porta giusta (che era la H). Ho provato a mandare vari messaggi all’host ma anche se li leggeva non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Ho chiesto se era possibile pagare la tassa di soggiorno per 3 anziché 5 (2 amici non sono venuti) e sono stata ignorata. Spero che con i prossimi ospiti la comunicazione sia migliore

Appartement spacieux, literie, impeccable, seul bémol le bruit des voitures et Chien, aboyant aux alentours.
Cuisine avec tous les nécessaires, sauf la machine à café qui n’est pas la même que sur les photos.

Apartment is really spacious and clean. We had a great stay in Madeira, location is also very good, we rented a car and we didnt have any troubles finding parking near the building. 15 minutes drive to the center of Funchal and 5 minutes to the motorway. Only downside to the apartment was the ants, we left one bananas in the kitchen in the morning and when we came back it was eaten by them. Also found one gigantic cockroach in the kitchen but mostly everything was clean. Toilets were spot on, also the linens and the towels. Overall, a perfect value for the money!

Dwie łazienki, duża, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia z pralką i do tego świetny widok z balkonu na ocean i sąsiednie wyspy. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania różnych zakątków wyspy.
niestety parking tylko na ulicy, tam gdzie jest wolne miejsce, przy samym apartamencie są tylko 3 miejsca i zazwyczaj zajęte-polecam uliczkę wyżej koło żłobka-zawsze były wolne miejsca

Amplitud, vista al mar, las instalaciones en excelente estado, buena ubicación, todo muy limpio, cocina amplia y con todo lo necesario. Aunque no tiene estacionamiento privado se aparca muy bien en la calle y sin problema.
Que el plato de ducha esta muy deslizante, y mi mama se cayó, pero no pasó nada. Algo que se soluciona con unos buenos tapetes antideslizantes. Que la caja de llaves estaba bloqueada cuando llegamos, y tuve que llamarlos, pero enseguida vinieron a darnos las llaves, y la atención de Decio fue excelente.

Nagyon tágas, kényelmes szállás! Mindenünk megvolt amire szükségünk lehetett, és csodás a kilátás!! Könnyen elérhető volt bárhova akartunk menni, buszmegálló is van a közelében, amivel Funchalba fél óra az út. Tudtunk az utcán autóval parkolni is! Egy utcával lentebb van egy étterem és egy reggeliző is, mind a kettőnek rendszeres látogatói voltunk, azokat is nagyon ajánlom.

We wanted to checkin earlier. We called and a woman picked up. I asked if we could checkin earlier and she said she will call the “cleaning company” to see if we can check in earlier because there were ither guests leaving. We didnt get an answer and we tried writing on airbnb app too. But no luck getting an answer. 15 minutes before our real cchcek in someone wrote that “its not possible”. This conunication style lasted our whole stay. BUT when we got to the place it was everything it promised on pictures and in description. Really cozy apartment with a sea view. Everything was perfectly clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Szczerze odradzam tą lokalizację. Po pierwszej nocy obudziłem się w pościeli poplamionej moją własną krwią bo pogryzły mnie pluskwy. Gospodarz nie zadbał o warunki sanitarne w lokalu w wyniku czego pasożyty zagnieździły się w materacu w głównej sypialni. Zgłosiłem ten incydent niezwłocznie i zostałem zapewniony że w jeszcze tego samego dnia pojawi się zespół sprzątający aby temu zaradzić. Kiedy wróciłem wieczorem, mieszkanie wyglądało tak samo jak zostawiłem je rano - nikt się nie pojawił. Po kolejnej okropnej nocy (tym razem na podłodze) pojechałem do biura gospodarza An Island Apart w Funchal aby wyjaśnić zajście i wymusić należytą reakcję. Nie mieli dla mnie i rodziny innego wolnego mieszkania i musieliśmy się przenieść się do hotelu. Gospodarz zwrócił mi całość należności za pobyt. Kosztowało mnie to sporo stresu i zamiast cieszyć się urlopem blisko cały dzień spędziłem na szukaniu zastępczego lokum na ostatnią chwilę.

