Este magnífico duplex fica no sexto e último andar de um edifício calmo e soalheiro. O seu espaço exterior convida a banhos de sol e a mergulhos na piscina, situada nos jardins do condomínio.
Com duas acomodações, ambas espaçosas com cama de casal, este apartamento acomoda até sete pessoas e está equipado com tudo aquilo que precisa.
Não se esqueça de “usar e abusar” da fantástica varanda, de manhã à noite!

O BAIRRO E AS REDONDEZAS
Situado numa das mais prestigiadas zonas do Funchal, este apartamento está perto de supermercados, farmácias, lojas, bares, salas de espetáculo e do Casino da Madeira.
Ao lado do Casino fica o agradável Parque de Santa Catarina, com grandes áreas verdes para correr, relaxar ou fazer um piquenique com vista para a deslumbrante baía do Funchal.
A localização é a ideal para explorar a cidade a pé (dentro de dez minutos a pé da catedral, da marina e do centro) ou pelos transportes públicos (paragem de autocarro a dois minutos a pé).

TRANSPORTES
Para partidas e chegadas do aeroporto, há uma paragem de aerobus a cerca de cinco minutos da casa, embora que a melhor opção para chegar ao apartamento será o transfer. Peça-nos para marcar um com os nossos parceiros locais. É mais barato do que os táxis que encontra no aeroporto!

Very nice apartment, ideal for two couples (two equal bedrooms, separate bathrooms). Great roof terrace with views over Funchal and space for two cars in the underground garage.The location is excellent, close to the center of Funchal, yet quiet.The service from the An Island Apart Team was excellent, especially Jessica was very helpful.The apartment's furnishings, although complete, are a bit dated. This particularly applies to the kitchen equipment and the brick barbecue, which is gradually falling apart.The owners would only need to invest a small amount to achieve a full rating, so it remains a "good" rating.

Nice location and a nice terrace. Thought it was a view, but you don’t see that much from the terrace. A really nice apartment with two and half bathroom, nice beds and a friendly host. A little too expensive and the elevator was a little hard to use.

Excellent apartment in a great location close to everything. On the top floor, you have good sea views on one side and lovely mountain views on the other.

Underground car park with a private garage for 2 cars and lift access to the 6th floor.

The apartment was furnished well, with plenty of storage space, we would definately book again

We enjoyed living in this nice apartment. Good size for 4 persons, loved that we had 2 bathrooms and the rooftop terrace was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk to down town. Also loved that the apartment had it’s own indoor parking lots (room for 2 cars)! Perfect host, easy communication and quick reply. L'appartement est bien situé dans Funchal . Il est grand, fonctionnel et bien équipé.
A notre arrivée, nous avons dû refaire le ménage après avoir laissé 5mn notre bébé de 10 mois au sol, le body blanc était gris/noir. Il y avait une odeur d'égout.
La résidence est bruyante le soir.
Les matelas ne sont pas de 1ères jeunesses , nous sentions bien les ressorts. ( obligés de mettre des couvertures pour essayer de mieux dormir)
Nous avons eu un problème de fermetures de fenêtres et portes, les hôtes ont été très reactifs mais le problème n'a pas été résolu au final.
L'appartement est loué en mettant en avant l'accès a une piscine située dans la résidence.... elle est très sale, avec boules de cheveux dans l'eau , des végétaux, du sable, de la moisissure et une odeur peu agréable... malgré nos demandes, rien n'a été fait !
Un geste commercial est attendu...

Great location lovely terrace at top large spacious apartment.
Too many codes in the building lift was a bit slow sometimes. Hot water not very good when having shower. Also en suite bathroom had bad smell after two days from drain so not very nice.

Appartement grand et lumineux, très bien situé, avec un parking très pratique.
Cependant, l’appartement est complètement vétuste, les équipements sont tous en fin de vie (notamment aspirateur, lave linge et sèche linge) l’eau chaude est aléatoire, la literie de mauvaise qualité, et surtout il y a de TRÈS fortes remontées d’égout, avec des odeurs quasi insupportables à certains moments.
L’appartement est bien trop cher pour la qualité des prestations.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful and spacious apartment in the heart of Funchal, This impressive 2-bedroom apartment boasts a separate living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a small balcony on the lower floor and a huge roof terrace - where you can find the very nice barbecue - with an amazing view over the city. Its central location allows for easy access to nearby attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. It was also extremely easy to reach the highway - which is a big plus! I highly recommend staying here!

