A melhor opção para chegar à villa será o transfer. Peça-nos para marcar um com os nossos parceiros locais. É mais barato do que os táxis que encontra no aeroporto. Se alugar carro, qualquer aplicação de navegação encontra facilmente a morada.
Existe uma paragem de autocarro a 2 minutos a pé da villa.

Tem acesso a todas as áreas da propriedade, excepto uma zona de arrumos por baixo da moradia que estará trancada.

Estamos sempre disponíveis para ajudar ou para tirar dúvidas. Faremos os possíveis para acorrer a todas as solicitações. Temos também uma aplicação para os hóspedes com todas as informações importantes sobre a propriedade e outras informações úteis para a sua estadia.
OUTRAS OBSERVAÇÕES

Architecturally stunning house. Beautifully decorated and maintained throughout.
Located in central Funchal surrounded by many cafes, restaurants and tourist facilities. Large supermarket 2 minute walk.
Pool is only small. We paid the extra fee to heat it. We visited in December and the owners didn’t hesitate to turn the temperature to maximum. We enjoyed a daily dip but not large enough to swim in. We highly recommend this property.

An excellent stay in a fantastic location but a few issues noted below resulted in a dropped star. Despite these challenges we would return. Firstly no crib on checking for our 6 month old despite confirming one I'm the booking process. This was very stressful after a long day but the rep Elias sourced one late after a lot a back and forth averting a potential disaster. We also paid extra for the pool to be heated, it wasn't especially hot but would have been fine. however the cover was disinteregrating leaving the pool full of small pieces of plastic. this didn't feel safe for our daughter. Finally I found some of the communication a little over zealous often receiving the same message 3+ time via muliple channels. Be warmed parking is a challenge in this area.

In a word: flawless. The villa was even more wonderful than we expected. A beautiful old home modernised to perfection. The location was surprisingly close to the best parts of Funchal and easily walkable. It was peaceful with many options for places to sunbathe and chill outside - verandas and decks galore and wonderful views of the gorgeous garden full of exotic plants. The pool is tiny but ideal for cooling off. Best equipped kitchen we've ever had in an AirBnB. The only drawback was not being able to keep the mosquitoes out of the house, so we had to keep the doors and windows shut all the time. Still got bitten to shreds. It didn't matter though, because this is truly a magical place to spend a holiday. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Die schöne, versteckte Villa war ein toller Ort, um einen ruhigen Urlaub als Familie zu genießen. Das Haus war blitzblank sauber und gut ausgestattet. Highlight war der kleine Pool und der schöne Garten. Eine kleine Oase mitten in der Stadt.
Das AnIslandApart Team war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Als wir eine Information bezüglich eines Kinderarztes brauchten, haben sie uns auch Abends noch geantwortet. Auch mit einer weiteren Bettauflage wurde meinem Vater zu besserem Schlaf verholfen.

Really nice villa in a particularly nice part of Funchal, only a couple of minutes walk from lots of good outdoor dining options, the seafront, and the Plaza Madeira (which has a great supermarket, plus a massive car park which allows multi-day parking).
The villa itself is nice. Well equipped, quiet and a very friendly resident cat to keep you company.
Worth noting:
The pool - is tiny !😂 The rental company will ask if you want it heated for €20 Euros a day. First reaction is that’s a bit cheeky as it should be included in the price, and the charge is probably three times the actual cost of heating such a small pool (the pool is literally 3m x 3m ! 😂). Second reaction is it’s probably unnecessary as it felt like a warm bath!
arking - you can’t park in the road the villa is on as that’s residents only. You can park above in the open car park at the top of the road, but the maximum time you can get a parking voucher for is 3.5 hours. So park in Madeira Plaza if needed.

Wir waren als Familie mit Kindern 10/8/4j. im Casa. Die Lage ist perfekt, in wenigen Schritten im Zentrum von Funchal. Der Ort ist ruhig. Garten mit Bananen-Bäumen (etwas karg) und kleinem Pool, welcher nach einem heissen Spaziergang Abkühlung bringt. Haus ist geeignet für max. 6 Personen, so hat jedes Paar sein Badezimmer. Es gibt ab und zu Kakerlaken im Haus, aber das hat nichts mit der mangelnden Hygiene zu tun - in der Stadt sind solche überall. Beim Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis bin ich etwas unsicher, sind doch 400€ pro Nacht im Juli an der oberen Grenze. Die Vermieterin ist eine Firma, so hat man je nach Tageszeit andere Kontaktpersonen. Alle bemühen sich, aber zusammen mit den automatisierten Nachrichten sind die Nachrichten schon mal widersprüchlich. Aber jedem der das Budget hat, können wir das Haus empfehlen!

The most beautiful house, perfect in all respects, lovely decor, historicaly interesting, fantastic garden and lovely pool, 5 mins to restaurans and supermarket. Delightful person, Beatrice, very responsive to our needs greeted us and helpfully came to check the house at the end as we wanted to leave with a reassuring 'all ok', as we got a bit nervous about the quality of communication on line with the letting company. I would advise checking if the pool heating is included in the rental charge, as sadly this was a complication for us, which somewhat soured communication on arrival in Funchal, and which hopefully in future won't arise. I hope the communication is sorted, so it is on the Airbnb site, and requests for payment for 'extras', (pool, luggage) are through Airbnb as per terms and conditions. They were in the process of sourcing cooling fans, for the season, and it was unseasonably warm at 30 ° in mid April. Otherwise, a really fabulous place to stay, which I would recommend.

The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is no parking place on the property but this was not a problem at all. It was always easy to find a parking spot at the public parking nearby. The person who met us at the house to give us the key was very friendly and easy to reach by phone.

We had an amazing stay here and would stay again. A beautiful house in the heart of the city.
Pros - Perfect location. 5 minute walk and you're in the Funchal city center. - House, garden and pool were all exceptional. - Had all the amenities we needed. House seemed to be renovated recently so everything was modern, clean and worked well. - Surprisingly quite and private given the location.
Cons - The single pane windows, whilst beautiful, aren't very noise or weather resistant. The area isn't too noisy but when it is, you will hear it. There was a storm and we found that without the shutters closed, rain would get in and soak the wall and floors. Wasn't a big deal really. - Internet would stop working semi-regularly. Host company were helpful and responsive in trying to fix it but seems to be an issue at the providers end that is likely just temporary and will be fixed.
Overall, had a really enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

Stunning house in the middle of Funchal's old town - we enjoyed the lavish garden, the private pool, the spacious house and the location - easily walkable anywhere in the city. A real treat!

Location was excellent. The villa had everything required and was clean and very comfortable. The gardens were lovely and very secluded considering the city centre location. The pool was smaller than we expected from looking at the photos, and despite paying extra to have it heated, there were no pool towels provided on arrival, and we had to ask for them to be delivered.

Wow what a beautiful house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which had everything we needed with a really nice, modern decor. I loved all the pictures dotted around and the stylish wallpaper. A very calming property and allowed us to relax at the end of a busy day. My 5 year old son enjoyed the pool and the garden area searching for lizards and we enjoyed the outdoor seating areas. Everything was within walking distance so would definitely recommend to anyone visiting. I would definitely go back if in Madeira again.