Nic - vybrali jsme si tento apartmán pro parkování zdarma ale žádné tu nebylo.
Taky jsme chtěli být mimo Funchal at máme klid.
Klid tu rozhodně nebyl.
Takže ani poměr cena/výkon… za tento zanedbaný apartmán nevychází dobře.
Špatná informace o parkování zdarma.
Stálé špatně označená lokace - ( už minulá recenze to zmiňuje - takže jsou si toho vědomi a nedošlo k nápravě) ve 2 ráno s autem bez benzínu a zavřených benzínkách hledáte v poli… až po telefonátech jsme dostali správné souřadnice.
Nefunkční trouba, bojler nestíhá takže skotské střiky…smradlavá šatna i odpady. Před domem všude mrtví švábi.
Na oknech i v koupelně plíseň.
Hluční psi, sousedi, cesta.. Nevyspíte se
Apartmán zanedbaný, vybavení staré opotřebované-špinavé . rozpadlý stolek, roztrhané polštáře, ušmudlané sedáky, fleky na koberci, podřené podlahy..apod.
Tady jde vidět, že se tu jen rýžují peníze ale zpět nikdo neinvestuje- nikdo se nestará...

Regarding the issues about the gas station closed at 2 a.m., we're sorry about that however this isn't part of our services that we provide to our guests. About the google maps link that we provide to all guests, is completely correct and we're sorry that you didn't find easily. Around the building, the guests can find several car parkings for free, so we mentioned in booking.com this highlight.

We're sorry that wasn't hear from you nothing about the oven during your stay because after you left our maintenance team fixed the issue quickly. :( It's really important that the guests inform us that kind of unexpected because we have a maintenance tea ready to fix this issues immediately. The cockroaches on the street, it's out of our control, however we guarantee that the cockroaches don't appear inside of the flat through regular disinfestation and it is very comfortable for the guests that stay with us. Also, we handled the smelly of cloakroom, mold on the windows and in the bathroom and we're sorry for this inconvenience.

About noise from the neighbours, dogs and people on the road before 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. just can be handle through the intervention of the competent authorities.

We hope that you have a better experience for the next time that you come to Madeira and we appreciate your comments because through your feedback you can improve everyday to welcome our guests and provide them the best experience!

We had a great time at An Island Apart's apartman in Canico. The flat is very well equipped, the hosts were very helpful and friendly- we also got a travel cot and a high chair for our baby. The location is great, there is a big balcony and a quiet inner courtyard. The only things I would change is the online check in at the AIA website (many details requested) and the description and showing of the exact address on Airbnb. Even though on the AIA website it is correct, but gogle maps and Airbnb show the Edificio Atlantico at a wrong place, so we had difficulties finding it. But all in all it was a positive experience, would definitely come back!

Apartament uważam za dobry w swoim przedziale cenowym.
Największym minusem było to ze w jednym momencie z łazienki nie mogły korzystać dwie osoby bo zaczynała lecieć zimna woda.
Parking na miejscu jest malutki (miejsce na 4 samochody) i zawsze był zajęty musieliśmy parkować uliczkę wyżej na drodze.
Polecam ze względu na cenę.

We had hard time to find the flat by goglemaps. The adress in Airbnb didn't match and we couldn't find it. Eventualy we find the same apartment on another aplication where was link to Booking.

Excellent accommodation completely sufficient for ordinary travelers. Don't expect luxury, but the rooms are clean, there are 2 showers, the equipment of the kitchen was also excellent. Nice place, near the bus stop and close enough the shops and restaurants. Clean and well equipped apartment. We travelled with group of 4 persons and this was great fit for us as there was bathrooms and bedrooms for both couples and functioning kitchen. There was also enough extra blankets and heaters if having cold, but as we are from Finland, we didn't need those ;)

However we think it is unfair: your booking was last minute (you asked if you could book on the same day as check-in, at 9pm); we informed you that the flat was not yet cleaned (as we had guests leaving on the same day and the cleaning team would still have to clean it); you still chose to confirm the booking.

O apartamento é bastante agradável, gostamos imenso de todas as divisões que estavam apetrechadas com todas as necessidades básicas.
Para mim, acordar com vista mar é sem duvida um dos pontos altos do apartamento.
A casa de banho é aceitável, mas com os muitos banhos (no nosso caso eramos 5 pessoas) fica rapidamente com alguma água no chão.