Saknade en del utrustning i köket, som ersattes efter några dagar. Fjärrkontroll till grind och garage fungerade inte, vilket innebar att vi inte kunde använda garage och att vi fick vänta upp till 1 tim för att bli utsläppta från gården av annan boende. Städning efter en vecka innebar i stort sett bara byte av lakan o handdukar, ingen dammsugning eller våttorkning av golv.

Negatives:
The WiFi signal is extremely poor and often disconnects. The router could be moved to the centre of the apartment
The bed sheets were old and yellowed
The washer and dryer don't work properly and sometimes make weird noises
The water while showering most of the time goes cold and it takes time to come back hot
Slight smell in the bathrooms
The block of flats is not new and this can be seen around the apartment and the furniture but it is not a big problem

Positives:
Excellent communication with the host and a very nice welcoming when we arrived
Great location very close to the city centre and in walking distance to the clubs and the old town
Very useful underground parking with a direct entrance to the flat
Awesome view from the terrace with a useful grill
The kitchen is very well equipped
The block of flats is very secure with multiple entrances locked by keypads

All in all, I recommend this accommodation but some minor improvements should be done.

We stayed 8 weeks in the apartment which is very different than a short-term rental. The apartment was adequately furnished but more comforable and cosy touches are missing. Outdoor furniture in particular was not comfortable. Location is fine, but the apartment is too close to other buildings and privacy is compromised.

Die Lage war super! Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr geräumig. Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage war wirklich perfekt und von dort aus konnten wir direkt mit dem Aufzug in die Wohnung.Sehr angenehm fanden wir auch die Türcodes.
Leider gab es auf der wunderschönen Dachterasse keine Sonnenliegen.

This is a wonderful apartment with restaurants a 5 minute walk. Funchal is 30 minutes or short taxi ride. The bedrooms are spacious and both bathrooms have bath. The roof terrace is roomy and has a bbq. We stayed 2 ladies together and felt very secure.

Great location, easyly in walking distance to Funchal center. Stunning roof terrace. Well equipped apartment with basically everything you could need. Great parking garage with plenty of space for a car (two parking lots for the flat, a bit small if you're using two cars but would work).
The light in the hall before the entrance didn't work for the whole stay, we needed a flashlight to open the door of the apartment. The fridge seems to be broken, only on a few days it cooled properly. The roof terrace is lacking sunbeds.

The apartment is immaculately clean and has excellent facilities. The roof terrace offers mountain views which are simply stunning, especially at sunrise.
We were greeted at the apartment and given an extensive overview of all the facilities along with some tips and recommendations.
The apartment is located a short walk from Funchal. There are two hills to climb out of the Centre, which can be a little daunting if you have spent the day navigating the many hills in Madeira. We didn't have a car and used Uber to get home on a couple of occasions, to avoid the climb, at a cost of 3 Euros. There are a few local supermarkets and a larger Pingo Doce at the bottom of the second hill (a 15 minute walk).
There are some great restaurants at the bottom of the road including Restaurant Victoria and a superb bakery offering light lunches and the most delicious cakes. This is a must try! There are also a few local bars.
Check in and check out was excellent - clear instructions provided on email and via an online app and information page (which was superb).
The apartment is quiet for the most part. There is some noise from local dogs barking but this is very infrequent and quite normal.
Highly recommended and we would definitely use again in the future.

Fabulous apartment, very modern and spotlessly clean. Good location with a ten minute walk into Funchal centre. Quite a steep hill on the way back but if you don’t fancy that a taxi from the market was €7. Easy access and plenty of on site parking. Great kitchen with good equipment and utensils. Wir haben die Unterkunft genau so vorgefunden, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Wir hatten allerdings gedacht und gehofft, dass sie in Wirklichkeit etwas wohnlicher sein würde, die Einrichtung ist unpersönlich und das Licht der meisten Lampen grellweiß und nicht sehr gemütlich, aber das mag Geschmackssache sein.
Davon abgesehen war alles in Ordnung. Travel to Madeira ist ein professioneller Anbieter und hat sich auch so verhalten. Schnelle Antworten, unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken, alles gut.

