Cette maison traditionnelle madérienne rénovée de trois étages est proche du centre de Funchal, à environ 5 minutes en voiture. On y accède par des escaliers, et au premier étage, vous trouverez une chambre avec un lit double, une salle de bains avec douche, la cuisine et la buanderie, un bureau et un salon. À l'extérieur, vous trouverez une cour, une douche extérieure et un jardin avec barbecue où vous pourrez préparer vos repas en plein air. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend deux chambres à coucher avec lit double et deux salles de bains privées avec douche. Au premier étage, il y a un grenier avec un salon spacieux.
Cette propriété a une capacité maximale de 6 personnes.

Cette maison est située près du stade Barreiros où plusieurs matchs de football ont lieu. Cette propriété est très bien située pour ceux qui veulent rester près du centre ville de Funchal. Dans les environs, vous trouverez la Levada dos Piornais, le point de vue Nazaré qui surplombe le centre de Funchal et le jardin Quinta Magnólia. En 20 minutes de marche, vous pouvez facilement atteindre le complexe de baignade du Lido, et en 25 minutes, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'au Casino de Madère, au parc Santa Catarina et au centre de Funchal où vous trouverez d'autres attractions.

A well equipped and comfortable house but we’d expect nothing less for the price.
We were surprised there was no ‘welcome’ package, which we’ve always found in other rented properties. After a long day travelling there was nothing to drink but water from the tap and no snacks. Nor was there any information about where to buy food or eat locally. So go prepared.
Fortunately we noticed a guest house - Vila Camacho -almost opposite the house which was very welcoming and we used daily for an excellent breakfast and a few times for dinner. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent logement dans un quartier paisible. La maison est très belle, bien équipée et récemment rénovée. La terrasse est très agréable, l'accès en voiture pas évident mais on s'y fait.
quel bonheur de se réveiller au soleil face à l'océan. La maison est très lumineuse.
Je recommande vivement le restaurant juste en face, dans la maison d'hôtes : il propose des cocktails délicieux à bon prix, une bonne cuisine et des soirées à thème. leur terrasse est super agréable.
l'arrivée dans l'appartement avec boîte sécurisé et la communication avec an island Resort sont très pratiques.
Je recommande vivement et je reviendrais avec plaisir !

The house is spacious, with lots of room to relax indoors and a nice outdoor space too. Overall the decor is very attractive, the furniture was comfortable, and the location was quiet. It’s a reasonable walk into Funchal, and was near a bus stop for return journeys.
A few small things could be improved to make the overall experience better.
- Soap dish or shower shelf in showers
- Extractor fans in the bathrooms
- Basics in the kitchen (eg oil, salt, pepper, til foil, and so on)
- Clearer information about house maintenance (staff turned up unannounced to do laundry) and how to leave the house on departure
- Deep clean the living room, as it had a very musty smell

Nice spacious house in funchal. Walking distance to centre. If you are fairly fit you can walk back but hilly .
Free safe gated parking and fairly easy to access most of island for sightseeing.
Bbq and outside area very nice but not used as we only stayed a few nights. House is suitable for 6 people to be comfortable. Bed and breakfast opposite handy for cocktail or snack. Nice garden area. We would stay again if owners sort one little problem which we addressed privately

The property was great and we really enjoyed our stay. Clean, cool, with a nice area outside to sit and eat. It was a 40 min walk downhill to the town centre, which was fine. We always to a taxi back, between 7 - 10 euros. The parking spot was very useful as the space on the road was tight to say the least. Would happily stay again.

It is a beautiful house that has been wonderfully renovated. Well equipped with washing machine, dryer, high chair, travel cot etc to make family life easy. It has a great private parking spot and terrace over looking the sea. Right opposite there is a really nice little bar / restaurant which serves traditional food and was perfect for a quick snack and drink in the evening, our kids loved playing on the little terrace there.
There are x5 air con units in the house which are fantastic, We used the kitchen facilities quite a bit and every single time the power at the house cut out and we worked out the air con units had to be turned off before being able to cook, this was the only inconvenience that needs addressing.
We would happily return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house in Funchal. Lots of space for our family of four, super clean, everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were great in rescheduling our shuttle from the airport after we had several flight delays.

One of the best Air B&B’s we have stayed in. It was perfect for our family lots of space, nice living room with a tv. We had a little trouble finding it but once we did we were stoked. The best part was the private parking stall inside a locked gate, parking can be hard to find on the street but this was huge. Lots of great restaurants nearby very quick uber or drive down. Loved the top floor window that opens to the beautiful Funchal views. Great location great amenities. Mahalo

Le logement correspond parfaitement au descriptif et aux photos. Il est propre et est équipé de mobiliers de qualité. Il se trouve dans un quartier calme. La cuisine, le salon et les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est de qualité. 2 salles de douches sont attenantes des deux chambres du rez-de-chaussée (suites parentales) ; la troisième salle de douche a une entrée indépendante de la chambre et se trouve au rez-de-jardin (avec la cuisine et le salon). Le stationnement du véhicule à l'intérieur de la propriété (dans la cour) est très pratique et se fait par l'ouverture d'un portail électrique (la télécommande se trouve à votre arrivée sur la commode). La vue sur l'océan et sur Funchal dans la salle de détente du 1er étage est grandiose. Nous avons eu un problème de wifi et l'hôte a été très réactif dans sa réponse et son intervention (problème résolu en moins de 24h). Nous recommandons cette location.