L’appartement est parfaitement bien équipé. La situation est également bien comme base de départ pour des visites sur toute l’île. Une voiture est conseillée pour ces visites et le stationnement à l’extérieur et à proximité de l’appartement ne pose aucun problème. A proximité, à pied, une « boulangerie-pâtisserie », des arrêts de bus pour Funchal si besoin et non loin en voiture deux supermarchés. Très bons conseils d’an Island avec des sociétés locales pour le transfert d’aéroport et la location de voiture.

Appartement poussiéreux, congélateur sale, drap tache, vitres sales traces de mains et de pieds, wc lunettes cassees, odeur d'égout dans une salle de bain.Pas d'aspirateur pour le nettoyage journalier.
Personne a notre arrivée sur place, personne pour l'état des lieux à notre départ.Assistance téléphonique à notre arrivée afin de trouver l'appartement la nuit ne parlant pas le français.

Na Madeiru jsem přiletěl s rodinou na 10 dní. Apartmán byl dostatečně prostorný, s dvěma koupelnami, velkým balkonem s výhledem na moře. Vybavení lehce opotřebované, ale plně funkční. Oceňuji svižnou Wi-Fi. Poblíž apartmánu byla též restaurace a prodejna čerstvého pečiva. Tím ale klady v podstatě končí.
Hned při příjezdu první , vcelku zásadní problém: navigace nedokázala nalézt adresu ubytování (Google Maps, Waze), ani když jsem vycházel přímo z aplikace Booking. Zavedla nás mezi záhony a farmy. Takže nezbývalo, než ujet cca 100 metrů, vystoupit a obejít domy (ulice měří víc jak kilometr, sklon slušných 25%),...asi napopáté se to podařilo. Další problém: Tento apartmán, v rozporu s informacemi, NENABÍZÍ parkování zdarma, je to i na informační tabuli uvnitř apartmánu. Takže se parkuje na ulici, někdy blíže, někdy v delší vzdálenosti od ubytování. Apartmán je v bloku bytů, kde bydlí místní obyvatelé, takže hluk, štěkání psů apod. je celodenní (to by tak nevadilo), ale i noční záležitostí a nic s tím nenaděláte. Pod balkonem je velmi rušná ulice, s provozem aut, kamionů a autobusů....rámus vás spolehlivě několikrát za noc vzbudí. Čistota byla průměrná, ale na schodišti před domem jsem pravidelně ráno zašlapával šváby....V apartmánu naštěstí nebyli (snad...). Toto ubytování rozhodně neodpovídá hodnocení "Zcela fantastické", což je holý nesmysl, domnívám se, že cena při ubytování hrála u předchozích hodnocení hlavní roli. Za mě podprůměr, obtížně k nalezení, služby neodpovídají popisu. Jednoduše zklamání.

Nice and spacious apartment. Location is quite good, close to the beach and supermarkets. Fast internet (we worked remotely with no issues). Also great support from the owning company. There were some issues with the bathrooms - there are two bathrooms but if two people take a shower, only one will have hot water (it turns off also when someone is washing the dishes etc.) There were ants in the kitchen throughout our stay. Also windows in the bedroom had black mold on them. Overall it’s a nice apartment and good value for money but needs a little bit of maintenance.

Appartement conforme au descriptif et aux photos.
Par contre dans l'annonce il est précisé qu'un parking privé à l'appartement est disponible et gratuit. ( C'EST FAUX ) il faut chercher une place dans la rue tous les jours.
Il serait souhaitable que la personne de TRAVEL MADERIA qui réceptionne est quelques connaissances de FRANCAIS.

Belle vue sur l'eau, mais l'adresse n'est en réalité pas vraiment à Caniço. C'est assez loin de Funchal, location de voiture obligatoire. Peu de commodités autour du logement pour une famille. Désagréable surprise de devoir payer des taxes supplémentaires par personne dès notre arrivée sans qu'aucune facture ne soit produite. En revanche l'archipel de Madère vaut incontestablement le détour.

Spacious & clean apartment and fully equipped. Nice view from the balcony. The only downside: the dogs of the neighbors! They stay outside all night and then bark a lot. It has kept me awake for hours ...unfortunately.