Travel to Madeira nous a relogé au dernier moment suite à une inondation dans l ‘appartement loué. Nous n’avons pas eu l’appartement choisi pour 7 personnes mais nous avons très apprécié leur professionnalisme et cordialité à nous trouver un nouveau logement qui nous convienne. Trouver au dernier moment un appartement pour 7 personnes nous semble être un bon défi et les 3 appartements dans le même immeuble étaient parfaits très propre et très bien agencés.
En plein centre ce qui a compensé le manque de piscine que les enfants ont réclamé.
Travel to madeira a vraiment été très courtois et soucieux de notre séjour avec Catarina qui a répondu à nos questions et apporté les détails utiles.

My family and I stayed in this flat in mid-April 2019 and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We have 3 teenage boys and it is often rather difficult to find sleeping arrangements that suit us. In this case, the accommodation was perfect, with a separate bedroom for the eldest and a very spacious top floor room with two big sofa beds for the younger ones. The main bedroom is huge and really well fitted out, with an en-suite bathroom (even jets in the the bath!), loads of cupboard space, comfy bed etc. and it feels like being in a luxury hotel room. The flat is set out over two floors with plenty of space, dining kitchen, separate dining table and lounge area with TV, open air terrace on the first floor with another table, then the top floor with sofa beds and TV - but the absolutely best bit of this flat is the huge open air space on the top floor with beautiful views to the mountains at the rear of the property. There are chairs, tables, umbrellas, driers for wet towels, a BBQ. The apartment block also has a nice swimming pool area with sun loungers and while we were there we were the only ones using the pool. The location is really good, easy walking distance to the town centre (5 to 10 minutes). I would definitely recommend this accommodation and I would definitely stay here again. The communication with the hosts was also excellent, they always replied really promptly and organised us a taxi from the airport who brought us directly to the accommodation and was in contact with our hosts to let them know when we would be arriving.

Nice apartment overall - bit dark if there were no lights on as it is mainly north/west facing. The roof top would have been more usuable if the patio chairs etc had been out - the stone table/seats are rather unforgiving and need some cushions!. What a shame there were no sunbeds to enjoy the sunshine we did have up there.

Getting in and out would have been easier if there werent quite so many keys and codes to use - but if you are very security concious, that may suit ! The front door key needed sorting as if it didnt work first time, it took ages and a lot of fiddling to get the door open.Shower in the bathroom was poor pressure wise - new hose needed. Could have done with a few hooks etc for dressing gowns/coats to hang, particulaiy wet coats !

Other than those minor niggles, convenient place to stay, and beds/settees were comfortable. A good week despite some rain!

Despite the issue with check in I would recommend this flat It was clean spacious, and just as pictured - everything you could possibly need for your stay! When exiting flat you can turn left and walk into Funchal centre or turn right and there are many great restaurants to visit.

A superb apartment. The furnishings are all top quality and the place itself is located just the right distance from the old town. The rooftop terrace is a real bonus too - just right to catch the sun's rays. A 10 out of 10 experience, we'd definitely stop here again.

Brilliant location with bus stops nearby for the local busses into town - only a couple of stops to the old town and marina - and the hotel/lido area as well as both the red and yellow open top tourist busses. There are two gorgeous parks at the bottom of the hill a couple of minutes away which look over the ocean and town.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious and the (unheated) pool got sun all day until about 5.30 which was great.

The rooftop terrace overlooking the mountains was brilliant and we made good use of the BBQ.

There were plenty of towels, including beach towels and the kitchen was well equipped including a coffee maker, oven, hob, grill and dishwasher as well as a washing machine (plus detergent) and tumble dryer.

Great communication from the host, who also arranged airport transfers for €25.

I would highly recommend a stay here!