The house is very cozy and there was always enough space for privacy.
The only thing which was missing was the remote control for the garage entrance. Without it was a little bit tricky to handle the car and park out of the narrow dead-end street.
Overall definitely recommendable :-).

Niestety w naszym przypadku nie mielismy kluczy w skrytce wiec musielismy czekać aż Pani przyjedzie i otworzy nam dom, nie dostaliśmy też pilota do bramy więc nie mogliśmy korzystać z miejsca parkingowego na posesji. Jednak pomimo to zdecydowanie warto było. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z wyboru i szczerze polecamy!

The quality/price ratio is amazing! When we checked in we were really surprised to see the actual size of the property. The view from 2 bedrooms and from the top floor is absolutely amazing!
We can't call this location really walkable but there are bus stops relatively near by and if you rent a car you are going to be alright.
The host was very responsive and allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful ❤️
The backyard is really nice. Our 3yo daughter enjoyed running there.
We rented this property because our other rental got cancelled and luckily we could book this house instantly! It took us a while to get to the property because there are two streets with similar names close by so we really recommend asking for a GPS after you book this house.

Das ist ein Selbstversorger-Haus. Das Frühstuck konnte man online bestellen. Das war auch ok. Wir haben es aber kein 2. Mal bestellt. Gleich in der Nähe gibt es die Möglichkeit zu frühstücken, was wir dann auch gemacht haben.

Das Haus ist nicht leicht zu finden, ist aber in einer guten Lage unweit von Zentrum von Funchal. Die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück ist schwierig weil die Nachbarn in der sehr engen Zufahrtsstrasse eine Millimeterarbeit mit dem Auto erfordert.
Raumaufteilung ist gut, Matratzen etwas hart, Badezimmer gut ausgestattet und die Küche ausreichend. Der Garten ist leider etwas klein…Wir haben mehrere Tage gebraucht um die unzähligen Lichtschalter richtig zu bedienen - war unlogisch angeordnet und ein Ratespiel.
Leider sind die Nachbarhunde am Abend und in der Nacht sehr aktiv und bellen. Mit offenen Fenstern schlafen ist schwer möglich. Leider haben wir in der Waschküche und am Grillplatz im Freien riesige Kakerlaken vorgefunden. Die kommen wohl aus der Nachbarschaft, sind aber trotzdem ein Problem für dieses Haus. Die Waschküche hat eine Tür direkt ins Freie und besteht aus Metalllamellen wodurch diese nach außen hin offen ist. Hier kommen die Kakerlaken wohl und den Raum und von dort in die Küche ….
Das große und tolle TV-Gerät ist unbrauchbar wenn man nicht Portugiesisch spricht. Es ist uns nicht gelungen einen Film oder ein Programm auf Englisch zu finden. Gebrauchsanweisung - Fehlanzeige. So hatten wir an den Abenden viel Zeit zum Reden….

Insgesamt eher eine Enttäuschung. Das Problem mit dem Nachbarhunden kann wohl nicht so einfach gelöst werden, das mit den Kakerlaken IM Gebäude schon.
Raumaufteilung ist gut, Matratzen etwas hart, Badezimmer gut ausgestattet und die Küche ausreichend. Der Garten ist leider etwas klein…Wir haben mehrere Tage gebraucht um die unzähligen Lichtschalter richtig zu bedienen - war unlogisch angeordnet und ein Ratespiel.
Leider sind die Nachbarhunde am Abend und in der Nacht sehr aktiv und bellen. Mit offenen Fenstern schlafen ist schwer möglich. Leider haben wir in der Waschküche und am Grillplatz im Freien riesige Kakerlaken vorgefunden. Die kommen wohl aus der Nachbarschaft, sind aber trotzdem ein Problem für dieses Haus. Die Waschküche hat eine Tür direkt ins Freie und besteht aus Metalllamellen wodurch diese nach außen hin offen ist. Hier kommen die Kakerlaken wohl und den Raum und von dort in die Küche ….
Das große und tolle TV-Gerät ist unbrauchbar wenn man nicht Portugiesisch spricht. Es ist uns nicht gelungen einen Film oder ein Programm auf Englisch zu finden. Gebrauchsanweisung - Fehlanzeige. So hatten wir an den Abenden viel Zeit zum Reden….

We will take into account the issues you mentioned and fix it as soon as possible. As you can understand, somethings are out of our control, such as the neighbor dog and the insects outside of the property. We disinfect our properties so it won't happen, but if the property is open, it's normal insects to come in.
We give always instructions for everything in the property on the guest area which every guest have their own.
You will always be welcome at our properties :)
